"Good morning, Kyle," Layla said in a happy tone. But unlike yesterday, Layla has her elegant aura around her. She dared not to make her son noticed the uncontrollable excitement that is rising inside her.
"Good morning," Kyle replied in a groggy voice. He just woke up and still feeling sleepy. He barely got any sleep because of the excitement and happiness Anna had brought him yesterday. Although he did not get any reply from Anna, is it still a big step for him to say what he really felt. Sooner or later he will have Anna's reply, he has to be patient now and make her fall for him.
"You look sleepy. How many hours did you sleep?" Lannie heard was heard from behind. She just came down from her room to have breakfast, and the first she sees in the morning is her brother having a tired look on his face.
Very unusual for her brother to be this tired.
"Probably four to five hours of sleep?" Kyle is not even sure how many hours of sleep did he get.
"Brother, what have you been doing?" Lannie said as she shakes her head. At this point, Lannie won't even care what did her brother do last night because she guesses that it must be related to her grandma Shine. The only thing that she cares about now is her brother making a move on Anna.
"I did nothing," Kyle replied plainly. He does not want to tell his mother and sister about had happened yesterday because he knows that his mother and sister will only pester him to tell them the whole detail, and he does not want to waste his on that.
He will keep it as a secret for the time being.
Unfortunately for Kyle, his mother already knew that something big had happened yesterday. She might not know what is the exact detail, but she is sure that it is big enough to keep her son stayed up late last night.
As much as Layla wanted to share this piece of good news with her daughter, Layla decided to keep quiet about it until her son decided to tell them. Layla respects whatever decision her son chooses, and she would not dare to disrespect her son's decision on keeping quiet about what happened yesterday.
"Lannie, you should at least have an idea what your brother did last night in his room." Stan started as he just arrived at the dining table. With a large grin on his face, Stan continued, "He was probably doing something that some boys at his age would do at night when they are alone in their room."
Layla and Kyle were somehow speechless by what Stan just said. Sometimes, both mother and son wished that they could just say that they do not know the person named Stan Robertson.
The mother and son pair could not help but sigh at the male head of their family. They both don't have the energy to reply to that ridiculous remark of Stan.
Lannie who has no idea what her father is talking about asks in a curious tone, "What do you mean by 'something', dad?"
Stan was about to answer his daughter's question, but fiercely glared at him and said, "Answer that question and I can assure you that you will be sleeping outside of the mansion tonight." Her husband loves their daughter very much, and she wonders if her husband is trying to stain their daughter's purity.
If he did answer Lannie's question, Layla will make sure that Stan will not be able to step inside the mansion for two weeks.
Hearing that from his wife, Stan immediately shuts his mouth and ate the breakfast that is in front of him. 'What did I do wrong?' He asked inwardly, clearly unaware of what he had done.
"What's wrong with my question?" Lannie asked.
"Lannie, just forget about what our dumb father just said and eat your food." Continuing this conversation will only lead his father outside tonight. Like a good son he is, Kyle decided to put an end to this conversation for his father's sake.

At the same time inside the Coleman mansion, the family is also having breakfast. Everyone is in their usual selves except for Anna who is beaming in so much happiness. Even the maids who are passing by noticed the glow in Anna's face.
Aaron who has been watching his sister from the moment she sat down can't help but asks her, "What are you so happy about?"
He has been curious since yesterday when his sister got home. From the moment she stepped inside the mansion, her bright smile was shown on her face. Even this very morning she still has that smile on her face. 'Is her jaw not hurting from smiling like that?' Aaron asked inwardly.
"Son, it's obvious that she's happy because of her date with Kyle," Mary said with a teasing grin on her face.
Mary is not sure what kind of relationship Anna and Kyle are on, but as long as it is making her daughter happy, she does not care and will wait for Anna to tell her everything.
"Date? She went off a date with Kyle?" Marcus surprised voice was heard. Yesterday he thought that his granddaughter only went off somewhere to have fun with Nathalia. He never expected that the person Anna was with is Kyle.
Although he had already given Kyle permission to pursue Anna, he somehow feels a little bit upset that he has no idea that Anna was with Kyle. But then again, when he thought of getting involved in some teenage drama, that feeling immediately wore off.
"Yes. She went on a date with Kyle." Aaron replied with a slight dissatisfaction in her tone. Facing Anna, Aaron continued to speak, "So, did Kyle do something that made you smile like that?"
"No. He did nothing. I am just happy because my day yesterday went well." As Anna is saying this, there is a light tint of red appeared on her face.
"Anna, don't even try to hide it. I heard from one of the guards that before you get off from Kyle's car, they saw that Kyle hugged you." Mary lied. Truthfully, it was her and Layla who saw that scene. She chose to lie about it because she does not want her daughter to know that she spied on her on the first date she had with Kyle.
"Oh. Are guys on the level already?" Marcus asked. In Marcus' conclusion from Kyle's action, it seems to him that Kyle and his granddaughter is already on the level of dating.
