Chapter 3 - 2

(Laboratory under Z-City)

Screams echoed throughtout the entire laboratory. With blood splattering the white walls and bodies chained , the laboratory looked like some sort of hellish prison. At the center of a room filled with corpses of various species, Embrio stood as he examined something that looked like a goat's horn.

He picked a set of various weapons and tried to destroy, but to no avail. He then tried to pierce his own arm with it, but it just grazed it. He smirked and threw the horn in a pile of materials that he took from the multiple corpses that littered the room.

"Well looks like it's my lucky day. I keep founding interesting monsters with little to no effort. Saitama might be the cause if the rumors are anything to go by. I should check if the rumors are actually about him, though it's quite funny that all those monsters keep coming here to challenge someone that might not actually exist." Said Embrio. He walked along a dark corridor and reached a metal door that had multiple locks. He opened the door to a gigantic room, so dark that nothing could be seen. Only the sound of ragged breathing could be heard.

Embrio stepped inside and walked toward a light switch. Pressing it, the entire room was illuminated, showing what it contained. Embrio smiled widely and started to count in his head.

"So many....I might finally have my army sooner than i thought. Now i just need to prepare myself for the future God Threat that will appear. And maybe, just maybe see with Blast if i should help the heroes." Said Embrio, and with that he pressed the interrupter again and exited the room.

(Hero Assocation HQ)

"The Dragon Threat destroyed half of D-City!!!" A woman shouted to her superior who clenched his teeth and picked up his phone. He typed a number and waited for the person to pick up.

"How are things going ? Who is going towards the threat ?.........What ?! What do you mean only B-Class heroes are ready to help ?! Where are the others ?!....No, no. Don't call Tatsumaki, it's too dangerous to have her fight this giant. Send a message to Bang and Atomic Samurai, see if they are near B-City." Said the man and hung up. He turned to his ȧssistant and motioned for her to come .

"The Giant seems to not have any particular target. See if we can have a few heroes distract him and get him to go towards Z-City."Said the man, his ȧssistant nodded and departed while the other staff members seemed to have calmed down.

"Sir! An unknown man has appeared on the giant's shoulder!"

"What?! Who's that ?!" Yelled the man. He checked one of the screens and saw that a camera had spotted a man in a yellow jumpsuit standing on the giant's shoulder.

"What should we do, sir ?! Could that man be an ȧssociate of the giant ?!"

"............For now we stick to how we usually do. Wait for the heroes to intervene. Send as many A-Class Heroes as possible, and i don't care if they have other things to do. This threat could end up doing a lot more damage then it should."The man said, and just a second after his phone rang.

"Yes, what is it? Wait.........Blast ?"

The Ghost town was home to a plethora of monsters, this place was famous for being a true nest of the worst monsters. However it was known that something much more terrifying lived there. No matter if you were a human or a mysterious being, there were some places that should always be avoided.

Yet this particular day, a group of monsters decided to ignore that, or maybe they just didn't know. They were quite weird, looking like giant and human version of sea creatures. Some were octopus while others looked like sharks. They were currently walking toward an abandoned hospital that was said to be one of the places that monsters never dared to approach.

"I don't understand why there are no humans here. Could it be possible that some of us decided to attack first ? " Asked one of them.

"Nah, no one would've disobeyed the Deep Sea King." Answered the one to his right.

"Well, we all know some Seafolk are stupid enough to defy him." Said the one to his left.

"Whatever, we will eventually fi-" Said one of them, but couldn't finish. The others stopped when they heard a loud crash and looked at where he was supposed to be, but saw that he now was encased in a building and sported a massive hole in his ċhėst.

"Wha-" The one who talked first tried to say something but was stopped by a black blur that passed right through his head.

"THE FUCK IS GOING ON ?! WHO'S DOING THAT?! SHOW YOURSELF COWARD!!!" Shouted one of the Seafolk.

"Well, i could kill all of you without even having to talk, but i still need some informations." Said a cloaked figure that appeared on the Seafolk's head.

"I don't know if you can actually call me a human, but well........I don't think you even care." Said the man, before suddenly rushing at the Seafolk that stood behind him. The man jumped in the air, landing on the Seafolk's face, and in a quick motion sticked a dagger in the Seafolk's eyes.

"ARGHH!!!!"

The man then appeared on a building next to the Seafolk that previously yelled at him and just stood there, while said Seafolk looked at his friend, horrified to see that his face was rapidly decaying.

"Don't stay there looking all surprised dumbass." Said the man, who was now standing in front of the Seafolk.

"W-Who the hell are you?!" Asked the terrified seafolk.

"Doesn't matter. But if you want to live, you're gonna have to answer some of my questions." Said the man. The Seafolk looked like he was about to attack him, but froze when he saw that a dark miasma of death was oozing from the man.

"Let's start with a simple one.............Do you want to become an undead ?"
