With the 9000 merit point he had on him, he decided to go shopping for materials on the market. Each piece of material is counted as 1 kg of it. Common materials cost 1 point for 10 pieces, uncommon materials cost 1 point for 5 pieces, rare materials cost 1 point for 2 pieces and bronze materials cost 1 point each. Silver materials cost 2 points, gold materials 5 points, dark gold materials 20 points, white gold materials 50 points, epic materials 100 points and imperial materials 200 points.

He planned to stick to a 1000 point budget, to stick to that budget, he only purchased white gold and epic materials to be forged. He bought 5 kg of Advanced Thunder Iron, an epic ranked material that can easily amplify electrical currents flowing through it and 10 kg of Mithril, a white gold ranked material that is strong, lightweight and can conduct mana. These materials would make the most effective materials for making electrical equipment. The mana conduction could be a back up if the electrical generators are failing or without fuel.

After he re-entered reality with the materials in tow, he immediately headed to the castle's forging room. There are many rooms in his castle that he never used before, take the forging room as an example. The forging room is in pristine condition and it had many benefits within it like the default magic arrays within it. The forging room had multiple magic arrays within it, one that increased mana flow in the area to increase effect of spells and techniques involving small amounts of mana, one that sealed heat and pressure to one specific area to minimize heat loss and one that prevented smoke and steam from escaping so that the room does not become suffocating due to steam and smoke.

The room's entrance is two elegant stone doors with multiple runes lined on its edges. It had a half oval like shape and it had a metal handlebar on each of the two doors. Inside the room, the walls are stone bricks and the floor is made of stones blocks. The ceiling however is wood, a blue hexagonal magic array appears on its surface. It is the mana density array that gathers nearby mana or converts other similar energies into mana. The room is rectangular in shape and appears like a long corridor that ends with a large stone furnace.

Unlike the usual red embers that would be inside a normal furnace, the embers and the flame are water blue. The fire used here is mana fire, this type of fire is at least 4 times more hot than the common flames. Unlike fire that rapidly exhausts oxygen, mana fire consumes mana more efficiently. There are 2 anvils in the room, lined up beside each other on the room's left closest to the stone brick furnace. The rest of the room is filled with a deep blue water well at the opposite of the anvils and carefully placed stone tables with forging tools on them.

He planned on using the whole day to practice and use the techniques. He aimed on achieving one new technique by the day's end. First, he tried forging gears and pipes. He first used apprentice techniques which he observed had a 10% success rate and took half an hour to forge a 1m long pipe. The gears fared better with a 25% success rate and took only 5 minutes each. To get more useful tools, he practiced using advance techniques to make a wrench for connecting the pipes.

After using 3 hours, he had managed to perfect the apprentice techniques and had made one mythril pipe after much difficulty. He managed to also make 3 gears with the 25% chance he had. Then, he shifted to blacksmith techniques. They increased his chances from 10% to 20% and 25% to 45%. He alloted 9 hours to perfecting those techniques and practicing it. The failed items from the forging are scrapped and reused since he didn't plan to use up his merit points just to make a hot tub and a modern stove.

I mean who would? Gathering merit points is hard. It can only be gained completing active and hidden quests, submitting monster carcasses or cultivation items or by submitting weapons and items. Even so, the rate of exchange is low, monster carcasses are the best trade. Although an apex monster would give only 1 merit point per carcass, a strong cultivator could get tons of merit points by killing eternal and legendary rank monsters.

He started practicing and applying basic master techniques, thanks to his greater intelligence abilities he finished in 36 hours which is 4 times faster than what prodigies of forging would take. Thanks to the extra blood he took 2 days ago, he won't lust for blood until 3 days later. The intermediate master blacksmith techniques surprisingly took half a week to complete. His throat started to feel dry but his determination on building a large hot tub room is greater than a little thirst.

Staying awake is kind of a problem until he purchased the gold ranked passive skill, Basic Sleep Resistance. It helped his body by suppressing his vampire nature of having to sleep in coffins for at least 6 hours a day. He spent 6 hours creating new techniques and applying it to make a generator and a heater out of epic ranked parts. He placed the generator near the chasm by flying as due to having a mythril turbine, the generator will provide electricity by using the abyssal energy being emitted from the chasm.

He forged a long, thin wire of advanced thunder iron which should amplify the flowing current strength and speed. The wire connects to a mythril heater which amplify the heat produced allowing him to cover up to a circular area with a 3m radius. To assemble the items to these, he bought their designs from the store and bought an epic ranked telekinesis skill, "Intermediate Precise Telekinesis." The skill allowed him to control up to 1000 objects with each not being any heavier than 10 tonnes. The things he use telekinesis on also can move up to mach speed and they are precise up to millimetres.

With the high precision, it took him only 10 minutes to assemble the items and perfectly forge the wire as his skill is slightly more accurate than his own hands. Knowing that he sighed, "I should really train more using my swords." He then payed the system 100 merit points to instantly build the 6m long hot tube near his bedroom and the 189 guest bedrooms. He did the finishing touches by inserting the heater and completing the circuitry. It's all done in a matter of 20 minutes. As for the water, he got it from the castle's massive well in the basement. As mana is rich in these areas, the water is clean and had a high mana density compared to normal water.

The mana infused water would bring calmness and clarity to those that submerge at least half of their body in it. He set the temperature to 45°c and it resembled the saunas in japan albeit more modern and fantasy looking. After stripping off his top and leaving himself completely naked, he entered the pool and bathed himself in its cleansing, warm waters. "Aaaaaaahhhhhh." The water made him more sleepy and relaxed as his pores open due to the hot water. His sexy abs sparkles every time he resurfaces and leans on the stone walls of the tub.

"This is just the best." The water made him feel less burdened, he could think of his plans more clearly. First, he needed great power, check. Second he needed a harem. He contemplated on his harem, he could tell that Lilith is the first to sign up as she is the horniest woman alive. He wanted to get hot girls that he would need to fight or dominate, something a little more of a challenge. If he managed to seduce someone like that, he would treat her more than just like a member of his harem but maybe even as a girlfriend.

He pondered more about his plans on his future empire, a kingdom now sounded a little less interesting then before after finding out that he could slaughter the whole Agareth kingdom and its neighbors in just a few weeks. After the 30 minute long hot bath, he now smelled like roses and he went up to his bedroom after changing to his usual attire. Instead of sleeping on his coffin, he slept on his bed as he never tried sleeping on it. When he dropped down onto the velvet sheets of the bed, he felt a very soft surface under him and he quickly slept. 'Why did I never try using my bed while I was in here?'
