241 Chapter 241: The dress 1

Mei Chen woke up after having a deep good night sleep. Ever since the smoke bomb incident, she has been in the hospital.

She wasn't able to comfortably get a shut eye due to the constant rounds of the nurses and she also didn't have her snuggle pillow.

She stirred only to find that Kenny wasn't beside her. She suddenly remembered what happened last night.

About his grand confession, their date and their little fur baby mimi.

Mei Chen blushed and tip toed her way out of the bedroom.

She instantly saw Kenny wearing a green apron and white long sleeve shirt happily preparing their breakfast at the table.

"You're up? Come, breakfast is ready."

Kenny smilingly called her out. He was setting the table and putting down a plate of crispy bacons and eggs.

Mei Chen grabbed a fork and tasted the bacon. The crispness and flavor is well balanced and tasty.

"God, its so good. You made this?"

She exclaimed. She can't believe Kenny would be able to prepare it since she herself have a hard time cooking a perfect cripsy bacon.

"Why do you always doubt my cooking skills. I live alone while I'm on college so cooking is something I can pretty much do."

"Oh, and your dress for the party was delivered here by sister in law's maid. Check it out after you finish eating."

Kenny pointed out at the box sitting on top of the couch. Tia asked him last night where he's staying and Rin Chan delivered the dress courtesy of TP earlier that morning.

Since TP had pretty much bullied the little Mei to come and perform at the party, she felt guilty and had asked Tia to deliver a dress for her to wear.

Mei Chen continued on devouring her food while Kenny was just watching her as she heartily ate and savor his dish.

"Say, you wake up early why d'you catch some sleep later hmm?"

Mei Chen worriedly looked at Kenny. He has a cheerful face but she could see his exhaustion.

She knows that while she was in the hospital he was also uncomfortable sleeping in the couch.

"Don't worry about me. Just seeing you smile takes all my fatigue away."

Mei Chen turned so red hearing him sweet talking her.

She hastily drank her orange juice and stood up.

She walked towards the box in the couch pretending as if she didn't hear Kenny's cheesy lines.

Upon opening the box, she was surprise to see the dress. It was a  white princess style dress bedazzled with small crystals.
