161 Main Base: Part 4

Tuesday, 25th of June 2021. Fifty kilometers offshore of Punta De Maisi, Cuba. 1300 Hours. Alex, Patrick, and Nathan.

Three people were sitting down in the osprey. The plane refueled at an F-15 equipped with a refueling kit that Clara piloted with Lynn. They were only fifty kilometers outside of Cuban borders

"Refueling is complete. Have a safe flight. I'll return to base." The plane moved away from that Osprey and they returned to the main base.

Patrick and the others were preparing themselves to jump from that osprey. The Cuban government wouldn't like an Osprey appearing from the middle of nowhere from their radars. Patrick and the others had to enter Cuba stealthy. Luckily, there was a way to do that.

"Listen, after we jump. We have to open our parachute immediately. Patrick will do the guidance," Nathan said.

Nathan had stood up from his seat on the plane. The backdoor had been opened by the pilot. They only had to jump to Cuba and made sure that they were undetected by the radars.

"Copy that team leader," Patrick said.

"Alex, if you can, make sure to scan for any electronic device when we land," Nathan said.

"Copy that." Alex was fiddling with his rugged tablet. He was looking for a program that could easily track any electrical signal. The screen on his tablet turned into many circles similar to a radar.

"Greenlight is on. See you back at MB." Patrick jumped first from that high altitude and he immediately opened his parachute.

Nathan followed shortly and Alex jumped the last. The breeze of cold winds of high altitude immediately blower their faces. If not for the tactical goggles that they wore, their eyes would have frozen. Patrick looked at his wrist computer that showed their position. They were still on top of the blue seas. They hadn't made it to the Cuban border yet.

"Fourth kilometers left," Patrick said with a static voice. The radio was a bit unclear since the range between them was quite far.

"Copy that," Nathan said.

Forty minutes after that, they finally landed in the middle of a forest inside of Cuban territory. They hid their parachute by digging a hole inside the ground and buried their parachute.

Alex looked at his tablet and immediately saw three dots on the tablet. They were most likely to be hostile, but Alex doubted that they were looking for them.

"Three tangos," Alex said.

"Ok, initiate radio silence. Remember that we're here to capture them, not kill them. Stay stealthy." Nathan put his finger in front of his mouth and shushed them.

Nathan gave a hand signal. They immediately moved to the direction of the hostiles. The contractors were wearing woodland camouflage that had been covered with lots of leaves to hide. They painted their face with woodland paint so they became hard to be seen.

The contractors walked around that hostile while marking the hostile on the map. The other hostiles were the same more or less. All of them were equipped with the same AK.

Nathan coordinated the contractors to take them down at once. Nathan aimed his rifle at their heads. Nathan gave a command and all of them shot one tranquilizer round at each hostile.

"Tango down." Patrick walked slowly to the hostile. He grabbed his scanner and scan one of the unconscious narcos. It immediately showed their skill.

[Combat: F]

[Medic: B]

[Engineering/R\u0026D: F]

[Logistics: E]

[Intelligence: F]

[Maintenance/Production: A]

The body disappeared into the thin air and Patrick heard a notification from a sexy voice on his headset. It was a notification about the soldier that he had just scanned.

[A staff has been added]

"What did you get?" Nathan approached Patrick from behind.

"Maintenance staff. How about you?" Patrick asked.

"Combat staff. Alex got an intelligence gatherer," Nathan said.

They continued their journey to the forest. They moved slowly, they kept an eye on Alex's tablet since it was the only reliable source of detection besides human eyes. The smell of the air on that forest was similar to the smell of drugs. It's expected that there would be a hidden drug lab.

"The smell..." Nathan sniffed.

"Yes, the smell..." Patrick said.

"The smell of Aline's room," Alex said.

The forest smelled like a drug lab. The narcos didn't even bother to hide the smell of their drugs from the authorities. They should have realized that any smoke in the middle of a forest was never a good idea.

That could be a forest fire or a drug lab. Either way, those two could attract unwanted attention, attention wasn't something that a cartel would like to have.

"Stop." Nathan pointed his hands at a small shack located in the middle of that forest. There was smoke coming out from the shack and the smell of drugs in that shack was quite pungent.

There were four guards guarding the perimeter. They were very vigilant in their surrounding. If not for the heavy amount of camouflage that the contractors wore, they would have been spotted.

"Coordinated attack. Alex, you take the one on the left. Patrick, you take the one on the right and front. I'll take the one behind the shack." The contractors lowered their stance by crawling on the ground to avoid detection.

Patrick crawled to the right direction of that shack. He aimed his rifle at the guards and waited for Nathan's command.

"Shoot."

Patrick pulled the trigger on his HK416 and one dart flew to the direction on one of the narco's heads. Patrick pulled the trigger again and fired another dart at the narco.

"Tango down. Prepare to breach," Nathan said.

The contractors surrounded that house from all sides. Patrick covered the backside while Nathan and Alex covered the front door of that shack. Alex began to hack into the narcos' phone and ring an alarm as a distraction.

"Breach!" Nathan kicked the door of that shack and aimed his rifle at the people inside of the shack.

"[Focus]."

Nathan took six people at once with his rifle before they had the time to react. Patrick jumped into a window of that shack and shot his rifle at one narco.

Nathan wore his gas mask since the air in that shack was quite toxic. Patrick also wore his gas mask and Alex did the same too. It turned out that one of the beaker glass fell to the ground and release the pungent smell to the air surrounding it.

It felt as if someone just threw a bucket bleach at the whole shack. The smell was quite annoying and poisonous. "How many cokes do they produce each day?"

There were six bags of cocaine in the table of that shack. It was located right beside the place where they cooked it. The cocaine was ready to be shipped. There was also a logo on the plastic that protected the coke. It was a very familiar logo. Ambrosia cartel was the one behind all of that drug operation.

"An old friend eh." Nathan started scanning one of the bodies and the other contractors did the same thing. They scanned the bodies of those unconscious narcos and the bodies disappeared into thin air.

[Seven new staffs have been added]

[Medical Team has reached LV.2]

"Well, it looks like all of them were either a chemist or a drug manufacturer," Nathan commented.

"Yup, they must have that kind of occupation," Patrick said as he looked at the lab coat around that shack.

"Let's move out. Our Intel said that this is not their main operation network. Let's head deeper into the forest," Nathan said.

The contractors left that shack and entered the dense jungle again. They needed to find something else. They were hoping that they could find R\u0026D staffs since they were the one who was responsible for the development of more effective weaponry for the contractors.

"You should go to a place where there's a submarine base, Nathan," Patrick said.

"Why?"

"Because that's where the engineers are located. This kind of base will only contain maintenance personnel," Patrick said.

"I know, but this base has the most labs around the entire region and we also need to manufacture our own drugs," Nathan said.

"I see." Patrick continued walking on that forest as they were heading to another narcotics lab.

Alex found another source of activity. He saw another dot on their northwest side. In the direction of 290°, there was a hostile lurking around. The closer they got to that hostile, the stronger the signal became. The guard was an ordinary guard.

"Down." Alex shot his rifle at that guard and he immediately went unconscious.

"Patrick, it looks like we just have a jackpot." Nathan looked at one direction as Patrick scanned that unconscious guard.

"What?" Patrick approached Nathan and he saw what Nathan saw. "A training camp? This is going to be great."
