Looking at the holographic projection, Shane couldn't help but scratch the back of his head as he awkwardly said
"I didn't create any trouble per se….It's just a misunderstanding."
Trying to wriggle out of the mess he created, Shane explained everything in a single breath before he pointed at the shelter captain.
"Can you explain my situation to him? Otherwise, I have to leave the shelter to cultivate somewhere inside the Dimensions…"
Listening to Shane's explanation, Kia noticed that the whole situation was truly unfortunate and only a misunderstanding.
She directed her attention towards the shelter captain, she saw a bearded, middle-aged man standing with a longsword in his hand, at the ready.
"Hello Sir, My name is Kia Mel, principal of the Shirai Academy and vice-chancellor of the Stella-federation! Please don't act in haste and let me explain everything after you verify my identity, alright?"
Hort, the bearded, middle-aged man could barely make out the outlines seen on the holographic projection because of the heavy rain, but he thought that the voice was extremely familiar to him.
Lowering his guard slightly, he approached Shane, and only when the holographic projection was clearly visible, Hort sheathed his weapon.
Changing into a military stance, he immediately asked,
"Ms. Mel, how may I be of service?"
Smiling lightly, Kia replied
"I sent over the proof of my identity as Kia Mel right now. Now that you know who I am, I hope you can take my words as proof for this young man's complicated situation."
"Naturally Ms!" Hort said, trying to suppress his frustrated expression as he looked at Shane who was still extremely calm, smiling lightly at the holographic projection.
'He is not her son, right? Isn't Ms. Mel unmarried?!'
Hort was already considered old for someone who was still in the Basic Dimensions, however, he was still trying to reach a higher mana purity to be at par with the high Idols.
One of them was Kia Mel, with whom he was talking right now. This meant the youth who had made this happen was special enough to directly contact her.
Looking at Shane, whose mana absorption was frighteningly high, Hort couldn't help but think that he should probably hurry up and solve his next mission to reach a higher mana purity and ascend soon.
After Kia explained Shane's situation without really revealing anything about his world seed, which she labeled as a unique situation, Black soul's shelter captain nodded his head. He accepted everything Kia said without even trying to figure out if her words were true or completely made up.
Shane couldn't suppress a faint smile when he saw this. After a short while, everything was settled and Shane was allowed to remain inside the Black soul shelter as long as he wanted to.
At least, if he didn't cause any trouble, which was the shelter captain's only condition.
This was not a big demand and Shane agreed to it without hesitation.
Hanging up the call with his aunt, he immediately searched for a good place to stay for the next few weeks.
Once he found a flat roof in the central area of the shelter, Shane asked the building owner if he could use it in exchange for a few gold coins.
The building owner was not sure what was going on, but seeing the gold coins in Shane's hands he simply agreed without thinking about it any longer.
Setting up the tent on the rooftop, Shane went inside it to check if he could absorb the mana particles through the extremely thin fiber the tent was made of.
Fortunately, his plan worked and he sighed in relief before placing a basin inside the tent.
Pondering whether he should start purifying his mana or refining his body first, Shane recalled that he could also do both alternately.
Smiling lightly, he opened his pores and greedily absorbed the mana particles in his surroundings that were already drawn to him due to the world seed.
'Let's reach the peak-Apprentice stage as soon as possible!'
**
Stretching his body, Shane could help but feel that everything felt stiff as he stood up.
'Ugh...I'll never do something like that ever again!' He grumbled, trying to wipe away the wet hair from his face to see something.
Only a month had passed but Shane felt as if it took longer.
There was one small issue that he hadn't considered in his calculation which had something to do with his body refining.
If he wanted to refine his body, not only did he have to enter the basin naked to allow the nutritions to enter his body under the best possible conditions, but he would also have to leave the basin while being wet.
It was not unbearable but drying his body inside the tent, while a rainstorm was ravaging outside was a little uncomfortable. He shivered a bit when he felt a cold gust brushing past his tent every now and then.
Shane felt extremely cold for the first few days before he decided to purchase a small heater.
This heater was comparable to a blessing in Shane's opinion and it was the first time that he was happy to have purchased something for his comfort from the system.
Other than the coldness that seeped through the tent due to the continuous downpour, there were no issues. Shane was only slightly sad that he had never entered the mysterious [Zone] state in the tent as he did every single time he cultivated inside the tranquil forest.
However, that couldn't be considered a problem and he thought that his cultivation still progressed relatively fast.
On the 12th Day of his solitary cultivation, Shane's mana purity had reached [28%] and he had broken through 4 times during the following week to enter the 10th Apprentice stage of his cultivation rank.
Cultivating for 12 hours each day made this feat possible. Other than cultivation, Shane ate only one big, nutritious meal before he switched to refining his body to attain the physical standards of a 10th Apprentice stage after the 23rd Day of his solitary cultivation.
Now that he had reached the peak of the apprentice stage, Shane couldn't help but feel satisfied with himself.
Furthermore, his world seed had absorbed an astronomical amount of mana during the last 23 days, allowing Shane to remain inside the Primordial Dimensions for at least another 20 days, probably even more.
This was good to know, but now, he had to figure out what he could do in the next 20 days to improve himself further.
Neither could he start refining his Expert physique nor was he supposed to purify his mana further. otherwise, he might be disqualified from applying to the [Tier-1 (Mythic)] mission which would allow him to attain a perfect Apprentice physique.
If he were to be disqualified from having a perfect foundation before compressing his first drop of mana, without a valid reason like being too weak to defeat a certain opponent or something similar, Shane would hate himself way too much.
As such, instead of cultivating, for now, he could also practice his new [Slaughterer's Path] technique properly and increase his proficiency with it. Or he could try to find other ways to improve his combat prowess to be perfectly prepared for the next mission.
'What else is there that I can improve? I have an extremely strong martial art technique and a perfect mortal physique which makes me stronger than the average peak-Apprentice...Wait...is that even true? What about their occupation?'
Suddenly he remembered that occupations exist which caused him a great headache. He suddenly recalled the mysterious, name and gradeless occupation which was revealed when he soul bound the world seed!
