145 Time To Move Out: Part 24

Tuesday, 6th of May 2021. Garret High School Student Council Room. 1300 Hours. Nathan and Laura.

"I'm sick of being your dealer," Nathan smashed the table of that student council room.

"Well, the moment you accepted the drugs. You'll be our drug dealer," Brendon looked at Nathan who was standing right in front of Laura.

Brendon just smirked at Nathan, he thought that he had the upper hand with several armed gunmen with an assault rifle was enough to take care of Nathan. Nathan wasn't scared of it, he was more scared about the fact that the other students would know that he could resist 5.56 ammunition.

"You bastard, this is ridiculous. I'll call the police on you," Nathan smacked the table with his hands.

"Go ahead. My boss will take care of it," He smiled smugly as he saw Nathan who was enraged.

According to Ryan and Stacy's Intel, the dead body of the dealer in the toilet of the cartel belonged to the Ambrosia Cartel. It was the same cartel that the contractors attacked since they were involved with IS. It looked like they had another base of operation outside of the capital since the base of operation inside the capital was totally destroyed by the contractors' assault.

It was most likely that Brendon's boss was one of the higher-ups in the cartel. If the fact were true, Brendon could really inflict damage to Nathan, but not enough to kill him. The boss would regret attacking the 12-G/SDC since he would have full military force rolling to his doorstep. Nevertheless, they couldn't do it now. Brendon wasn't in a position to be blamed since he hadn't inflicted any damage on them.

"Very well then, I shall leave, forget about your offer," Nathan said as he stood up from the chair.

Laura followed from behind as one of the student council members with an assault rifle escorted them to the door. Both of them left that room while Nathan was biting on his finger. He didn't like the idea of having someone threatened him and his team.

Laura took notice of that, "What seems to be the problem?"

"I want to get him out of that council seat. A hostile takeover, nobody can protest either," Nathan said.

"How can you do a coup d etat on a student council?" Laura asked.

"Prove that he's a criminal and be done with it. It should be a piece of cake, but I don't want to be distracted, we have a heist to do," Nathan said.

"Yeah, we just need some trucks and a plane to move all of us out of here and I believe someone has prepared it right?" Nathan asked.

Laura grabbed her PDA from her school coat pocket. Nathan looked at her as her hands were put on the tactical rig behind that school coat.

"Don't. Look. At. My. Breast," Laura said as she pushed Nathan's eyes away from her body.

"I was looking at the PDA," Nathan gave his excuses.

"Excuses," Laura said as she looked at recent purchases.

"Gosh, C-5 Galaxy. Holy shit," Laura said as she put her PDA back into her school pocket.

"Well, it's expected, we're going to need one strategic airlift after all," Nathan said as he opened the door of that classroom and found that Patrick, Shaddam, Fernando, Alex, Aiden, and Vincent were playing cards on the back of the classroom.

"Alright, here comes the river," Patrick said as he put an ace on the floor of that class.

"Yes, I win, straight, 9-K," Alex showed his cards.

"Not so fast," Aiden showed his cards which were a flush.

"Well, I'm afraid, you're too busy flexing your cards," Fernando showed a full house of ace.

"Not that fast, I win, Royal flush," Patrick said as he showed his cards.

"Shit, I thought I'm going to be the winner," Shaddam showed his cards which were another straight flush.

They were betting on a bowl of instant noodles that was bought from the canteen. The one who won the hold em, get the instant noodle and Patrick immediately went to the table where the instant noodle was placed.

Nathan went to Patrick's direction and asked, "Should you be doing an airstrike?"

"Clara and Lynn are on it, don't worry. I usually do that at night," Patrick said as he took a string of that noodle.

"I see," Nathan packed his bag by putting the books that were in his table into his bag. Laura did the same and both of them left the classroom for sightseeing in the capital.

They would scout the depository while still using their school uniform so no one would suspect them as a bank robber or some sort of that. Laura spawned their car in a parking lot located right beside the school and they entered that car.

"I'm driving," Nathan said as he entered the driver seat of that suburban.

Nathan pressed the engine start button. He drove out of that parking lot and went to the capital where the depository was located.

Tuesday, 6th of May 2021. National Depository. 1400 Hours. Nathan and Laura.

Laura sat down on a bench located right in front of that depository. People were getting in and out of that building since its main purpose was also a bank beside a depository. The security on that bank was pretty lax. There was only one security guard in front of the door. If not for knowing the emergency response team, any stupid bank robber would immediately rob that bank and would only find out that tanks would be waiting for them in front of the bank. The bank was a skyscraper building. It was most likely to be an office building.

Nathan approached her from beside of that chair, he was bringing a bottle of flavored water in his hands. He was coming back from a nearby grocery store to buy something to drink while observing the bank from that bench.

"One guard, no more, no less. Lots of cover for the defender, it's not going to be hard if not for the tanks," Laura gave her report to Nathan.

"I see," Nathan put the bottle of flavored water inside of his bag.

Laura was holding a DSLR camera on her hands, she took a photo of that bank from outside of that bank. She knew that she wouldn't be able to take pictures inside the bank since it was a well-known regulation.

Nathan stood up from the bench, "Well, let's enter the bank," Nathan walked to the nearest zebra cross.

Laura held his hand and Nathan hold Laura's hand. They were acting like a couple so they wouldn't look out of place inside that bank.

The security guard opened the glass door of that bank and both of them entered the bank. The bank was huge, there was a lot of tellers and a lot of entrance. The entrance to the fault couldn't be seen since it was located deep underground, but they were looking for a place where they could take cover from incoming fire outside of the building.

"A lot of blind spots. Entering the bank during a shootout is a bloody bad idea," Laura commented as she saw multiple blind spots where a black spec-ops guy with an NVG could be hiding during the police assault.

"Well, what can I say? This is a bloody interior, we will be a fish in the barrel if we enter this bank," Nathan whispered on Laura's ear.

"I see, well, let's head back outside," Laura said as she walked back to the glass doors.

They got out of the bank and looked for a place where they could take cover. There were a lot of barriers that were made of concrete that could be used as a cover, but there were a lot of blind spots near the barriers.

"If any tank enters this park, we're fucked," Laura pointed at the park outside of the bank. She was serious when she said that since any armored vehicle entering that park could be a threat.

"Let's move to the place where we will be parking our getaway vehicle," Nathan walked to the corner of the bank while imagining how the shootout would be during the robbery.

The corner of the bank had a lot of spots for an ambush, especially if the rooftop wasn't observed by the Apache helicopter. It was also the safest place since there were only two ways to enter the alleyway of that bank.

That alleyway led to an entrance to the underground parking lot which connected the four skyscrapers on that office complex. In there, they could easily choose their getaway point since there weren't any restrictions as long as there wasn't any roadblock.

Hell, if there was any roadblock, the Apache would destroy the roadblock. Nathan looked around the car park and he saw the car that they would be using for the getaway.

"I hope this car can last long enough for us to escape," Laura said as she touched the suburban.

"I hope so."
