"How dare you wound Goddess Tia's face with your filthy hands!"

One of Tia's fans scolded Jenny.

Others followed suit and voiced out their opinion.

"So what if Ms. Kim is dating our CEO. They are perfect for each other."

"Ms. Kim, don't mind what she said. We don't believe the rumours and we believe that you deserve your promotion."

Words of encouragement poured out from all of her colleagues. Tia just gave them a warm smile and hurriedly went inside her office.

She hastily disinfect then applied an ointment on the wound.

She felt a sharp pain on her cheek as she tend to her injury.

Fortunately, It was only a short streak scratch and it is just shallow and not likely to leave a scar.

She waited for the redness and the swelling to subside before she put on a concealer to hide the wound.

She doesn't want Ian to know what happened cause she's afraid that he will go on berserk mode if he sees her wound.

Ian called his secretary and ask about Tia's promotion. The secretary reported all the details which satisfied Ian.

Indeed she's capable to be a manager. He's somewhat feeling proud but he also felt anxious.

'Why is she not calling me back? Is she still mad at me?'

He started to overthink, he thought Tia will leave him cause she misunderstood him.

His breathing became ragged as he tried to control his emotions. He felt like he's having an episode of anxiety attack.

Tia's relentless shouting was still ringing loud to his ears.

He's afraid that he can't handle his episode so as a precaution he called Kenny to come over and see him.

He also called Charlie who had told him that's he's already on his way. He left the cooking task to his personal chef and he locked himself inside the bathroom.

He mechanically took a cold shower to calm his nerves down.

He was so distracted that he can't think straight.

He didn't even take his clothes off. He was frustrated that Tia got angry because of him.

Tia called Ian to apologize about the misunderstanding but he was not answering her calls.

She wanted to talk to him personally but she got side tracked with the confrontation earlier.

She got worried so she ran outside the office and went straight to her home.
