Breathing heavily, the fat man glared at the four people in front of him. "You little punks sure have some guts to do this to me!" This is the first time in his life that some young teens like Anna and the others treated him like this.
If one of the higher-ups who he works for heard that some teenagers put him in this kind of situation, the fat man would be kicked out or worse, he would be killed for such humiliation Anna and the others brought upon him.
"Blah blah blah! Why do some people keep saying that phrase? We already did what we did. We know that we have the guts to this to you despite your position in this place. There is no need for you to remind us of our daring action." Lucia said in an annoyed tone of voice; every time she got a mission to capture someone, those people would always say that she has some guts to go against them. She heard it so many times that she had enough of hearing it.
'Why can't they say something new for a change?' Lucia inwardly complained.
The fat man frowned at the way Lucia said those words. They know what his position in this place and yet they actually dared to attack him and humiliate him like this? The fat man thinks that these young ones are out of their mind, they actually think that they can get out of this alive.
"You little punks, if you know that much, then why are you doing this? Are you wishing for death?!" The fat man is trying to scare off Anna and the others, but his effort is in vain. He once again frowned in confusion. 'Why are they not scared?' He inwardly asked.
He does not understand why these little punks in front of him are not scared of what will happen to them if they were to hurt him further. It was as if they are confident that nothing will happen to them whether he tells this to his higher-ups or not.
'Do they have a strong backer?' When that thought flash through his mind, the fat man laughed inwardly. He erased the thought; he does not believe that these little punks have someone strong backing them up.
"Wish for death? No, no. You got this all wrong, mister fatty." Anna sweetly said as she walks around him. That sweet voice rang in the fat man's ears, but he did not feel the warmth in her voice, he instead felt that her sweet voice was too cold and scary. "What we wish for is the information inside that mind of yours." Anna pokes the fat man's head as she said this.
"I-information? What information do you think I have?" Sweats were starting to fall down in the fat man's face as he is staring at Anna's face. She looks so pure and innocent, but as he was staring straight into her eyes, there was no sign of pure and innocent; the only thing he could see is a sleeping demon that is slowly waking up.
"Hmmm... Let me think..." Anna's movements were slow, but these movements terrify the fat man. "How about the information of your big boss... you know, the one who runs the organization you work for."
The fat man was a bit surprised; he is surprised at the fact that these little punks intention on capturing him like this is because they want any information that he knows about his big boss. 'They must be crazy.'
Seeing that the man in front of her is not uttering a word, Anna suddenly got impatient. She is being nice; this man should be grateful that she is the one interrogating him. If she was not the one doing the work, then her brother or Ophius would do the job, and it is not going to be a good sight to watch if they are the one doing the interrogation.
"Hey..." Anna's cold voice was heard, "Don't leave me hanging here. I don't want your silence, I want answers coming out of that mouth of yours."
"I, I, I don't know anything!" The fat man said; but he is saying the truth, he does not know anything about his big boss other than its name. He is merely a lowly member of the organization that is in charge to watch other this place. His mission was to stay in this place and report back once he saw the person who is feared in the underworld, Mary Adams.
The little patience that Anna has left is now gone when she heard that response. Taking out the dagger that is behind her back, Anna stabbed the fat man's right leg. The fat man screamed in pain.
"You know, I truly believe that you don't know any information because you are a lowly member..." Anna stated and the fat man looks at her as if she is a crazy person. She believes that he did not know anything, but why did she have to stab him in the leg? "...but I also believe that you know one thing, your big boss' name."
She stabbed him the leg is not only because she runs out of patience; the other reason was that she senses that the fat man lied to her that he did not know anything. He clearly knew about his big boss's name and yet he did not tell her. Telling her the name of his boss is also included as information.
While panting, the fat man responded, "E-even y-you know m-my boss's name, y-you can never f-find anything." In the man's perspective, whether these little punks know his big boss's name, they do not have the ability to find anything, much less find the location of his big boss.
"Whether we find anything or not is none of your business, mister fatty. Now, will you please tell me your boss's name?" At this moment, Anna felt that this fat man in front of her is only wasting her precious time. 'Why can't he just tell me that man's name? What is so hard about that?!' Anna inwardly screamed.
The fat man was about to refuse to tell Anna hiss boss's name, but when he saw that Anna is raising the dagger in her hand and was looking at his other leg, fear was once again rising up inside him. Without waiting for Anna to stab his other leg, the fat man immediately opens his mouth, "R-Rolfe Lance, that's his name!"
Anna raises her hand and the man tightly closes his eyes. He was expecting something painful, but a hand was patting his head gently. He slowly looks at Anna and saw that she is smiling sweetly at him, "Good boy." She said.
After saying that, Anna walks away from the fat man and when she reached her brother, she hugs him tightly.
The fat man looks at Anna who is happily chatting with her brother; for some reason, he felt that Anna treated him like a dog.
