"Sis Tia, tell me what's going on?"

She asked. She was clueless with the situation that she's in.

Then Tia started filling her in with what happened. But Tia left out the part that Kenny had saved her.

He told Tia to keep it a secret for Mei Chen since he doesn't want to make her feel like she owed him.

"Do you remember anything Mei-Mei?"

"I remember I was reading emails when I heard a loud explosion coming from the ceiling.

I tried to ran and something hard hit my head.

I don't remember anything after that."

Mei Chen answered her. She looked at Kenny and wonder why he was lurking around her.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you even here?"

She irritatingly asked him. Kenny felt happy hearing Mei Chen being her usual self.

He was smiling like an idiot which made Mei Chen felt awkward.

"You're weirding me out. Creep."

She scoffed. Tia helplessly looked at Kenny.

Kenny on the other hand didn't say anything but kept on smiling.

He was just overjoyed seeing Mei Chen talking as if what happened is just a bad dream.

The truth was although at first he was planning to confess to her.

He decided not to cause he doesn't want to confuse her.

He figured he'll just show her that he cared for her.

"Hey, why are you still here. You should leave too. I can manage."

"My sister in law asked me to look after you. Besides do you have someone who'll tend to your needs?"

He asked her. Mei Chen hesitantly shook her head. She doesn't want her dad to know that she's currently in the hospital.
