60 Dead town

Luckily when they walked towards the town, they hadn't seen the shadow of a zombie at all

It'd seemd that though the infection had broken out, the zombies hadn't walked far off the city yet

That was what they'd thought until they heard the sound of groans up ahead.

They climbed up a hill to have a better view and saw zombies everywhere,

They were litering around the streets with a couple of zombies with their brains showing or with only their upper body crawling while their blood red instesting scraped the floor leaving a bloody trail behind.

The town had a population of around 120 people according to google maps (gave up on naming)

Hannah looked around before seeing a medicine store next to a small school.Both were placed at the side of the town nearer to the street with newer houses.

Hannah told Emma to look out for their parents while she'd go with Eleo and Matthew to find supplies.

They'd left the RV behind since it was too big to through the forest and the only possible roads to backwood city required them to pass through another highly populated city.

Since Emma felt like puking and was already shaking in fear upon seeing the zombies, it'd be best that she didn't join them.

She'd just have to look after her old parents and their supplies as they make a quick trip to the medicine store.

The system mentioned that stage 0 zombies were completely blind and could only listen for sound

So, Hannah told everyone that since the zombies had no pupil they could be blind and proved it by throwing a rock towards the wall

The demonstration would've been better if it didn't make Emma faint when she saw a one eyed missing lower body zombie walk towards her.

hey, but no one was complaing.

And no, it wasn't because the only one that would complain was unconscious.

The zombies walked towards the wall and continuted walking as if the wall wasn't there.

Seeing that everyone believed her statement

After 10 minutes when Emma woke up again,she went to find a nearby cave to hide in for shelter and would build something to block out the entrance

Having parents in the military and going out campinge every so often came in Handy.

"Now that we're here what do we do?" Hannah

"Let's go to the medicine stall, be quiet " Matthew replied as he faced Hannah,

The moment they made direct eye contact. they immediately turned their heads away

Eleo ruined the moment as he spoke "Stop daydreaming let's go"

Hearing his voice they duo regained their thoughts and coughed awkwardly.

It was more terrifying than going to a haunted house because everything was real!

with groans sounding everywhere the trio slowly walked towards the medical store in the town.

The glass on the door was even broken by what seemed to be zombies

Luckily there was only a single zombified staff crawling in the room with bite marks all over her body and a zombified doctor hanging from the ceiling

It was pretty obvious on what had happened, the zombie apocalypse happened very early in the morning and when the staff tried to block out the zombies it'd failed and she got bitten to death

The doctor was not as tragic as the staff, he probably hanged himself to avoid being a zombie before he died, sadly he didn't have the courage to bash his head thus he became a zombie after death.

When the trio entered they tried their best to avoid the crawling staff as they stuffed as many pills as possible into their bags

liquid medicine was useful but carrying too much would be too heavy, luckily Hannah secretly stored the liquid medicine into her storage.

Just as they were about to leave the store , Eleo accidentally hit the glass door with his bag.
