269 Chapter 269: Trouble in paradise 1

Mei Chen woke up hearing Kenny talking on the phone. He looked happy but his tone was kinda sarcastic.

She walked up to him and hugged him from behind which gave Kenny a start.

"Who's that?"

Mei Chen mouthingly asked. Kenny looked at her and hurriedly hang up the phone.

"It was that bastard Charlie. He just called to inform me that TP was already conscious."

"That good to hear. Will we go back to the mansion?"

"No. We don't have to. Let's just stay here and let them be..."

"..."

Kenny said as he hugged his princess and kissed her forehead.

The truth is Charlie told him about his impromptu engagement with TP and so Kenny doesn't want to go near him knowing that Charlie would just boast and flaunt his engagement all day.

"Want to grab some breakfast?"

"En."

Mei Chen nodded. Since S City was quite far from G City Kenny convinced Mei Chen to book at a nearby hotel.

As they get inside the elevator, a handsome man amiably smiled at Mei Chen.

He looks young, quite the same age as Little Mei. He was wearing an all black suit.

The cart and the hotel uniform that he had used earlier had been stowed away into a storage area.

Kenny instanlty caught his amiable smile and he intently glared at the handsome man.

While Mei Chen didn't seem to notice the handsome man's friendly demeanor.

She was busy thinking about what to eat for breakfast.

The young man cleared his throat and then he suddenly spoke.

"Uhm, aren't you Ms. Mei Chen?"

He said as he tap on Mei Chen's shoulders. His actions gave Mei Chen a start she looked at him and then she finally noticed the man beside her.

"Yyyou..... Tony Shin?!!!!!"

She gasped. She couldn't believe she would encounter an old classmate of her.

He could barely recognize him. Like her, Tony was also bullied because of his nerdy looks.

He used to wear a large thick pair of reading glasses and he's also a timid kid which makes him an easy target.

During the time when Mei Chen was also bullied, they will always eat lunch at the same table.

Together in silence, they felt they have found a comrade in the mean unforgiving world.

"Yep, how did you know it was me?"

Tony asked, he knews he had changecso much back then that no one was able to remember or recognize him.

But Mei Chen was different. With just a glance she could instantly tell.

"You're mole gave you away. How are you? I haven't seen or heard from you.."

Mei Chen exclaimed. Tony had a mole shaped like a cute little black heart under his left eye.

While they were in the cafeteria, Tony often eat with his head down.

They really haven't talked to each other but from time to time Mei Chen would look up and she would immediately notice his mole.

She had seen that cute mole many times that it had made an impression on her.

As the two were exchanging pleasantries Kenny couldn't help but feel like he was the third wheel.

He deliberately stood between them making sure he would block Tony's view out of his princess.

'The nerve of this bastard to flirt with my girl.'

He inwardly sneered.

As they arrived at the ground floor he hastily grabbed Mei Chen's arms and pulled her away leaving Tony smirking inside the elevator.
