Kenny gave her a warm smile and her heart started to beat faster.

"Just order anything, its on me."

He replied. Mei Chen was practically palpitating and she began to hiccup.

Kenny hastily gave her a glass of water.

"Hey, are you alright?"

He worriedly asked. Mei Chen downed the whole glass, she coughed and took a deep breath calming her nerves.

"Im fine. I'll order now."

She said. Kenny dubiously looked at her then called for the waiter.

"I'll have a lasagna, garlic bread sticks, and a whole pepperoni pizza and iced tea please."

"How about you?"

She asked Kenny. He just looked at her and amusedly shake his head.

He thought that since she's just a petite looking girl she would be like the girls he used to date who were strict with their diets.

"I'll have what she's having and two creme brulee please."

Kenny said. The waiter wrote down and confirmed their orders then walk away.

Mei Chen started scrolling through her phone.

She got bored so she  logged in to her facebook account.

She was surprised to see what's on her newsfeed.

Everything that she saw in her newsfeed were posts about" what to do with your first date" "first date tips", "Dating etiquette 101"

She hastily closed the app and suspiciously looked around.

Kenny just watched her animated gesture and he find her comical actions amusing.

She logged in to her phone and started playing their game "Rune gems."

Rune gems is a puzzled type game where you level up as you solve puzzles, logics and collect different jewels as you level up.

Its a great game to pass the time. Mei Chen was already at the high tier level, and as you level up the puzzles became harder to solve.

As she was struggling to finish the quest Kenny smilingly watched her.

"What are you doing?"

He asked curiously at little Mei who's brows were knitted as she concentrate.

"God this is so hard.."

"What is?"

"..."

Mei Chen just ignored him. He got upset for being ignored so he snatched Mei Chen's phone.

"Hey! What the fuck?"

"So you're just playing huh."

Kenny said. Just one glance and he already solve the puzzle.

"Do you know how to play it?"

"Nope. But I wanna try."

"Fine.. then try. I bet you couldn't solve it."

Mei Chen scoffed then she explains the game's mechanics to Kenny.

Although Kenny already know the answer he let Mei Chen talked.

He likes to listen to her talking and he also likes to watch the movement of her lips as she talks.

After she finish explaining in just a blink of an eye she heard the triumph sound in her phone.

She was dumbfounded at how Kenny was able to solve the puzzle in just a matter of seconds.

'That quick!'

She inwardly exclaimed. She instantly hid her amusement.

She then snatched her phone away from Kenny.

"You just got lucky Im on the verge of solving it myself."

She sneered. Kenny just shrugged her comments.

"Let's make a bet. If I manage to rank higher than you then you'll have to treat me okay?"

He confidently challenge her.

Mei Chen looked at him condescendingly.

'Just because he got lucky he thought he's a big shot'

She inwardly scoffed. She extended her hand and Kenny enthusiastically shook it.

"Challenge accepted."
