100 Chapter 100: Doki Doki 2

Ian pretended to be asleep the whole time, but he can clearly hear everything.

He waited for them to quiet down then he slowly opened his eyes.

Tia hurriedly went to his side when she notice him moving.

Ian immediately notice the red scratch on her face but he act as if he didn't see it.

He touched Tia's right cheek and gave her a sweet smile.

"Hey how are you?"

Tia softly asked, tears started welling up in her eyes.

"Thirsty." Ian said, his voice is coarsed and husky.

Tia hurriedly pour him a glass of water and handed it to him.

Kenny went inside and Tia moved aside to give room for Kenny.

He examine Ian's vitals. Fortunately, everything is normal and his fever also had gone down.

His personal chef had prepared a porridge and Tia feed him while the gang feasted on the scrumptious lunch that the chef had prepared.

Everyone felt famished due to stress so they heartily ate.

Tia's dining area has only 4 seater table so Kenny and Charlie each grabbed a stool crammed to the table and they all ate together.

They shared a harmonious atmosphere as they enjoyed their meal.

As if the drama earlier never happened.

"Why aren't you eating something? I can feed myself. Go have some."

Ian asked Tia. Tia shook her head.

"Not hungry."

Indeed, due to what happened she had lose her appetite.

Ian noticed Mei Chen then asked.

"What is she doing here?"

He can still remember how Mei Chen had ruin their moment and what happened after it.

Mei Chen's eyes were wide from shock. She was scared silly by her boss.

"Don't be like that to little Mei. You see, when manager Qin tried to intoxicate me she's the only one brave enough to defy him and help me. She never leave my side."

Tia said. She wanted to boost Mei Chen's image to Ian.

She knows he reprimanded her by sending her to finance department.

Ian just nod acknowledging Tia's statement. Kenny who was eating looked at Mei Chen.

He thought that she was just a little nosy girl who only knows how to gossip but it appears that he had made a wrong assumption which is a first for him.

He find Mei Chen quiet interesting.

"Speaking of that Manager Qin, I wonder what happened to him?"

Tia blurted out. Charlie, Ian and TP all shared a knowing look but they acted as if they didn't hear her.

Ian cut a piece of steak and offered it to Tia.

"You should atleast try tasting this. I'm the one who marinated it."

"Really?"

"En."

Tia slowly opened her mouth and the juicy steak instantly melted inside.

It was far from the awful omelette that he had cooked before.

"Wow you've improve. It's so good." Tia exclaimed.

The personal chef just quietly looked away.

He didn't have the courage to tell his young master that he had replaced the steak cause the ones he prepared were too salty.
