Chapter 32: Is she okay

Jett‟s Point a view Amelia started shifting around; I thought that it was because we had been sitting in the same spot for Lord knows how long. We were having fun. Then she stood up, I looked at her confused.

Did she want me to leave? She looked as white as a sheet. "Amelia?" I asked genuinely concerned She didn't answer and I saw sweat roll of her face and her eyes had glazed over and then she started to whimper like she was in pain.

She started to tip over and I rushed and grabbed her, lowering her to the floor. I was straddling her, trying to make sure that she was ok. I heard the front door open and saw a blonde man walk in. He couldn't have been that much older than me or Amelia, and he looked pissed.

I pulled up in the driveway, I noticed that Amelia was home. That made me so happy. I had missed her today. Then I noticed that there was another car. Amelia must have a friend over, I thought. I walked into the house and all I could hear was a man calling Amelia‟s name over and over again. I froze. It didn't sound like they were just having tea and crackers.

I leave the house for one day and she is already sleeping with another man. I wondered how stupid must look. I grabbed my keys and practically ran out of the house.

Hurt and humiliation shrouded around me. I never thought that Amelia would betray me. I loved her more than anything, I put my hand on the ring box that I had in my pocket and felt my heartbreak. She lied when she said that she loved me. I took off in my car and drove. I just had to getaway.

Jett‟s Point a view

I looked in amazement as the blonde guy stormed out of the house. What was his problem? I needed help. I grabbed my mobile out of my pocket and called for an ambulance. I was on the phone when Amelia started shaking and convulsing, her eyes had rolled back into her head. Thank Lord I remembered my first aid training.

It took the ambulance about ten minutes to get to Amelia‟s house. I got in my car to follow her when an older woman pulled up and jumped out the car, I recognized her at Helen Smith, Amelia‟ mom. "Ms. Smith!" I called out. "Jett? What are you doing here? What is going on? Why was there an ambulance? Is it Amelia? Is it the triplet‟s?" I could tell that she was freaking out big time.

"I was over talking to Amelia when she got very sick. They wouldn't let me ride in the ambulance because I wasn't family. I was going to follow in the car. They are going to Mercy Hospital do you want me to give you a lift?" She looked pale and shaken, but nodded her head and got into the car. I pulled out the driveway and managed to get to the hospital in record time.

We both walked up to the reception desk, well Helen ran and I followed her. "I am looking for my daughter, she just came in an ambulance, her mane is Amelia Smith, or I guess you might have it is Amelia Smith," she said in a frantic voice The receptionist nodded her head and started typing on her keyboard.

"Mrs. Smith?" she asked "Yes, where is she? Is she ok?" "It seems that she is in emergency surgery right now if you want to wait I can let you know when she comes out.

I can then get the doctor for you." She said kindly. "Yes, please, thanks so much" I led her back to the waiting room and went in search of coffee and food for the both of us.
