58 Chapter 58: breaking the habit 3

Ian was sitting quietly at his playground. He looks so dejected and sad.

His hair has been disheveled, there are no trace of his astonishing demeanor, instead he looks so defeated and lost.

He was staring blankly at the bare concreate walls.

Charlie was beside him sharing the same gloomy expression. He was holding a bottle of whiskey and smoking a cigarette nonstop, thick smoke kept coming out of his mouth like a fuelled chimney.

"What's wrong with you?"

He asked. He had no idea why Ian had asked him to come over. He didn't even wait for him outside.

The passage to the playground was wide open and only two guards were standing outside.

Ian mechanically looked at him. His eyes were void of emotions. He took a drag on his own cigarette and said.

"I almost killed her."

Charlie was dumbfounded by what he heard. He basically knows who he is referring to.

He had a glimpse of her in Drunken Fairy not long ago.

"Fucker what did you do?"

"I couldn't control my emotions."

He got upset that's why he unknowingly hurt her. .

Since he didn't hurt her that much while they're mating, he thought that he had his feelings under control.

That it's safe for her to be with him. He have never imagine that he would be the one to harm her using his own hands.

"I don't know, I got agitated and I almost crushed her.."

His voice was trembling as he starts to recall images of her inside his head.

He can't forget Tia's pale face and the feeling of her almost lifeless body in his arms.

It caused him to feel shocked and have a nervous breakdown.

Tears started to stream down his face. His whole body was shaking.

He was scared to death, he didn't have the guts to stay with her in the hospital cause he's afraid that she might not be able to forgive him.

He don't know how he would face her.

The sight of her unconsciously lying at the hospital bed makes him want to kill himself.

Maybe she's right, maybe they are not ready yet.

Charlie went to his side and lighlty patted his back.

He have never seen him like this before.

He was always arrogant and domineering. Now he looked like a man who have lost his will to live.

"Everything will be okay bro. Say, why don't we get your emotions checked, I know a good doctor, he's my friend. I think he can help you. He's unlike the oldies from your Lee household."

Charlie consoled him. He knows that Ian was seeing the Lee family's personal therapist.
