"Aargh!" Jyorta grunted, unleashing his psychic arms as he layered them over his skin, using his corrosion to burn through the silk wrapping around him. But, the more he corroded through them, the more he noticed that the layer of silk on him continued to increase.
"Hello there, Jyorta Bone!" Suddenly, a familiar voice resounded, shocking him. For a moment he, felt around his throat, checking if he was the one talking. After all, it was his voice.
But suddenly, he calmed down, speaking, "I'm not the real Jyorta Bone, am I right?"
"Yeah, you are just what this world created the moment I escaped its influence." As the egg hovered above the cocoon, Jyorta spoke. He then asked, "Are you able to feel the blue soul?"
"Mine should be something this world created then," The Jyorta within the cocoon said, no longer having any fighting spirit. "So, the world that I saw through it was fabricated?"
"Have you checked its sense of realism? How far does it extend?" The Jyorta within the egg asked, "Is it like inception?"
"I only observed the street before the Bone Family Mansion." The Jyorta within the cocoon said, finally asking after a sigh, "Are you planning to destroy me now?"
"No," The Jyorta within the egg laughed, "I'll take you within my tattoo world. You are pretty much me, right? Even if you are a copy of me, it's a realistic one. And, within my tattoo world, all your abilities would be legit."
"Haha, interesting. Are you keeping me as a backup plan?" The Jyorta within the cocoon laughed.
"Of course," The Jyorta in the egg nodded, sighing in worry, "There is no guarantee if I can retain my sanity in the future or if my mind won't shatter during some danger. At that time, you'll replace me."
"Alright, don't die too soon." The Jyorta within the cocoon laughed before his figure vanished.
Aura Induction—Tattoo World!
Jyorta had taken him into his tattoo world, made to hibernate until he began to build the world there. Now that he had taken care of 'himself', Jyorta looked around, commanding all the Frenzy Beasts under his command to extricate themselves from the fight and surround their foes.
He then noticed the Frenzy Beasts that had died remained as corpses for some time before dissipating as aura. The stronger they were, the longer they existed as corpses.
Thinking of something, Jyorta roamed through the battlefield once, causing a Floating Spider to push the egg. When he passed over the corpse of a Frenzy Beast that was disappearing, the dissipating aura streamed into him a little, mildly tempering his presence.
It was an almost insignificant increase, but now, he wished to verify something. Thinking as such, he gave a command to the Frenzy Beasts to attack the ones not under his control.
Immediately, a war erupted. But, the opposing side was unable to fight well, because Jyorta placed them under his hallucination, preventing them from attacking. Like sitting ducks, they were killed one after another.
Jyorta arrived before every Frenzy Beast died, watching his body—presence—getting tempered as a result. He then noticed that the egg he was using was also getting tempered, the same for the Floating Spider pushing it.
Thinking of something, he caused nine more Tier 2 Floating Spiders to come and latch onto the egg's surface while four Tier 2 Spindle Bees entered the egg, hiding within.
Jyorta noticed that his rate of tempering didn't suffer because of their arrival, remaining the same as before. After all, only a partial amount of the dissipating aura tempered them.
As the battle continued, a resounding thud alarmed him. Turning around, he noticed the body of a River Whale buried in the sand.
It was the sole River Whale he had brought over, one that he commanded to fly over to the oasis and absorb all the water from there. And until it flew there, it had been relying upon the moisture stored within its body to condense a bubble of water around itself.
Thankfully, with the water from the buried pond, it was able to last longer. It had then built up the sand cloud based on his orders. But, too much water evaporated that it wasn't able to retain through its Trait, eventually losing control from its thirst.
As the bubble of water around itself vanished, it lost its balance and fell to the air, dying in the process, killing by its own weight.
Jyorta arrived before it, smiling, 'I see, so the tempering from the River Whale is higher because it has a larger body.'
Soon, he finished killing all the Frenzy Beasts not under his control. "Now, I need to target that creature."
Whenever he brought out presences from his tattoo world, the aura personification would absorb it and condense it atop the hill where the massive bird-like creature lived. It was proving troublesome all along. Because, when he brought Frenzy Beasts to corner the other Jyorta, he had lost a lot of Crust-Mantles and Steel Porcupines to the creature.
Only the Spindle Bees and the Floating Spiders, thanks to their superior agility, were able to evade it and arrive at his location. "It seems every location within the range of the aura personification, in reality, conforms to a place in this world. So, that hill would become my base."
He riled up his army, charging towards the hill while the ten Tier 2 Floating Spiders began to weave a protective layer of silk on the egg once again.
As for the reason it hovered in the air before even after the protective layer was destroyed, it was because there was another layer within the egg. Jyorta had created a comfortable cushion on all sides in the interior of the egg.
This way, he could laze around and fly through the air, in comfort. As an Esper, he shouldn't be the one toiling about in the desert environment that was bound to exhaust him in a matter of hours.
Also stored within the egg was a small flash of water. The flask was created using spider silk. And, placed beside it were some bananas.. Of course, they were from the oasis, those that the other Jyorta hadn't taken because they were too heavy to carry around.
