91 Chapter 91: rumour has it 1

After their rigorous whole day "exercise" Tia woke up feeling all sore and worn out.

She slowly went to the bathroom and took a shower.

Ian heard the water running from the bathroom and he waited for Tia to come out.

She felt much better after her warm bath. She went out wearing her bath robe and there's droplets of water in her wet hair.

Her skin looks pinkish and steam coming out of the bathroom makes her look like a nymph coming out of a mystic lake.

Ian was immediately entranced by her looks, he was about to say something but he kept his mouth shut and just savour that tantalizing moment.

"You're awake."

He heard Tia said, pulling him out of his trance.

"En."

"That's good, I'm just gonna drop by the office."

"Why?"

"I need to do some unfinished task that's due tomorrow. I've been away from work for 4 days....

We'll have our vacation next week. Okay? Why are you not going to work anyway?" Tia asked.

"Just stay here no need to go. I'll just have my secretary do it for you.. You need to rest... My office is under renovation so I'll just work from here."

Ian explained. He's following Kenny's advise in removing everything that reminds him of the secret base.

"No need to worry, I'm fine. And no, I need to work properly and I don't want to ride on your authority just because we're going out...

If you meddle with my work I'll immediately resigned."

Tia sternly warned. She doesn't need Ian's help or power cause she knows she can do everything on her own skills and talents.

Ian didn't say anything cause he's afraid that Tia might really leave BYTE if he insisted.

Tia is not just his" future wife" , she's also a very valuable asset to his company.

She's a diligent and talented worker who can accomplish task and even step up her game and assist her colleagues even on critical times.

"I won't interfere, but please come back here during lunch time. Okay?."

Ian sulked, Tia bit her lips suppressing her laughter. His childish antics was too adorable and cute.

Ian went to her dresser and helped her blow dry her hair while she put on her lipgloss and facial sunscreen.

After she's done applying her lipgloss Ian kissed her. He purposely smeared her lip balm off..

"Why d'you need to put that on?"

"My lips are all chapped thanks to you. So I need to put my lipgloss so it won't feel all sore and stingy"

Tia lectured him. Ian bowed his head like a kid being wronged.

"It's your fault for having kissable lips."

"..."

Ian argued back. Tia pinched his cheeks.

"You dare to talk back to me?... I'm leaving bye."

Then she marched towards the door. Ian looked at her with puppy eyes then he exclaimed.

"You forgot something.."

Tia rolled her eyes then planted a goodbye kiss on his lips.

"Mr. Lee you better clean and cook a scrumptious lunch. Be a good wife okay."

Tia jokingly said then she heads out of their apartment.
