Without wasting even a single second, Shane sprang through the Portal hall. He utilized the regulation ability of his title to absorb the mana in his surroundings so as to not leave a single particle.
Only after taking a look around, did he notice that he was once again inside the Giant Fluare-plain.
'That should be the best...probably?' He told himself as he accelerated his speed once again and searched for the shelter gate to leave the shelter.
With his current mana absorption due to the world seed, nobody except him would be able to use the shelter to absorb mana for cultivation purposes.
As such, he wanted to use a relatively safe dimension where he could even leave the shelter and walk further away without being attacked for quite some time.
This was probably necessary to prevent attracting too much attention from the shelter's citizens, other humans that were on their way to cultivate or out to hunt beasts.
It was not the perfect solution because there still might be other people who would notice him or beasts who would get attracted by his world seed's massive mana absorption.
Suddenly, he was reminded of something he had almost completely forgotten, which caused him to turn around.
Running back to the Dimension-Portal, he chose a different dimension and appeared in a gloomy, run-down shelter with large raindrops splashing his face.
With a faint smile on his lips, Shane couldn't help but utter in a faint whisper,
"Perfect!"
As he walked inside the Soul-Onyx-Jungle dimension that nobody really used to cultivate or absorb mana, Shane thought that he had found the perfect shelter. He believed that he could lay low inside a room while letting his world seed absorb the surrounding mana, without disturbing anyone.
If he were to report his plan to the shelter captain, there shouldn't be a problem and he would be able to cultivate and refine his body without the need to leave the shelter.
The only issue was that he was forbidden from entering a building in the meantime because it would hinder the majority of mana particles from approaching him.
It was unfortunate that mana particles couldn't normally penetrate the walls or glass windows, but that was only a small issue.
While walking towards the shelter hall without hiding the world seed's mana absorption, he skimmed through the Primordial Shops to search for a suitable item to cultivate in the open while enduring the strong wind gusts.
Shane also ignored the few guards who rushed towards him when they felt every single mana particle in their surroundings floating towards a single person.
Seeing that it was only a human, they couldn't help but feel suspicious. They decided to follow him quietly without trying to scare him away as it could lead to a more devastating scenario.
To them, Shane was considered no less than a terrorist trying to destroy the Black-soul shelter. Thus they had to nab him without causing a commotion they had to act carefully.
The guards called the shelter captain without hesitation and updated him about their predicament in a few short sentences. They further added that Shane seemed to be on the way towards the Shelter-hall.
'A water-proof and wind-proof tent should probably work as long as it's only made out of thin fiber and lets oxygen through...With that, I could hopefully do everything I want unhindered and without any further issues!'
Having found what he needed, Shane smiled brightly before he purchased a [Tier-1 (Common)] water- and wind-proof tent for 5 gold coins.
The transfer fees increased its price further but that was nothing he had to worry about.
With the water-proof and wind-proof tent appearing inside his spatial ring, Shane only had to talk to the shelter captain before he could finally enter his first, longer solitary cultivation period.
In solitary cultivation, one would just focus on cultivating and refining one's body for a certain period in order to become stronger.
If he wanted to enter the peak-Apprentice stage in both cultivation and body refining, being alone without anyone bothering him was the best that could happen to him.
As such, he took brisk steps and quickly walked towards the shelter hall. He realized albeit late that more than a dozen pairs of eyes had been following every single move of his. He found it suspicious which caused doubt to arise within him.
'Do they want to rob me?' He asked himself first before disregarding this thought as he shook his head.
Their gaze didn't seem hostile but rather hesitant and careful, almost terrified of him, which made Shane uncomfortable.
Thus, instead of running away, he turned around to see what was going on behind him, only to see more than a dozen guards following him quietly.
Seeing that the suspicious target had turned around, the guards pretended to look around and started to talk with each other as if nothing happened.
Smiling lightly he finally realized what the problem might be. Shane couldn't help but think that he should have informed the shelter captain first before anything else.
Sighing, he approached the guards slowly before saying,
"It seems that all of you have been following me for quite some time now. Can someone tell me where the shelter captain is currently? I need to inform him something!"
The guards were taken by surprise when Shane began talking to them in a gentle voice, while his eyes didn't radiate any anger or ill-intentions.
Furthermore, he didn't wear a mask or something like that which meant that he didn't think that it was necessary to disguise himself. His cultivation rank was also negligible for the peak-Expert stage guards.
Only his confidence and astronomical mana absorption were suspicious to them. This led the guards to think that Shane had a huge mana-bomb with him which could absorb mana from its surroundings and detonate once it was completely filled.
This caused the guards to feel afraid of Shane. They had never faced a similar situation before inside the Black-soul shelter, let alone a terrorist attack.
One of the guards was about to speak when he saw something behind Shane which caused him to point at it with his finger,
"O-our shelter captain is behind you."
Turning around, he saw a tall, middle-aged man with a brown beard looking at him suspiciously.
Without wasting time, Shane introduced himself and roughly explained what was going on.
"Hello Sir, my name is Shane Suro and I entered the Black Soul shelter to absorb mana without distracting too many citizens from breaking through or absorbing mana.
My current situation is a little special and unusual as everyone here might have noticed. I was about to report my arrival at the shelter hall.
Unfortunately, it seems that I was too late and I may have already caused a ruckus…"
Hearing Shane caused the guards behind him to sigh in relief, while the bearded shelter captain continued to look at him in suspicion.
"Do you have anyone who can corroborate your words? Otherwise, I'm afraid, I can't let you move around freely in the shelter. At least, as long as your mana absorption is as astronomical as it currently is!"
Nodding his head, Shane first showed the shelter captain and guards that he could manage and control the mana absorption at will by using the regulation ability of his title.
This was something a mana-bomb couldn't do because it would absorb all mana in its surroundings without leaving a single mana particle.
When the shelter guard noticed that Shane could regulate the mana absorption easily, it had the exact opposite effect. Instead of feeling relieved, his suspicion increased further as he eyed Shane apprehensively.
He was not a potential terrorist anymore. The shelter captain now considered him as a mutant of the human race.
Seeing that the shelter captain was now even more suspicious about him, Shane sighed deeply before he decided to call Aunt Kia via a holographic projection.
Immediately after she accepted the call, one could hear her shouting "What trouble did you already cause, SHANE?!"
