"Who's that guy?"

Kenny snapped at little Mei as he drag her onto his car. He was holding her so tight that Mei Chen could feel a stinging pain in her arm.

He was enrage. The sound of Mei Chen's voice happily talking with someone let alone a man makes his blood boil.

"It hurts. Let me go..."

Mei Chen pleaded as she winced in pain from Kenny's grip. She doesn't know what made him so agitated and she felt scared.

She had never seen him act so aggressive. Kenny usually had an aloof and easy-going behavior.

Kenny immediately let Mei Chen go as soon as he realized what he had done.

He felt guilty for lashing out his jealousy onto little Mei.

Kenny tried to approach her, but as he was about to hug her Little Mei swatted his hands. She looked away, there's an obvious look of fear in her eyes.

They both sat quietly inside his car, not moving an inch. As the awkward silence grew deeper, Kenny suddenly heard a clicking sound.

Mei Chen alighted the car and hastily ran towards the exit. She was crying. She had never felt so alone and hurt.

Little Mei couldn't figure out what happened. She looked at her arms, there's a red pulsating swellness around it.

As she was walking outside the hotel she heard a honking sound, she turned around and immediately saw an unfamiliar car.

Suddenly the car window rolled down and a manly hands waved at her.

"Little Mei, you need a ride?"

Tony asked. He was just about to leave the hotel when he notice Mei Chen absent mindedly walking infront of him.

Mei Chen hastily wiped her tears away and amiably smiled back at Tony.

"There's no need. I'm just going towards the bus station."

"Come hop in. The station is quite far from here."

"It's alright really. I don't want to inconvenience you."

"You sure gonna just walk out there wearing that?"

"...."

Tony pointed out at her dress and her flipflops. It was then that Mei Chen realized that she was only wearing a thin fabric sundress and a pair of slippers.

Since they only planned to have their breakfast earlier she only wears casual clothes thinking that they'll retreat back at their room she didn't expect that they will have a fight so early in the morning, not only that, she also forgot to bring her purse when she walked out of Kenny's car.

Mei Chen looked back at the towering hotel, she was about to go back inside but then she remembered the anger in Kenny's eyes.

Fear crept into her heart. She figured she wanted to get away from him, for now. Until her feelings got sorted out.
