61 Stupidity in it's own way

At this point of time this was the thought process in Hannah's mind

Seeing Hannah's mind wonder off elseway in such a precarious situation, Matthew had no choice but to grab her before shouting to the dazed Eleo " Run!"

With that he slaps everyone out of their daze

"ROAR!" sounds of zombie groans could be heard everywhere,whenever a zombie chases a human they tend to make loud noises which attracts other nearby zombies.

Attracting a horde of zombies from just alerting one happened quite a few times before, usually causing the death of a close comrade or two.

As they ran out to the school out of instinct, zombies began chasing them

As soon as they got into the school, they locked the door with one of the crowbars Hannah brought.

"It's safe now" with Hannah still panting, they still couldn't believe that they'd managed to escape from all those zombies.

It was then that the two realised that they've been holding hands till now.

'Oh shit' after a second of staring they both turned their heads away, Matthew's ears were completely red and Hannah's face was having a deep shade of red.

That was when the idiot came through the window.

Hannah " Did you close the window?"

Eleo " I think I did?"

At this point of time faint growls could be heard from the direction Eleo came from

Hannah ' Damn it Eleo'

Matthew ' Shit, it's Eleo again'

All three of them ran up the staircase and onto the roof, where Matthew slammed the door shut.

Leaning against the wall to catch her breath, Hannah was about to use the 3m of white silk she got in her previous world to hang Eleo up as bait as punishment something jumped at her.

"AHH" Hannah screamed at the top of her lungs, turns out a zombie was also at the rooftop.

At this point of time just one word was screaming at Matthew's ears "NO!"

He felt a warm burst of energy before he felt a little of that energy shoot out of his body and towards Hannah

"Shit, I'm going to meet Mamamia so soon!" Hannah

Just as the zombie reached down past her arms to bite her,a huge gush of wind brushed past he hands and flung the zombie away.

Being the first time Matthew used his powers, his windblades were by no means sharp, more of a unpolished windblade more than anything else.

But it's force was strong enough to kill a level 0 zombie.

Now they only had 3 options

1. Jump to other buildings and hope for the best.

2. Kill their way out

3.Wait out

The first one was dangerous and unpredictable, if they jumped to other buildings, whose to say that the other buldings wouldn't have zombies littering inside.If they ran towards Emma, would the zombies follow them too? Emily , Emma and her father were poor runners.

The second option was even worse, there were way more than enough zombies for Matthew to handle, windblades costs him quite a fair bit of energy since he's just awakened.

The third option was also unpredictable,what if the zombies somehow sniffed there scent and rushed up? If they waited too long level 1 zombies might start appearing too.

After a long debate Hannah finally made her choice

'I choose option 4!'

Why couldn't she just throw a loud object somewhere else?

She had another crowbar, all she needed to do was call matthew to use his windblades to carry it to a buidling far away as they silently crawled away.

Sadly, nothing is ever perfect.
