11 The Second Day

The sun sets yet another time. Its light fades away like a dimming fire as darkness begins to descend like a growing shadow. As the sun disappears from the sky, the moon takes its spot and the king of the sky. Inside a vast library, a handsome youth with red eyes and black hair closed a red book with intricate golden designs that he had just recently finished. He whispered softly under his breath, "It's time to feed." He placed the book back on to its empty spot in the rack and turned towards the wooden staircase. After reading inside the library for a whole day, he had gained vast amounts of knowledge about the Terradeus continent and this world. He had gained many advanced skills and techniques in the multiple realms of Alchemy, Combat, Cooking, Sorcery, Forging and Diplomacy. With the skills and techniques he memorized and understood, he would easily achieve the highest rank of each realm among mortals.

Within the books about those topics, there are multiple techniques and skills forged by the Gods themselves. These techniques and skills may be simple but they are an amazing help to any who would use it. The techniques are easy to learn and replicate, only 3 of them required his current intelligence to understand and yet it still took him an hour each on them. From the books he read, he had gained an understanding on things he previously were oblivious to like his Combat Rank and how to increase it. He discovered the multiple cultivation methods that existed and their pros and cons, he had learned ways to combine them in a way that would maximize their pros and minimize their cons. In short, all of his time in the library had been worthwhile and he felt forever grateful at the system that has given him an OP boost in his new life.

He walked up the polished wooden stairs and walked out of the library through the large wooden doors as they open for their master. The youth walked upon the dark stone bridge, a great contrast to the brightly lit library that he had just exited from. His throat burned with a thirst for blood, a vampire's curse. However, the pain is not that painful in comparison to his first. Tonight, he would not need to rush on his hunt for blood. Despite so, he wanted to take a bite as quick as he can so he could see the progress his servants have done in a day. A blood red mist emerges from his cloak and envelops him, a large black bat then emerges from the mist and flies up into the night sky. For this night, he'd like to try if there is a difference between virgin blood and non-virgin blood. According to the complete map of the Terradeus continent, the nearest city is 87km north east from his castle. He plans to ambush his victim and drink her blood from the shadows, as to conceal his presence.

He flew at Mach speed towards the neighboring city of Falgrad. According to the near omniscient books of the library, Falgrad is a major city of the empire despite only being a small city. Falgrad is located within the Fallhena Mountains. The mountains are filled with ice and earth affinity monsters and are very rich in rare ores. Precious metals and gemstones within the kingdom are mainly gained from Falgrad. The city has many high ranking nobles and wealthy people within its walls, while the workers live closer to the mines outside the city walls. Unlike most slums, the slums are not filthy and the houses there are well built. Unlike other low class workers, their salary is on par with middle class citizens resulting in a growing population of miners.

Within 15 minutes, the city of Falgrad comes to sight. The city is lively tonight, as there are many night markets on the city squares. He suddenly stopped his movement mid air and immediately dived down into a dark alley near to a night market. From above, he has spotted 3 potential victims, all young girls that appear to be around their early twenties or have just reached adulthood. Upon reaching the ground, he immediately transformed back into his handsome human form. He used his shadow manipulation to conceal him deeper in the darkness. He peeped on the quiet road and spotted a young lady with long brown hair and blue eyes walking down the road. He backed away deeper into the alley and waited for her to walk by. When he saw her passing around the alley, he immediately used his hypnotic gaze to draw her to him. Using hypnosis, he made her walk up to him and upon being face to face with his victim, he bit down her neck. He held the victim's waist as he drains her blood away. When she starts to turn pale, he pulled his head up from her neck and let her waist go. She collapses to the ground but she has enough blood to recover. He wipes the blood his lips and quickly leaves by using the world crystal's teleportation gate.

A blue tear opens within a large city square within Bloodthorn city. A figure emerged from it, ahandsome youth with black hair and red eyes. He stood in the square, in front of a large castle like building while his back leaned on the stone base of the youth's statue. Sebastian used his mental link and contacted all of his summoned servants, "Come here, I need to know what you all have done within the last day." Almost immediately, Gusion emerges from a dark alley on his left with his usual smirk on his face. He walked closer to his master and stood a few feet away, his arms in his pockets. In a few seconds, Skadia appeared in a brilliant flash of light with Theresa standing on her right side. A mound of dirt emerged from the gap between the stone pavements and quickly molded into Hailyn's figure. Lilith is the last to appear, she emerged out from a shadow that crept along the buildings like a snake. With all of his summoned servants here, he began to ask them.

As Gusion manages the city alongside Skadia, he asked them how the city's been developing so far. Gusion tells him about the people with potential that he invited to the city via a red envelope with a letter and 10 gold coins inside. The people he invited are all low class citizens who had great potential but could not increase in wealth and status due to what he called as a spoiled system because of its lack of meritocracy. He managed to invite exactly 4876 people whose age are below 40, both men and women. Within the letter, he told them to invite their families to move towards the city and because of that, the city will gain 26,818 new citizens. They will all be transported here through a portal that he built connecting the invited's town or village to a larger gate in front of the city connecting them all. According to his calculations there will be 92,000 people inhabiting the city by the time it becomes finished on tomorrow morning. It included the workers who built the city, the people he invited, the possible influx of villagers and the succubi Lilith had called with her power. He is simply just very impressed of Gusion's abilities, his intelligence added by his good looks is a frightening combination. He may look slightly more handsome than Gusion but his intelligence still lagged behind that of Gusion's.

As Gusion ended his explanation, Skadia continued it by announcing that she hired a 2000 men army of mercenaries to act as the city's security. They will be personally trained by her to guard the city and patrol. The army will arrive in the morning alongside most of the other citizens and the succubi. It will arrive through a large temporary teleportation gate that connects to another temporary gate inside the mercenary's camp. With the number added up, there will be a total of around 94,000 people inhabiting the city. Sadly, the mercenaries she hired are considered strong yet each of them have not even reach the bronze rank, stuck just below it at Iron III rank. Then he asked Hailyn, "So Hailyn, have you ruled any regions of the forest yet?" She nodded and then in a combined voice of a young woman and that of a mature woman she spoke, "I have elevated to the same rank as you, Master. I have reached the Immortal-6 rank by slaying the 3 kings of the east, west and south region. You are now the uncontested ruler of these regions. I have yet to conquer the north but I will achieve it soon." He gave her a proud smile and replied her with a good job before telling her that she is dismissed so that she could conquer the remaining north and central region. As usual, she fades away into leaves blown by the wind.

Next, Theresa and Lilith spoke together like a team about the improvements they did on the castle. They spoke in turns, explaining each of them in detail before letting the other speak. They apparently got along, despite being enemies in a spiritual sense, a saint and a demon. Lilith summoned more of her kin to help populate the city and chose the 200 strongest succubi within her call's range to become maids in the castle. Theresa created a large garden of rare magical herbs around the chasm to absorb its abyssal energies to nurture the herbs and even modify them to produce better effects. She told her intent in making a blood substitute to Sebastian so that he would not descend into madness if he travelled to lands where there is no blood to feed on. He is fine with that but tells her that it should not be too addicting, as he enjoys the sensation of dominating his victims and hearing their pleasurable moans. Theresa looked at him with disgust but decided to not argue against her perverted master. Unlike Theresa, Lilith jiggled her breasts when he told them about the sensation before Theresa used her golden staff to chain her hands with a quick spell. Her breast jiggling took Sebastian's attention and he sent a mental message to Lilith, 'If you want to help me lose my virginity, then wait for 3 weeks and I'll push you to the bed.' Lilith smiled happily as she recieved her master's invitation. Theresa couldn't help but roll her eyes at her horny friend and master.

After knowing their improvements, he decided to head into the central region of Regarus Forest to increase his combat rank. After all, he wants to become the strongest among them anyways. Before he turned to left, Gusion tapped him on the shoulder and asked him, "Master, to finalize the city and establish it, you will need to sign on this document to approve its opening." Gusion took out a scroll with the Agareth kingdom's royal seal upon it and unrolled it before handing it over to Sebastian. He read all of the scrolls contents, checking that there is nothing that can be used against him within the agreement contained within. Upon finding no mistakes, he used shadow manipulation to create a pen and signed on the bottom of the scroll. Sebastian bid a simple goodbye and left towards the cliffs separating the forest and the city.
