124 Time To Move Out: Part 3

Wednesday, 22th of April 2021. 1400 Hours. Forward Operational Base Temporary Command Center.

"You set up this place really neatly for someone who only gets an hour for decorating," Nathan complimented Aline for taking care of the FOB.

The command center was a basic white room with a meeting table, a projector, a whiteboard, and some other monitors for the sake of giving commands effectively. In there, a laptop was on standby.

All of the contractors still wore their school uniforms and sat down on the chairs that were available in that room.

Lynn was fiddling with her right eye socket that was still hollow since an eye was unavailable for her at the moment. She always used a medical eye patch when she was at school and a black eye patch when she operated.

"Hmm, what's that for?" Clara asked Nathan who was carrying a black tube on his back.

"Blueprint," Nathan said as he opened that tube and placed the blueprint on the whiteboard. It was a blueprint of a certain building. It was the blueprint of the national depository.

The only one who realized that was Clara and Alex since both of them had seen that blueprint before. Their eyes were widely opened in surprise as Nathan revealed that blueprint.

"You know what is this?" Nathan asked all of the contractors.

"Nope."

"No idea."

"A bank vault?"

"We're going to rob a bank?"

"It's PAYDAY time fellas."

"It's a fucking heist."

"Nice."

"Bruh, this is literally the most safely guarded place in this entire country. How are we supposed to hit that?" Stacy asked since she knew intelligence about that building.

Nathan took a deep breath, "Ladies, calm your tits down and Gentlemen, I believe you should put your dicks back in your pants. Ok, this depository, a heavily guarded vault that kept more than one billion USD in gold," Nathan said as he opened the projector and explained it using his laptop.

"Holy crap. One billion?"

"Enough to fill our pockets lads."

"Slow down, I haven't finished yet. Let's observe the sour parts first," Nathan switched to the next slide and she showed images taken from a satellite.

"National Depository. Guarded by a special response team from SWAT and guarded by the nearest 25th Armored Batallion," Nathan said.

"Batallion? So we have tanks after us again? Holy shit. Well, we can use the Blackhawks to disable them," Lisa said as she nodded her head. Aiden and Shaddam also nodded their heads.

"Well, bad news. 12th Fighter Wing is at the nearby airport. They will clap yo ass in a minute," Nathan showed an image on an airport that was full of Mig-23, Mig-21, and Mig-25.

"It's cold war era fighter jets though? I can handle it easily," Patrick said since he had a Su-35S.

"Yeah, but you need a backup," Nathan said.

"From who?" Patrick asked.

"Herring promised me something, I'll meet him on Friday afternoon," Lynn said to Nathan.

"I see. Well, I think every air problem has been explained. Let's talk about the ground troops problem," Nathan showed a slide that shows the blueprint of the National Depository.

"The vault," Nathan showed them the specs of the vault.

A hundred square meter box that was walled with reinforced concrete and steel. It could withstand the blast from an ordinary bomb. The vault was using timelock so there would be no chance to rob the bank at a random time.

Fernando gave his opinion, "Can't we just shoot the vault with our tanks?"

"Might as well drop a bunker buster at that vault. Hell no, you'll break the gold by doing 5hat," Nathan said as he zoomed the blueprint out and replaced it with security details.

The depository vault could be opened only at the time when the security guards were on the highest alert. It was also the time when the armored battalion did their daily training. To make matters worse, the 12th Fighter Wing was scrambled for daily patrol on those hours.

"I get your point somehow. We can't go blitzkrieg on the depository. We must have a plan, is that correct?" Ryan commented.

"Yup, that's correct. But wait a minute, I haven't gone through the logistical problem yet," Nathan switched the slide to the details of the loot inside the vault itself.

Twenty four tonnes of gold bullion was stored inside that vault and the contractors had to move them all. To give you a perspective, you can't move that much bullion without an extraordinary tool. There wasn't any way of transporting it directly since the vault itself was located far enough from the main road.

"Aiden and I can carry four tonnes of that gold max, but where the heck we'll find an LZ?" Lisa protested.

"Ok, since I've explained all of the logistical problems. I'll explain the solution for each problem," Nathan said as he returned to the first slide where he explained the response team.

"Hitman 1 and Hitman 2. I'm afraid you have to leave your tanks since they don't give any significant advantage in this heist. You'll be on the ground with your boots," Nathan said.

Henry sighed, "looks like no boom boom for us," he poked Fernando's back.

"Yeah," Fernando said.

"We have fourteen personnel on the ground. Six of them must go here," Nathan jumped to another slide. It was another blueprint. It was the blueprint of the storm drain. Weirdly enough, the storm drain was located near the vault.

"Wait, are you telling me that the vault is accessible from underground?" Ryan asked.

"Yup, the storm drain can access the bank vault directly. The storm drain in this section is always dry, you don't have to worry about getting wet," Nathan said.

"And it also can fit a large ass drill. Well, what a coincidence isn't it?" Aline said as she looked at the height of the storm drain which was very huge.

The dimension of that storm drain was ten meters tall and twenty meters wide. In short, it would fit anything that could fit inside that storm drain. Not stopping there, the exit of that storm drain was around thirty kilometers away from the depository itself.

"Ok guys, coffee break. We'll continue this meeting later," Nathan called for a break and the contractors stood up from their chairs.
