While Anna was interrogating the fat man, Ophius suddenly spoked that only Lucia and Aaron can hear. "At first, I thought that your sister is only a sweet and caring person, but looking at her right at this moment, she's becoming more like you."
Originally, Ophius wandered if Anna and Aaron were truly blood-related; but looking at Anna right now, stabbing the fat man's leg as if it was nothing, there is no point on wondering if Anna and Aarron are blood-related because they truly are; the glow on her eyes as she stabbed the man's leg is practically the same as Aaron. The only difference between them is that Anna is sweet when she is not serious or acting mischievously.
"My sister is nothing like me." Aaron was annoyed by Ophius comment about his precious twin sister. "Anna is the only person in the Coleman family who is a gentle lamb, and it should remain that way."
Lucia and Ophius heard that, and they could only look at Aaron as if he is saying such nonsense about his sister.
Aaron has his own definition of 'gentle lamb' referring to his twin sister. At this moment, he does not see ruthlessness in his sister. He thinks that his sister is being gentle with the fat man. 'How dare him to say that to my sister.'
The reason why he thinks this way is because of how his mother and grandfather interrogate a person is by torturing them first before asking. His sister's way of interrogating is way different; she spoke to the fat man in a gentle way. 'How did he even come up with an idea that my sister is like me?'
"See," Aaron said, telling them to look at his sister's direction. "She's even patting the fat man's head and telling him that he is a good boy. How can you even say that she is like me? How rude of you Ophius."
When Ophius heard that, he does not know whether to cry or to laugh. He wanted to say something, but Lucia stopped him; he looks at Lucia and saw her shaking her head.
"Don't even bother arguing with him, Ophius. It's no use. Aaron dotes on his sister too much. Every action that Anna makes is always gentle in Aaron's perspective." Lucia already knows this fact the first time Aaron stopped her from getting to know Anna. It would be pointless if Ophius tried to get Aaron to earn some senses about Anna.
Hearing that Ophius gave up, and then looks at the person coming toward them. She looks so happy. Her expression and everything changed very fast that it would seem like she did not do anything to the fat man.
"Look at you smiling like that as if you did nothing to the guy," Ophius commented.
Anna smirked at him, then turn her attention towards her brother, and said, "Brother, did I do something bad to that man?" She asked innocently.
Aaron gently stared at his sister and caresses her hair. "No. You did no such thing, sister. Ophius is only talking nonsense, you can just ignore him." He said as he glared at Ophius.
Ophius was dumbfounded at the way Anna accuses him like he is the bad guy here. 'What the heck is wrong with these two!'
"So, what did that guy said to you?" Aaron asked.
"He is only a lowly member so did not have any special information. But he did say his boss' name, for now, that information is enough." After saying that Anna put on a face that is saying that she wants her brother to praise her for doing such a good job.
Seeing that face his sister is putting on, Aaron is holding himself for squeezing his sister in a tight hug. 'She is too cute. This is dangerous. Many men will Come after her if she keeps showing that expression.'
For Aaron, one person pursuing his sister is enough to give him a headache. But to add more men pursuing his is sister means headaches for him every day. 'I shall prevent that from happening.'
"You did a marvelous job, my dear sister." Aaron temporally pushed his worries away and focuses on his sister who is happy at his praise.
As Anna and Aaron are having their own moments, Lucia and Ophius were watching them. Ophius has this look on his face that he could not believe what he is seeing right now.
"You know what I realized?" He said in a low tone of voice that only Lucia can hear.
"I don't have a clue, Ophius. Please do tell me." Based on how Lucia reply to him, it is clear that she does not have any interest in what Ophius is going to say.
"The Coleman family is full of crazy people." This is the first time he had seen someone wanting praise for stabbing someone in the leg, and actually got praised for it.
Lucia sighed, "Ophius, the Coleman family are a particular one, so just get used to it, okay?" Lucia understands that this is the first time Ophius is doing something like this with a Coleman, but answering to his every surprises and question is kind of tiring for her.
"Hey, you two, let's go," Aaron called out Lucia and Ophius, signaling them that it is time for them to leave the place.
Not uttering a word, all of them left the place, leaving the bleeding fat man all alone in an empty room. The fat man's face is turning white as his leg is bleeding out; he gritted his teeth in anger. They left him here without even looking back at him. 'Those brats will surely pay for what they have done to me.'
As he is struggling to free his hand from the rope, a group of people suddenly entered the room he is in. He looks up to them, and a smile appeared on his face. "Good thing that you guys are here now! Come on, don't just stand there, help me get out of this situation."
The men who entered did not budge from their spot, and this made the fat man frown in displeasure. He was about to say something to them, but someone new entered the place. "Don't expect them to follow your order, lowlife."
The fat recognizes that voice, and cold sweats suddenly fall down his face. The man who just entered is Rolfe Lance's right-hand man, Jax. "J-Jax! Y-you're here."
He is surprised to see Jax personally appeared in a place like this. Normally, he would send someone else instead, but seeing him here personally, the fat man feels a bad premonition coming. "W-what are you doing in a place like this?" He asked.
"What am I doing here? You're asking me that?" Jax scoffed, "You should know very well why am I here. You're such a disgrace" One of the things that Jax really hates is the people who put shame in the organization his boss made.
"I-I was drunk and those punks caught me off g—"
The fat man's words were cut off as Jax himself cut off his throat open. "We don't need people like you who get caught so easily by some teenagers." Jax coldly said.
