93 Chapter 93: rumour has it 3

Ian could feel an impeding doom coming down on him.

He dropped the spatula that he was holding startling his personal chef that he called over to teach him how to cook.

After Tia left for work, he called one of his professional chef to help him so he can cook a yummy lunch for Tia.

Ian signaled for the chef to leave. Then he softly asked.

"What do you mean?"

"CEO LEE! WHY DID YOU MAKE ME MANAGER! I TOLD YOU I DON'T WANT YOU TO INTERFERE!"

Tia infuriatedly roared. Ian was shocked silly to hear her screaming so angrily at him through the phone.

"Tian-Tian calmed down, I didn't do anything."

Indeed he had no idea what she's talking about.

After he fired Manager Qin that day he got so caught up with work that he have no time to check things about Tia.

He could remember that he instructed his secretary to upgrade Tia's office but that's it.

During the time that Tia fainted, he wasn't in the mood to do things work related stuff and all he did was drink and moped around at his playground.

"Oh really? Then can you explain to me why did I became the Manager and why did my office magically renovated if you didn't do anything?"

Tia berrated. Ian gulped hard then slowly explained.

"I did asked for your office to be rearranged but that's it. I have no involvement with your promotion. If I will promote you, you will be the CEO."

Tia hang up then she sent an email to her director.

Minutes later the director had responded to her email explaining her the nature of her promotion.

Her director explained that she's qualified for her position due to her being hard working and a role model to her colleagues.

She always go and do extra miles when it comes to doing projects.

The director regretted that they didn't gave her a formal ceremony since Manager Qin's exit was unexpected.

They didn't have the time to prepare and look for his replacement and Tia has been the suitable candidate so they decided to promote her.

After finding out what happened, she felt guilty towards Ian so she decided to head home. She wanted to personally apologize to him.

She's also wasn't in the mood to work because of the rumours going around so she grabbed her bag then walked out of her office.

She was about to leave when someone blocked her way.
