"It.. It's Tiffany Chang's."

She gasped, making Kenny who was putting cat food on Mimi's plate looked her way.

"I can't wear this!"

Mei Chen exclaimed. She was intently looking at the sparkling dress in front of her.

"What's wrong? You don't like it? If you want I can get you a dress you like."

Kenny offered as he walk towards Mei Chen while carrying mimi in his arms.

"No. I mean of course I'll wear this. Are you insane?!!"

"Do you have any idea how much a Tiffany Chang dress cost? And how hard for someone to get a dress from TC couture?"

Mei Chen hugged the dress tightly. Everyone in town was buzzing about the highly coveted TC couture dresses.

Everyone must wait for reservations just to get a dress, even the ladies of high status has to comply.

And now there's one in front of her just for her.

Mei Chen can't help but be thrilled. The thought of being "equal" to rich people gave her a satisfying feeling.

Then as if remembering something she looked at Kenny who was cradling their little furbaby.

He looked dumbfounded at her then glance at little mimi who was purring in his arms.

As if asking the little furball for any clues what her mom meant by what she had said.

Of course the little kitten just stared blankly at him. Unable to provide him some answers.

Mei Chen hurriedly went to the bedroom and excitedly tried the dress on.

When Mei Chen went out of the bedroom, Kenny unintentionally dropped the little kitten on to the floor.

Luckily the poor furball landed on her feet. She purr and rubbed around Kenny's legs.

On the other hand, Kenny was stunned to see his princess looking so pretty and elegant wearing the sparkling dress.

"I think we should reconsider and just stay here. We don't need to attend the party."

"What? Don't be silly."

"I mean it. I don't want anyone to see you and steal you away from me."

He said then he wrapped Mei Chen in his arms and kissed her.
