182 Why I Became A Contractor: Part 20

Charlie was dropped at a hill near the mansion that Sissy owned. She acted as the whole team lookout. She held a Barrett M82A3 in her hands as she walked to the hill overlooking the whole mansion. Besides the rifle, she also brought a big laser designator.

"If you see anything dangerous. Mark is using the designator!" Echo said.

"Okie Dokie." Charlie walked into the greenery with the rifle on her back. He also carried the huge laser designator in his left hand.

There was a loud noise coming from the sky. It was the MQ-9 drone that was lent to us to give Sissy a scary treatment, courtesy of the contractors. Echo parked the car two blocks away from the mansion.

The main reason why he parked the car that far from the mansion was that he was waiting for Charlie to reach the top of the hill and start marking the high-value target with the laser designator.

Sierra looked at his laptop. The security cam detected a very bright white light coming from one direction which was the direction of the hill. Sierra told Echo to look at the mansion.

He said, "You'll see the fireworks in 5...4...3...2...1..." A huge explosion appeared on the top of the mansion.

Drone Operator: "Pickle."

Echo hit the gas of the car as hard as he could and he drove through the gate of the mansion. I opened the hatch for the minigun turret and pushed the minigun into the roof of that car.

I pulled the trigger of that minigun and the electric motor of that rotary cannon started spinning. Bullets started flying into the mansion. Dozens of bodies started flying outside of that house.

The one who was behind a cover was immediately killed due to the cover being destroyed by the sheer amount of fire coming from the minigun itself. Echo stepped out of the car and shot his M249 at the bushes.

Two bodies fell off from the bushes. They were snipers that were situated to take care of any hostiles. Echo moved to the inside of the mansion. Sierra poked my legs.

He said, "Lima, let's move out. Our target is inside. Let the predator drone does its work with the help of our marksman."

I got out of the car with the MG5 in my hands. Sierra walked out with an M240B in his hands. Both of us were using heavy machine guns that could penetrate any thin layer of cover.

Charlie: "Be careful. I see the RPG team on the left side of the building."

Two people appeared right in front of us and one of them was carrying an RPG-7. Just before he pulled the trigger, and AGM-114 Hellfire missile was fired at those two. Both of them caught in the explosion and blasted into smaller pieces and a cloud of red blood.

The door had been opened by Echo. He used C4 charges to blow up the door because he didn't have time to lockpick it. "You go first." I waited on the door as Sierra walked inside of that huge mansion first.

The building itself was separated into three parts from the place where they were standing. If one chose to go straight forward, one would end up in the kitchen and the backyard. If one chose to go to the left, one would find a luxurious living room, six bedrooms, a stair, and a bathroom. The layout in the right direction was the same except for the lack of stairs.

"Sierra, I'll take the left direction. You go clean the courtyard from the hostiles." I ran to the left direction and Sierra left for the kitchen. Gunshots could immediately be heard once Sierra entered the kitchen.

I ran with the big machine gun in my hand and suddenly, a door was opened from the inside and a gunman was shooting from the back of the door. I reacted as fast as I could and pull the trigger of my machine gun.

Dozens of bullets flew in the direction of that hostile and blew his body off. That was the security guard that was hired by Sissy's family. I went from one room to another and started clearing it one by one.

The step of clearing a room was single. First of all, you have to throw a flash any inside of that room and wait for it to explode. Second, you kicked the door and activate [Focus] while searching for hostile. You pulled the trigger and the hostile would be gone.

There were seven rooms in that entire left section that must be cleared by me. Luckily, the bodyguards in Sissy's house were quite straightforward. They didn't even bother to hide inside of the wardrobe. They just waited behind the door hinge and waited for unsuspecting prey.

However, I wasn't an unsuspecting prey, I was a gunman who was eager to kill anyone on her way. I kicked on the door of a room and a guard was hiding behind the door.

The door hit him right in the nose and it bleeds. I shot my MG5 at him and he fell to the ground. He was dead and I had to continue my journey to the second floor. I was pretty sure that Sissy was hiding on the top floor.

Charlie: "Guys, you better be quick. I see three cars coming in your direction."

Echo: "Just three?"

Charlie: "Well, six. Stay vigilant."

An explosion could be heard from outside of that mansion. Charlie must have marked another target with her target designator. The first floor had been cleared and I still hadn't found a sign of Sissy.

She must be on the second floor, hiding somewhere in the wardrobe or among the beds. "Well, guess what, I accidentally killed her mother," Echo said from the radio.

"That's a martial law right there. You have broken the Geneva convention," Sierra replied.

"More like Geneva suggestion to me. C'mon, let's end this once and for all." I ran upstairs and I noticed Echo was on the other side of the building.

I started kicking the doors of the rooms inside of that mansion. Most of them were either empty or be filled by random security personnel. Nevertheless, I still hadn't found the target that I had been looking for a while.

"SISSY, COME OUT!" I shouted.

Of course, there would be no response from her. Sissy might be an idiot, but she wasn't that big kind of idiot. I kept searching for those rooms in that mansion.

There was one room in particular that caught my attention. This room was well furnished with student's things and it resembled a girl's room. I needed to find where Sissy was hiding.

There was this wardrobe that was enough to hide a person. I aimed my M240L at that wardrobe and opened it. There wasn't anyone there. Sissy wasn't hiding inside of that wardrobe, she must be hiding somewhere else.

I opened the bathroom inside of that room. The shower curtain was closed. I also saw a silhouette behind that shower curtain. This was it, Sissy was hiding behind this shower curtain. There were only ten bullets left in the machine gun. I fired three of them to that shower curtain and opened it.

It turned out that the silhouette was coming from one shower itself and there was no one to be found there. I went outside of that bathroom and looked for another place where she could be hiding.

Echo opened the door of that room and noticed that I was busy looking for her. "Damn, she's smart." I scratched my head as I peeked below the bed. Echo also had no idea where Sissy could be hiding. All they could do was looking for any suspicious object.

"Shit, she's gone. Charlie, this is Echo, did you see any possible target getting out of this building?" Echo asked.

"Nope. Charlie out."

Echo just waited on the bed. Their only hope was Sierra that could trace any electronic signature that came from any electrical appliances.

Sierra opened the door with a tablet in his hand. "What are you doing? Kill her!" Sierra shouted.

"Well, for starter, she is not here," I said.

Sierra showed his tablet and something was hiding behind a wall. It was most likely to be a phone. Sissy must have been hiding behind the wall. The contractors only needed to find her and I would be very happy. Echo pulled a slab of explosive from his tactical rig.

Echo placed a block of C4 on the wall that Sierra pointed at. The block was stuck on the wall and Echo told everyone to take cover and closed their ears. Echo took cover behind a wall and he pressed the detonator.
