126 Time To Move Out: Part 6

Wednesday, 22th of April 2021. 1900 Hours. Forward Operational Base Temporary Command Center.

"Is it full yet?" Laura asked Nathan who was sitting down on the floor, right beside the laptop that was plugged in.

"95%. Let's wait until it hit 100%. What do you have in mind?" Nathan asked.

"About this heist plan. Are you sure this is a good idea?" Laura asked as she sipped her coffee.

"Not the best idea I have in mind, but certainly not the worst idea either," Nathan said.

"One billion dollars and with such a simple plan, are you sure we are going to succeed?" Laura asked.

"You won't know unless you've tried. We haven't tried so we don't know. The risk is great, but the payment is also great," Nathan grabbed his laptop and the charger from the power outlet and returned to the meeting room where the contractors were waiting.

They had been waiting for Nathan's laptop to be filled with power, but it took too long that some of them even had finished a contract from a random source. Sixty percent of them were in their combat loadout albeit without the balaclava and the helm.

"It's a gang hideout as usual. I only got 200$ from that contract," Patrick said to Lynn.

"Well, we did the same contract, right? Of course, the payment will be the same," Lynn said to Patrick as Nathan sat down on his chair and started the meeting again.

Nathan turned on his laptop and connected it to the projector. It immediately showed the last slide which was the pilots of the Mil Mi-26 helicopter.

"Ok, what's next? Oh yeah, the ground troops above the ground. You need some extra protection," Nathan said as he showed them an image of the SWAT response team.

"I believe you have seen this before, SWAT team. You'll have to hold them off for hours so you need a good plan and a getaway vehicle," Nathan said as he showed an image of a car. It was an SUV as usual.

"Standard issue feds vehicle. It should do the job nicely for a getaway. You need to steal these cars, I'm not going to buy a car that can be traced back to us," Nathan said.

"SUV? Where we should get a fast SUV that is armored enough to resist any gunfire?" Alex asked.

"I'm glad that you ask. There's a dealer on the outskirts of the town. I want you to go there and steal two cars. The cars need to be an SUV, fast enough, and can carry enough weight since an applique armor will be added," Nathan said.

"Sounds like a good plan, I'm in," Aline said and he vouched for Alex for stealing the cars since he could hack into the keyless entry of the car and steal any car in that dealer.

"After you steal the cars. Immediately stash it on this location," Nathan showed a coordinate of an abandoned tunnel from an old government project that was failed to be realized. It was a tunnel for a highway, but it was never finished.

Nathan showed the next slide, it was a slide of loadout that the contractors would be using during the heist. It consisted of three weapons.

[Team A]

•FGM-148 Javelin

•H\u0026K 416A7

•Glock 18

[Team B]

•FIM-92 Stinger

•NEGEV NG-7 SF

•Glock 18

[Team C]

•MG 338

•HK416A7

•Glock 18

[Team D]

•Barrett M82A3

•GM-94

•MP7

"Team A and B will stay above ground to stall the police and the military response team. Team C and D will be underground to move the gold," Nathan explained that crazy plan.

"How many members of each team are there?" Vincent asked.

"For team A and B, four members each. Team C and D will have three members," Nathan answered.

"I see. Well, what's the job of each team?" Fernando asked.

"Team A and B job, in a nutshell, is to kill the response team above while team C and D move the gold," Nathan said.

"I see," Henry paused, "I believe the loaders of our tank will be placed on team C and D. Is that correct?" Henry asked.

"Yes, they are the most capable people to move the gold. Do you agree?" Nathan asked the crew.

"I fully agree with that statement. What do you think about it, Russell?" Vincent asked the other loader.

"Fair enough. Ok, let's move to a different topic. Why would the ground troops need a stinger when the helicopter and the jets will be guarding us in the sky?" Russell asked.

"For safety precautions. We can't guarantee that there won't be any helicopter that sneaks up behind our backs," Nathan said.

"I agree," Aurelia said.

"By the way, do you have any idea on how long this heist will take?" Clara asked.

"At least, it will take us three hours if everything went according to plan," Nathan said.

"I see. Well, are you sure you have listed all of the things that we need to have for the heist?" Laura asked.

"One more thing. You need a heavy truck to move the gold from the tunnel to the helicopter," Nathan showed another slide that contained a picture of a military truck that was capable of carrying five tonnes of stuff at once. It should be very useful.

"Where can we get a five-ton capable truck?" Lynn asked.

"Well, there's a lot of source for that truck. You can steal it, buy it, whatever you want, but make sure that you place it inside the storm drain," Nathan said as he closed his laptop and finished the presentation.

He sat down in his chair again and the contractors immediately stood up from their chairs. "Well then, farewell, see you next week at school, or maybe next day," Aveline said.

"Wait a minute, I haven't authorized you guys to leave yet. We still have a business to do, follow me," Nathan stood up from his chair and the contractors followed him from behind.
