162 Main Base: Part 5

Tuesday, 25th of June 2021. Punta De Maisi, Cuba. 1500 Hours. Alex, Patrick, and Nathan.

A training camp. A place where the narcos were trained to be effective in combat. In that place, rifles and ammo were scattered almost everywhere. The contractors sneakily crawled on the ground with Alex scanning the surrounding area.

"Three tangoes," Alex said as he observed his tablet.

"Keep it quiet. Initiating radio silence," Nathan said.

The contractors crawled in the ground with their rifles in their hands. They were going to take down threw of the narcos at once with their tranquilizer rifle.

Nathan gave them a hand signal. 'Ready?' Patrick responded by nodding his head and he put his eyes at the holographic sight of that assault rifle.

Nathan raised his hand and the contractors shot a tranquilizer round at the narcos. Three of them immediately fell to the ground and the contractors immediately rushed to scan their bodies.

Those three were decent enough as the combat team. They were B rank combat personnel, but they hadn't found the jackpot yet since a training camp like that usually had a special trainer.

The special trainer could be originated from the special forces community which had the combat rank above A+ at the very least.

"Alex, do you find something?" Patrick asked as they walked in that forest. They tried not to step on any dry leaves since it made a lot of noise which could jeopardize their stealth operation.

"Look at the direction of 065°. There's an armory." Alex pointed his hand at another shack located in that forest. That shack was unusually bigger than the shack the cartel used as a drug lab. That shack had an ammo container in front of it and there were two guards in front of the door of that shack.

However, although there were only two guards visible. Alex tracked six signals coming from multiple directions. Most of the signals were coming from inside that warehouse. There were six dots in total.

"We won't be able to take them down one by one. Instead, Patrick, try to grab their attention will ya?" Nathan gave him an order which he had to comply with. Patrick agreed with that idea and sneakily crawled on the wet dirt on that forest.

He crawled so slowly. He waited for a guard to come to pass him so he could take him down. Slowly, footsteps were getting louder and louder as he crawled. The footsteps were coming from the guard that almost noticed Patrick in that area.

Patrick pointed the barrel of his assault rifle at one of the guards and fired his HK416. The guard's body dropped on the ground and made a very loud noise which attracted the attention of other cartels.

Nathan: "Engage."

"Alright. Let's scan these guys." Nathan grabbed the scanner from his tactical rig and he immediately scanned the narcos. The six narcos turned out to be a potential combat and maintenance staffs.

Patrick looked at the stats. He knew that the narcos were a potential maintenance staff since they were very hard-working people that could work under extreme pressure from their boss. Usually, their boss had a high standard for the combat team since these people would be the ones responsible for any action that could potentially damage the reputation of the Ambrosia cartel.

"Alright, nice, let's move from here," Nathan said as they headed deeper into the forest.

The forest's vegetation got thicker and thicker. It felt as if they were heading into the depths of a cave. It was hard to see and the fact that the clock had shown [15:40] didn't make anything better. If the sky got darker, they had to camp in the forest which the contractors had no interest to do that thing.

"Look, that's the jefe's house." Alex pointed his finger at a structure located inside the forest.

It was a small house with a lot of people guarding it. Judging by a large number of guards, Nathan had a general perspective that the house was the location of the regional boss in that area. Nathan just had to confront him and he would get a fair share of intelligence.

"How are we supposed to do this stealthy?" Alex asked as he counted the blips on his radar. There were sixteen blips in total on Alex's scanner. They were most likely to be the guards and the boss himself.

"Well, distractions. A lot of them." Nathan looked at Patrick and Patrick simply responded with a nod.

"Start shooting, get their attention, and get out? The plan sounds simple, to be honest," Patrick said before he ran to the direction of that house alone without anyone following him from behind. He immediately opened fire with his assault rifle that was equipped with a poison needle/tranquilizer round.

"Alright, Patrick has done his job nicely," Nathan commented as Patrick was shooting as screaming at the guards that were shooting at him. He really caught their attention although Patrick was very hard to be seen due to his camouflage.

Nathan aimed his rifle at the house entrance as the other guards were running after Patrick.

Patrick: "Go get the jefe!"

"You hear what he said. Let's go," Nathan said.

Alex and Nathan came out of their hiding place and approached the building. Nathan scanned that there were six life forms on that house. One of those six life forms could be the boss that they were looking for. Nathan also had a good feeling that the member of the special force that trained the narcos was there.

Nathan kicked in the white door of that house and threw a flashbang inside of it. The flashbang produced a very large sound and the contractors began storming the house.

"Tango, 12 o'clock," Nathan shouted.

[Focus]. Nathan shot three guards at once thanks to his skill and the only one left was the special operator and the boss himself. They only needed to find him which was an easy job thanks to Alex's gadget.

They walked on that house. That house was very well furnished considering that it was located in a forest in the middle of nowhere.

A coffee maker was on the table, there was a satellite TV, a fridge, and a generator. That place was very well equipped in terms of quality of life.

Alex found that two blips were hiding right behind the wardrobe on that house. Nathan immediately rushed to the wardrobe and threw a flash and inside of it.

The bang that Nathan threw wasn't an ordinary flashbang. It was a 9-banger that would explode nine times while producing a very deafening noise. The flashbang exploded nine times and Nathan opened the door just to find out that both the boss and the operator was unconscious thanks to the fact that flashbang put them out of commission.

Nathan scanned the body of that jefe and found out that he was a good R\u0026D team member since he had a very good stay according to the scanner.

"Wow, this guy used to be an ordinary engineer." Alex scanned the boss' body and he vanished into the thin air as they finished their scanning.

Patrick: "I'm running low on Ammo now. Can I exfiltrate first?"

Nathan: "Sure, we have completed our objective after all."

Patrick: "Patrick out."

Nathan was scanning the special operator stats. It was very decent and the stats were very decent considering his original as a spec-op.

After they had finished scanning the bodies of the narcos. They must exfiltrate out of that house since the guards could be coming back from chasing a ghost. Patrick had returned back to the main base since it was one of his emergency ticket cards.

Nathan rushed outside of that house while hitting some of the bushes with his feet. "C'mon, they aren't allowed to notice our presence," Nathan said.

Both of them kept running as the guards were screaming in anger, knowing that their favorite role model had died. Nathan and Alex ran away until they got to almost six kilometers away from that drug lab. Nathan grabbed his PDA and he saw the map. There weren't any hostiles nor in pursuit of them. Their mission was successful. All they had to do was to return to the base. Nathan grabbed his PDA and he immediately disappeared in thin air. Alex did the same too and they immediately vanished from that place.
