144 Time To Move Out: Part 23

Monday, 5th of May 2021. Tunnel Construction site. 2300 Hours. Stacy and Ryan.

Both of them were waiting. Stacy was on her R6 sportbike with Ryan as the passenger. They were waiting in front of that construction site, they waited for the drill to be taken outside of the construction site.

Both of them were wearing a bulletproof helmet, a Crye Airframe helmet to be exact. They also wore the chops of that helmet with the combination of the ballistic visor. They wanted to highjack the truck when it was still driven by someone.

"Ok, get ready," The truck got out of the construction site without any escort. It would be an easy and risky job. Easy because there wouldn't be any gunshot involved.

The bike was hiding in an alleyway overlooking that construction site. They needed to tail that truck from behind until it reaches the highway. The highway was a very straight road so there wouldn't be any obstruction on their way.

"You will be jumping to the door of the truck. I will press the brake as hard as I can once you reached the door of the truck," Stacy said.

"And I'll be shooting the driver of the truck with my submachine gun, I got it," Ryan said as he prepared his concealed submachine gun.

Stacy tailed that truck from behind. They were worried that they would lose the weight of that truck. If the plan to attack the truck when it was in the middle of the road failed, they would have to attack the dock which had the same security as a naval base. They would need to conduct an airstrike into that naval base.

That plan was too risky and Nathan didn't give the green light for that plan. They really have to highjack that truck. There was also a failsafe for that plan. Saddam and Nathan only had to say Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo, and an emergency intercept team consisted of Lynn, Clara, Patrick, Shaddam, Aveline, and Laura would immediately come to intercept the truck with the help of Lisa's Blackhawk.

"Ok, the truck is going to enter the highway. Get ready," Stacy said as she turned the motorbike you the right direction and entered the highway. The truck started gaining some speed, but the motorbike was obviously faster than the truck.

Stacy positioned her motorbike right beside the truck door and Ryan made a stance to jump into that truck. Ryan grabbed the handle of the truck and he jumped to the door of that truck. He aimed his MP7 at the truck driver and shot him while he opened the door of that truck.

He threw the body of that driver away to that empty road and he drove the truck away. The highway was empty since the recent mass protest and ongoing civil war that hadn't been declared yet. Nevertheless, Ryan was on the driver seat now and he drove the truck into the storm drain.

Ryan: "X-ray to Kilo, truck highjacking successful. Moving to the rendezvous point."

Stacy: "Copy that X-ray, to intercept unit. Move to the storm drain."

Ryan drove that truck to the outskirts of the capital where they would be entering the storm drain tunnel. It was located sixty kilometers away from their position. Ryan hit the gas harder on that semi-trailer so he could arrive faster.

Tuesday, 6th of May 2021. Storm Drain Tunnel. 0100 Hours. Stacy, Ryan, and Interceptor team.

"That's good enough, to be honest. We'll be drilling into that bank vault in no time," Nathan said as he observed that drill.

The drill was big enough to drill a hole that was going to fit a trolley of gold bullion. The truck was parked in front of the storm drain tunnel and Ryan just has to drive through that tunnel.

"Ok, let's go," Nathan entered his Suburban and the other contractors also followed him inside the car.

Ryan drove the truck inside of the tunnel. The tunnel was big enough to fit the semi-trailer truck inside. Nathan followed the truck from behind. The tunnel was dimly lit, but nevertheless, Nathan would give him the exact position where they would stop.

It took them twenty minutes until Nathan told Ryan to stop the truck. The truck was stopped and the drill was unloaded from that truck. The area where the vault was located was marked by spray paint. Nathan painted that wall with spray paint.

"This is the place, let's unload the drill," Nathan said as the ramp of that semi-trailer was lowered so the drill could get down to the ground.

Ryan got inside that drill and he put the drill to the ground near the vault entrance. They would just leave the drill in that storm drain. They would scout the area where they put the helicopter down which was located on the other side of the storm drain.

Ryan got out of that drill and he entered Nathan's car. Nathan drove outside of the storm drain. On the other side of the storm drain. There was an airframe of the helicopter that wasn't assembled yet. There were some parts of that helicopter that were inside a container.

"What a beast, still, we haven't assembled it yet," Laura said.

"Well, some parts were broken during the transport process. We have to source some of the parts from the market in Armory System, but still, it's cheaper than buying the whole helicopter," Nathan said.

"Well, I hope this thing went operational soon since all we have to do is to assemble this helicopter and wait for the jets to thin out the emergency response team by a repetitive airstrike," Stacy said as she looked at the pilots.

"Well, our progress is 60%, there are still some targets left, but we are getting there, don't worry about it, just worry about transporting the gold," Lynn said.

"Well conducting an airstrike is exhausting," Patrick said.

"I see. Let's get back home," Nathan said.
