Shane was ready to test how strong his completely refined physique was when he received a message from the Elus race's princess, Ilya.
He hadn't heard from her for more than a year and was not sure what she wanted from him now.
[Hey Shane, did you already forget what you've promised me? Are you free to enter the dungeon with me now?]
'Dungeon…? DUNGEON!!' He just remembered what Princess Ilya had told him on his 17th birthday, and it was as if a thunder strike had crushed his skull as he slapped his forehead.
"Ouch…"
It was not that he'd hit himself with force, but even a light slap hurt him.
That astonished him a little bit and Shane began to doubt the strength of his physique.
He knew that Aisha had a perfect Expert physique, but she had never told him that the difference of a complete perfect expert physique was a huge gap compared to a physique that was almost perfection.
However, Shane hadn't taken Aisha's two flawed physiques into consideration, which decreased her performance by a large margin.
Shane was not sure what he could compare his state to, but, in the end, he was a complete version, while everyone else with a flawed physique.
Even if others had three, two, or one flawed parts, it was not complete and thus they couldn't exhibit their entire strength.
Understanding this allowed Shane to realise just how overpowered he had become when compared to others.
But instead of spending time focusing on his current physical strength, he grew curious about the dungeon Ilya was talking about. He assumed it to be a different one and not the one inside the radiant mountain ring dimension.
[I'm up for it, as long as it's not the dungeon inside the radiant mountain ring dimension! But I have only time for...around three months? Could be more, but also less.]
Shane didn't intend to hide anything, and he had wanted to enter the dungeon the Miac alliance had made public a few months earlier.
However, since then, many things had changed, and it was an open secret why the Miac alliance had allowed everyone to enter the dungeon inside the radiant mount ring dimension!
They required sacrifices!
It was as simple as that. The Miac alliance had already cleared the first few floors without leaving anything behind, only to face an obstacle at a floor.
The entry to this particular floor was blocked by a gigantic gate that demanded sacrifices from foreign races. The number of sacrifices wasn't small and was somewhere in the millions, and the gate would open only after receiving that astronomical number of offerings.
This explained the Miac alliance and the Dark Ice elve's scheming, and also the dangers of the floors that would follow after the gigantic door had been opened.
As such, Shane had no intention to enter the dungeon of the radiant mountain ring dimension for now, and he would rather venture through a different one if Princess Ilya would accompany him!
[Three months? That should be more than enough. The dungeon I mentioned was not the Calamity level dungeon you mentioned. The one I mean has just gathered enough mana from the dimension to reopen, and all floors are filled with treasures again!
But….do you plan to enter the Primordial Tournament or is there something else you have to do in three months?]
Shane was not really astonished that Ilya knew about the Primordial tournament and he simply told her that she was right with her assumption.
He had to acknowledge that he was positively surprised with Princess Ilya's information about a reopened dungeon.
This gave him the opportunity to earn much more compared to the suicidal attempt of fighting against millions of beings at the same time, only to receive nothing.
With his current physical strength, he was confident to fight someone with a mana purity of 80%, even without using mana!
Shane might be overestimating himself, but that was not the issue right now.
Rather than that, he thought that his equipment that was at the [Extraordinary] quality might be the only thing that needed an upgrade.
It was already extremely powerful and strong enough to kill and defend against Overlords, but Shane didn't have any accessories except the [Ancient ring of the Susurro]!
After he had witnessed how powerful his mother's heirloom was, Shane couldn't help but think that having similar powerful items was a necessity.
With a few of such items, he might as well be able to increase his strength during the next three months, more than a 5% increase in his mana purity would bring forth!
Furthermore, Shane didn't feel like staying idle anymore and he was eager to fight and experience the thrill of a battle along with the all too familiar feeling of adrenaline rush once again!
Through the dungeon, Ilya was giving him the opportunity to solve both, his eagerness to fight and pump his adrenaline, and to find treasures.
[I'll participate in the Primordial tournament, that's right. What dimension do I have to enter? I'll come over.]
Princess Ilya sensed his eagerness through the message she received, but that couldn't hide her worry about Shane wanting to participate in the Primordial tournament.
It was way too dangerous, and there were several million participants every year, with each of them having mana purity of 90% or above!!
However, instead of lecturing Shane, Princess Ilya decided to refrain from doing so because she could tell that he knew about the dangers. As such, it was his own decision whether he would apply for the Primordial tournament or not!
Apart from that, she didn't want to manipulate Shane's decision in any way because it was his life he risked and he acted mature for his age so he very well knew what he was doing!
[Alright, come to our shelter inside the Giant Fluare-plain dimension!]
When Shane read this message, he was astonished because he hadn't expected the Elus race to have a shelter inside the same dimension mankind had established one. Neither did he expect the giant fluare plains dimension to have a dungeon!
This was definitely a surprise, but considering how vast the dimensions were, it might take several years for mankind to find the particular dungeons Ilya was talking about.
Thus, when he had reached the dimension portal inside the RadiantRing shelter, he quickly messaged Talia that it was likely that he wouldn't be reachable for the next few months, and that she could invest everything they would earn to nurture the Astral Starlight faction!
Investing in his faction would result in the most efficient way to fulfill his goal.
The Astral artisans' monthly profits were exponentially increasing with every single Artisan they had fully nurtured, and Shane had no room to complain.
Unfortunately, his soul bound world was slowly being filled, but Shane couldn't afford to use the stored mana to enlarge it right now!
The reason for this was simple, and it was because Shane was not sure how much mana he would require to survive the dungeon he was about to enter, while the Primordial tournament would require him to use up lots of mana too!
As such, he would have to prioritize his own life as it was connected to the survival of his Hidden Paradise too!
In the end, Shane was responsible for many lives, but that didn't mean he had to hold back himself. Otherwise, the reason to establish the Astral Starlight faction, and to let them enter the Hidden Paradise would lose all of its meaning!
After he had met up with Princess Ilya, she greeted him hastily, as she was eager to leave for the dungeon.
Despite Ilya's eagerness, it took them 3 days on Umbra's back before they had finally reached the dungeon, which was in fact a gigantic tower that pierced through the clouds, making it impossible for Shane to see the tip.
Not even after he injected more mana into his [Eagle Eye] skill, was he able to estimate its height that seemed to go beyond the clouds, high up in the sky!
However, when he lowered his gaze and looked around him it caused Shane to be confused.
"What is going on here??"
