134 Chapter 133: New friends

Name:Part Wolf Author:obsessedWithWolves
"Ahh, this feels good," Elize said, rotating her torso to either side. "I never knew training could be this satisfying."

The whole training session had been a series of relays, where they had to shift, dodge attacks from the seniors and avoid being tackled to the ground while carrying a baton all the way to the endpoint. Elize outshone all of her classmates during the session while enjoying herself thoroughly. The fact that Zack was watching her made her more confident in her moves. No one could manage to touch her even once. As she had finished the relay, Zack had run over to her joyously, picking her wolf up in one quick swoop. She had yelped in joy, licking his face in excitement as the whole class watched them with their mouths hanging open. Finally, Nina had dragged him away, with the excuse of having to discuss something with him and Jin. Elize hesitantly let go of her mate, jogging over to the bush in which she had hidden her clothes. She was just about to go back towards where Nina and all were standing when she heard footsteps approaching. She turned around with a smile, recognizing the pace of the steps.

"Hey, Elize!" A boy said excitedly, looking at her with a broad smile.

She waved at her new friend with who, only a few days ago at combat practice she had fought. Sean had been the very first wolf she had fought even during a game. They had bonded quite well after the day, with the boy visibly in awe of her strength.

"Hey, Sean," Elize replied, walking over to meet her friend halfway. "How is your friend?" She asked, keeping the smile.

Sean chuckled, shaking his head. "Sam is still scared of you."

"Me?" Elize asked, looking confused.

Sam was the wolf who she had almost ended up killing on the day of the combat practice. The boy had tried his best to avoid her ever since the day. Although he looked rather shy, he didn't seem scared of her- not like Sean was describing it. After all, it was just a match and she had quickly forgotten about the incident afterward. It so happened that Sam was Sean's Alpha. They were the only ones from their pack in the school. She had only learned of that on the day of her birthday party when she had met the two. But this was the first time that she was hearing about the Alpha's fear of her, which seemed completely ridiculous to her.

Elize raised her brows, looking towards the direction. Sam was standing along with a few others beneath the Sycamore tree, sneaking glances at her. He quickly looked away as he noticed her looking in his direction. It was true that Sam had played dirty when he had thrown sand at her face, but that was in the past. She didn't hold such grudges. Turning towards Sean, she couldn't help but laugh.

"Tell him that I have long forgotten about the fight." She said, with a wink. "All is fair in love and war, right?"

Sean smiled in agreement. Leaning towards her, he asked, "Speaking of which, a bunch of us are going out to the club tonight. Would you like to come with us?"

Elize beamed at the offer. It was the first time that one of her classmates actually took the effort to ask her out to hang out with them. She really wanted to go and make new friends, after a whole life full of her classmates wither being scared of her or bullying her. She liked the changes that her shift had brought about. Luckily, although most of the girls in her class acted weird around her because of Zack, at least there were people like Sean who didn't share the sentiments.

"Sure, why not?" She said enthusiastically, "Mind if I bring my friends along?"

"Of course, as long as you don't bring any seniors." He replied, pointing awkwardly towards Zack and his friends.

It was only normal for her batchmates to be awkward around seniors. And Zack definitely was not someone easily approachable. His reputation of coming from a well off family, and belonging to the famed Disciplinary Committee made him quite high up on the academy's food chain, only next to the Dragon Prince himself. This naturally made him quite popular among the girls in the school and at the same time, made the boys in the school wary of him. She understood it all perfectly. She knew that that was why many of the boys in her class stayed away from her too, with Zack announcing their relationship in front of everyone the other night.

Elize laughed, "Haha. I understand." She said, with a nod.

Elize didn't mind the condition. She already had other plans in mind. When Sean mentioned the outing, the first people who came to her mind were Agatha and Legolas. She had already made up her mind to support Legolas in pursuing her friend. This was the perfect opportunity for it, She thought to herself.

"So, what time should we reach?" Elize asked, lowering her voice.

"Try to reach before eight," Sean said, leaning in. "It's Sam's birthday today. So we're planning on a bit of a celebration."

"Oh! You should have told me earlier!" Elize exclaimed, "I will be there for sure." She said, patting her friend's arm.

Sean nodded excitedly. Taking a small card out from his jacket, he extended it towards her. "Here's the address." He said, handing it to her. "I guess I'll see you there."

"You bet!" Elize said, with a wink.

Sean laughed excitedly and quickly excused himself. She watched him run towards Sam with a slight smile. The plan to make her friends fall in love was already brewing in her head. the only thing that was left to do was drag Agatha and Legolas out of the academy before the gates closed. She turned back towards where Zack stood, chatting with his friends. Her mate's back was turned towards her as he laughed at something that his cousin said. On the other hand, Nina's gaze was on her- her brows raised in curiosity. Elize winked at her friend before jogging towards where the group stood.
