While inside the car, Mei Chen gets all flustered and kept fidgeting in her seat.

"You shouldn't have come if you don't want to. I'm not a jerk to force you to join me."

Kenny said as he drive towards the cafe. He didn't know why he felt somewhat sad after he finished what he said.

He wanted to be with her, but he doesn't want Mei Chen to feel uncomfortable being with him.

"What are you talking about.."

"I... I just need to use the bathroom."

Mei Chen replied as she looked at the window trying not making any eye contact with Kenny.

She felt embarrassed to say what she felt.

She didn't get to eat any snack earlier and just drank lots of water as she worked non stop to finish all the backlogs in the past few days.

"Seriously,....you...hahaha"

Kenny heartily laughed. He really thought Me Chen felt akward and he was relieved to know that it's something else that's bothering her.

He just really couldn't figure her out.

"Don't worry, we're almost there."

He said. Minutes later they've arrive at the cafe and Mei Chen hastily ran towards the restroom.

After she relieved herself she came out and instantly saw Kenny sitting by the window side.

He looks so picturesque as he solemnly look outside, the sun shines brightly upon him giving him a godly glow.

The cafe had a rustic style interiors with brick walls and wooden window panels giving a cozy relaxing vibe.

He looks so handsome that Mei Chen was in a trance as she stared blankly at him.

Kenny noticed that someone's looking at him so he turn his head and saw Mei Chen standing not too far from him.

He waved at her and she was pulled out of her trance.

'Mei Chen wake up. Resist his charms!'

She inwardly scolded herself. She had labeled Kenny as her enemy the moment that he found out her secret.

She thought he would make fun of her and would tattletale her to her sister Tia so she could only be vigilant when she's with him.

Mei Chen walked towards Kenny and sat infront of him.

The waiter brought their menu and Mei Chen's eyes squinted as she browse through it.

"Why is the price not written here?"

She asked. Usually she would look at the price of the food before ordering cause she wanted to make sure that she had eaten her fill and the food's worth.
