14 Despicable Plo

It was not unexpected, but when Zhou Jia warned Bao FeiYin, all Bao FeiYin could think was that Qiu Yue was targeting her and because of this Huo Zi Feng wanted to warn her to be careful of Qiu Yue. After all, she believed that there was no way Huo Zi Feng would be angry with Bao FeiYin.

This only served to increase her audacious behavior. The next day, when Qiu Yue and Huo Zi Feng were back, Bao FeiYin spared absolutely no effort to get close to Huo Zi Feng.

She would make Huo Zi Feng coffee, volunteer to bring documents - anything and everything she could do, but Bao FeiYin always steered clear of Qiu Yue or any tactics towards Qiu Yue, she didn't want anyone to have any reason to suspect her for what would happen in the future.

It only kept escalating until finally, one day Qiu Yue came up to Huo Zi Feng's office to meet him, when she opened the door she immediately slammed it shut and quickly walked away from there, seething.

Huo Zi Feng ran after her instantly but was stopped by Bao FeiYin. Though he shook her off without wasting a second by the time he reached the door was shut and he could hear Qiu Yue's sharp voice from inside her office, no matter what, he was scared of his fiancée so he could only wait.

"He was HOLDING HER. Can you believe this?! The nerve of them all!"

Yao Yan slurped her milkshake nodding at everything Qiu Yue said.

This is worrying, she's constantly pacing and she looks ready to actually kill someone.

Yao Yan knew that agreeing with Qiu Yue wasn't the best thing to do but if Yao Yan wanted to live a little longer the best thing to do was keep her head down.

Finally, Qiu Yue seemed to get tired of walking and sat on her chair glaring at the monitor. But then a very uncomfortable silence filled the room, Qiu Yue was a ticking bomb who wasn't saying anything and staying in her sight just made Yao Yan a very good target, better to get out fast.

"So uh... W-what are you going to do?"

Qiu Yue paused tapping her feet for a moment and then she smiled wide without even a speck of happiness or warmth, it scared Yao Yan.

"I won't do anything. It's his decision. I won't force anything."

Qiu Yue picked up the phone and started to, literally, punch in the numbers.

"No matter what he chooses to do, I won't say anything! It's all on him. He can do whatever he wants!"

With every punch, Yao Yan could feel the fury train speeding closer to her station. From what Qiu Yue said it was obvious that Huo Zi Feng was in for it, it felt like no matter what he did he'd be in trouble.

Better him than me!

Who told him to get into such a situation!

"I'll let him know!"

Yao Yan quipped and quickly skipped out of the room before this train could land.

As soon she closed the door she came face to face with the pale face of an allegedly cold CEO. Sure he was cold, cold from fear.

It was quite valid really, Qiu Yue could be really vengeful and hot-tempered. Who knows what parts of their bodies would be broken?

Yao Yan was very happy with her body full of intact bones, it gave her immense pleasure to know they wouldn't be broken either. She was sure Huo Zi Feng was too but she didn't really feel he had much of choice in that anymore.

"Look buddy! Whatever you did, fix it!"

Yao Yan whispered fiercely.

Huo Zi Feng looked at the door to the office and for a second he felt as tho he could hear the hounds of hell barking.

"I will... go and search for a solution while she cools down..."

Even this mighty CEO who had never done this could only do his best to lower his voice and whisper.

"Well, you'd better hurry! After some time, instead of cooling, her fuse will go off and then she'll come find YOU."

That was the last bit of advice Yao Yan had for Huo Zi Feng, Yao Yan then quickly booked a cab, she decided to buy things that could calm Qiu Yue down, contingency plans were very important.

Coconut ice cream, books, antique electronics, art supplies! Life-saving tools.

In his office, Huo Zi Feng too was pacing. He already had Bao FeiYin send home with a very stern warning. The only reason he hadn't fired her yet was that she was recommended by Wang Xi who was Qiu Yue's cousin, and Qiu Yue's classmate.

Though it really didn't feel like Qiu Yue liked Bao FeiYin much, she hadn't said anything but her visits to Aries had gotten scarce. He could hardly see her during office hours anymore, he needed to wait for nights and weekends. And even nights meant either drives to stop her or work till morning, maybe he should have shut up about the one month wait. How could this happen right after they had finally started dating?

Liu Hui really felt he was a babysitter instead of a secretary. Just now he had gone after Huo Zi Feng only to see the entire Helios office shrouded in silence, as though they were afraid of drawing attention to themselves. From the atmosphere itself he could guess that he needed to get out of there, and when he came back he was met with the sight of Huo Zi Feng pacing nervously.

Children. That's what these two were.

Seeing Liu Hui's expression Huo Zi Feng complained to him.

"What would you do?"

Liu Hui just sighed and sat down on the chair and started to drum his fingers on the table rhythmically.

"If you fire Bao FeiYin... Miss Yue will be upset because she'd feel as though she had forced you to take action. If you don't fire Bao FeiYin, well then you're definitely not going to be fine."

"Doesn't that just mean either way I'm finished?!"

This life is very unfair. That was the only thing Huo Zi Feng felt right now.

"But, what if I let her take the decision? Shift the responsibility, that way it becomes her decision."

He isn't a lost cause yet, Liu Hui thought and nodded.

This was when Qiu Yue finally couldn't handle being left alone. An hour later, she came barging in to see Huo Zi Feng and let out her anger, Huo Zi Feng instantly held up his hands in surrender.

"You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt you..."

He said looking right into her eyes, and though Qiu Yue didn't want to be swayed she couldn't help but feel that he was being very sincere with his words.

Slowly he came up next to her after ascertaining she wouldn't hit him and lightly put his hands around her waist as he looked at her.

"What you saw was, miss Bao was about to fall down and take me down with her so I had no choice but to stop her."

Qiu Yue nodded pouting her lips slightly and placing her head on his chest. In the first place she hadn't been hurt, she'd just been angry and uncomfortable at that sight, and unreasonable almost.

"It won't ever happen again...I have a solution, and I want your opinion."

Qiu Yue nodded again, that was the part she was worried about. If he did fire Bao FeiYin, Qiu Yue would feel guilty because it was though she had forced him to do, and if he didn't, this anger would soon turn into ugly jealousy.

"I want to transfer her to your department, I know you can take the right decision so I want to leave it to you."

Qiu Yue could hear his heart beat faster, and a smile bloomed on her face and she started to laugh.

"My cute human!"

Qiu Yue happily kissed Huo Zi Feng and he realized that he couldn't so much as understand why, but he didn't really care, fiancée is happy so he did well.

Bao FeiYin's face was dark and Liu Hui wanted to burst out laughing, this girl's intentions were clear for all to see, now that she was told to move he could feel her anger at this. But what Liu Hui didn't know was that even if Bao FeiYin was being used by Wang Xi, she was the female lead and female leads never went down so easily.

While Qiu Yue had been paying a lot of attention to Bao FeiYin, monitoring her, Bao FeiYin went strangely quiet. She did nothing for a week, no complaints, she didn't even talk to people.

Qiu Yue had a bad feeling and so she asked Yao Yan for a list of all the people Bao FeiYin had contacted recently and a record of all her recent actions.

"Crazy bitch!"

Qiu Yue could only huff in surprise. This crazy female lead was actually planning on causing a short in the main system and essentially a blast! All this for what? To discredit me? This is crazy.

Qiu Yue had known crazy people but she hadn't imagined that Bao FeiYin would do something like this.

She immediately arranged for a surprise check of all data they had so that right before Bao FeiYin caused the short, all the data would be backed up and available to Qiu Yue. Then Qiu Yue called all the employees for a meeting in the conference room, she had to ensure no one got hurt, a blast of the computers might not cause major damage to the building or data but it could still hurt the people nearby very bad, flying projectiles were very dangerous.

The only thing she hadn't accounted for was that there were people who had headphones on and couldn't hear the announcement, while most people had arrived in the office, one person hadn't.

Yuan ZeXi had noticed immediately and Qiu Yue was beyond worried knew that Meng Hui wasn't in the conference room. Qiu Yue didn't show any of her feelings and excused herself for a second to find Meng Hui personally and scold him, the others just laughed, they had no idea Meng Hui could actually get hurt.

"Yao Yan!"

"He's in the room with the main systems! Hurry!"

Yao Yan stood there to stop anyone of going there and soon enough Yuan ZeXi came up, Yuan ZeXi has a bad feeling, dread was creeping into his heart and he felt like Meng Hui was in danger for some reason.

But when Yao Yan stopped him, he glared at her and pushed through, but Yao Yan couldn't let one more person get hurt, she stood her ground.

While others may not know what was going to happen, Bao FeiYin did, and she'd know why Qiu Yue had called for an emergency meeting, while not knowing why she would definitely set off the short before time, it wasn't as though Bao FeiYin was concerned about Meng Hui, in fact he was the person in between Bao FeiYin and Yuan ZeXi.

Bao FeiYin had a cold smile on her face as she watched Meng Hui hmm to himself with his headphones right next to the main systems that were just about to explode.

Qiu Yue who was very angry right now raced towards Meng Hui and tapped him on the shoulder but hearing the first spark caused by the electrical wiring Qiu Yue knew there was no time.

She turned to look at the systems and then pulled up Meng Hui and prepared to pull him behind her so she could shield him, but who knew Meng Hui, this light bunny, would gain so much strength.

Meng Hui could see the sparks and the shorts and could hear the minuscule blasts coming from the systems and knew something had gone wrong. Seeing Qiu Yue try to protect him, this boss of his who had helped him so much and let him find Yuan ZeXi, the person who meant so much, he didn't want her to get hurt.

He sidestepped her and quickly covered her and they both fell forward and the heat behind them propelled them forward hitting them hard.

The noises were blaring in her ears, the electrical sparks, glass shattering and the explosion of fire.

The fire crackled dangerously as they both hit the ground and Qiu Yue felt warm liquid on her hands and sharp pain nicked her on the face and thigh.

She shielded her eyes with her hand and tried to stand up carefully, but doing this she could feel that for the amount of blood she had on her hand, she had no injuries.

The sound of the explosion was horrifying to Yao Yan and Yuan ZeXi as they both ran towards the most important people in their lives.
