48 Chapter 48: Tian-Tian 4

It was a hidden room that was used before as storage room for tons and tons of illegal drugs.

He went down the spiral staircase and immediately saw a frail looking boy. He ran towards the boy and after seeing his condition he hastily used his pocket knife and started to cut the hemp rope.

The boy felt a sharp stinging pain as the knife cut through the rope.

"Did Tian-Tian sent you?"

He asked as he gritted his teeth and endured the pain.

"Our little Tian-Tian? Yes."

He replied. And carefully lifted the boy. And brought him out of the secret room.

He carried the boy and carefully put him inside his jeep and drove to the nearest clinic. Probably due to exhaustion the boy passed out.

After two hours, the boy regain his consciousness. His wounds are dressed and he's wearing a clean hospital gown. His whole body was almost covered with bandages.

A nurse came in doing her rounds. He asked the nurse if he could borrow her cellphone so he could call his father.

The nurse handed him her phone. It was a worn out pink nokia cellphone. He dialed to the main house and  it was their butler Lao Chan who quickly answered.

"Lee residences."

"Its me."

Hearing little Ian's faint voice,  Lao Chan easily recognized him. His old voice was trembling..

"Young master, where are you? Are you hurt?"

Little Ian asked the nurse their exact location, then hang up.

Minutes later, 10 men in black business suit, a doctor and two pretty nurses arrived at the small clinic.

They placed little Ian on a wheelchair and put him in an ambulance.

They paid the clinic a huge amount of money and handed a brand new Nokia phone to the nurse who lend her old phone to little Ian earlier.

No one knew who the wounded little boy was. But after what happened, the rural D City suddenly flourished and developed.

The old abandoned warehouse was demolished, and had became a restricted area.

Tian-Tian had totally forgotten about her first "boyfriend". She was busy and preoccupied playing with her new found toy. Days passed by peacefully for her.

Grandma Lin and Brother Andy didn't tell her what happened to the kid, because honestly, they really had no idea too.

They have never brought up that incident ever again.

After what happened, as if they had struck a pot of gold, her Brother Andy was promoted to being the deputy sheriff and also receive a new car.

Tian-Tian was awarded with a full scholarship and educational plan without any condition for mainting scholarship.
