"You're trying to find a replacement for your father?" Arion slowly said. At this moment, he doesn't know what to think anymore. His son and daughter are trying to find a man to replace him.
He felt heartache just by imagining that there is someone else who will be replacing him. He also felt anger rising inside him, but he immediate erased that feeling.
What rights does he have to get angry at his children? He left them without a word, and now that he is back in the country, he did not even tell them that he is here, alive and well.
But still, hearing it directly from his son hurts him. Now, he wishes that he could turn back the time and replace his decision on leaving his family.
From the way he sees it, it's not only him who is hurting from all this, his children and wife are also in pain because of his selfish decision.
Aaron slightly frowned at Leon's father when he heard that question. "I wouldn't say it like that," Aaron said. "That's a bit too much. Besides, I don't remember a single happy moment with him, and I don't feel any attachment towards my blood-father, so I have a valid reason to say that I am trying to find a man to replace him."
Leon, who heard every single word coming out of Aaron's mouth, somehow he felt pity for his boss. He could not fathom the feeling of being hated by his son since he does not have one. But he does know that same feeling of rejection of your love ones.
'Boss, that's what you get for not telling them the whole truth.' Leon inwardly said.
"I-is that so," Arion stuttered.
Arion wanted to say more, but Anna's voice is heard, "Anyways, let's stop talking about dear daddy and focus on what we are here for."
Anna felt that the more they talk about their father, the more she feels uncomfortable. For some reason, she felt that what she and her brother did today is a crime against someone and that someone is watching them. Just imagining that someone is watching them, Anna felt goosebumps all over her body.
'Goodness. It's daytime, and I'm getting the creeps. I should stop watching horror movies,' Anna inwardly commented.
"Yeah, I think we should," Aaron replied.
Both twins went back on their search, and have decided to ignore Leon and Kyle's presence. By tomorrow, since it's going to be their mother's day off, Anna and Aaron want to let their mother meet one of the guys they might pick today.
Just by looking at the twins, Arion can tell that they are being serious about making their mother meet one of the guys on the pictures. Not wanting that to happen, Arion made his shared his opinions about the potential candidates Anna and Aaron picked.
All of his opinions were negative. The twins and Leon can see that Arion is even trying to help but trying to ruin the image of these people.
Feeling annoyed by Arion, Aaron spoke in an irritated tone. "Old man, what's your problem?"
"D-did you just call me 'old man'? Young man, I have a name! Be more respectful of me. And no, I don't have any problem. I'm only telling you that these people are not a perfect match for your mother."
"I have a name too. And for your information, whether one of them is a perfect match or not for my mother, it's our business, not yours." Aaron firmly said.
"T-true. It's not of my business, but still..." Arion said in hesitation. He wanted to say that everything related to Mary's love interest is his business. But how can he say that when he is here hiding his real identity to his children.
"I don't know whether I'm right or wrong, but why do I get this feeling that you want us to pair you with our mother instead?" Ever since the moment Arion shared his negative opinion about the candidates, Anna felt that Leon's father wants her and her brother to pair him up with her mother.
Hearing that, Aaron turns his head in the direction of his sister and said, "Anna, even if that is the case, I won't allow it," Looking back at Leon's father, Aaron continued to speak, "This guy is not even on the same stage as our mother."
Even though Aaron is not saying it, Arion is getting a hint of what his son is trying to say. His lips are twitching in irritation. He wants to smack his son's heard right here right now.
"Are you saying that I'm ugly?" Although there is no point in asking, Arion still wants to make sure that is what Aaron is getting at. A part of him is hoping that his son is not mean as he thinks he is.
"I did not say that. You're the one who said that to yourself. Accusing me of something I did not say is not a good thing, you know?"
Anna and Leon turn their heads towards the opposite direction, and then they cover their mouths. They are trying so hard not to burst into a loud laugh. The way they see it, Aaron and Arion are too funny to look at, it is dangerous for them to be around with these people because they might die from laughter.
"Brat, even if you did not verbally say that out loud, I know that is what's inside of your head." Arion wants to smack Aaron for being like that to him, but he is holding himself back because he keeps reminding himself that Aaron is his son and that he should not smack his son.
"If you know, then you should not have said anything, look at what happened, you ended up hurting yourself," Aaron said with a smirk.
'Son, I wonder what kind of reaction will you show to me once you find out you kept calling me ugly just now. You do realize that you got most of your looks from me, right?' Arion inwardly commented.

While Arion and Aaron are having their little bickering, a certain private room inside the library, a man was waiting impatiently for the people he is supposed to meet.
"Is this some kind of a joke? I skipped my job because of this and this is what I get? If I had known this is going to happen I should have not canceled my meeting with Mary."
