"Are you both done talking?" Tess asked. Clearly, she is displeased by what Arion and Mary are displaying in front of the twins.
She only asked them a question, and yet it led to another argument. How dense can they both be? Are they not noticing the expressions that twins are showing? The twins are not comfortable with what is happening.
Every parent should know that arguing in front of their child can have a bad effect on the child itself.
Sensing the displeased tone in Tess's voice, both Arion and Mary stopped and stay silent. In the moment of their silence, they both realized that what they have done just now is something they shouldn't have done in front of the twins.
They can argue all they want, but they should do it in front of their children. Guilt is surging up inside of them. They were arguing about the happiness of their children, but what they are doing is not helping their children to be happy.
"Nanny Tess, I'm sorry. This is all my fault." Anna spoke up and her words just made Tess frown. For what reason Anna is saying sorry for? She did nothing wrong. It's her parents that are at fault.
"What are you saying sorry for, Anna?" Arion asked worriedly. Basing on his daughter's tone of voice, Arion can tell that his daughter is extremely sad, and doesn't want to see her sad expression.
"It's my fault that you and mom are arguing right now. I was just being selfish and brought you here without telling my brother and mom. I didn't expect they would react this way. I'm sorry daddy." What Anna expected was that there will some disagreement, but she never has thought that her parents would argue like they hate each other.
What she wants is for her parents to get along, for her brother to slowly accept their father, and for her family to be complete. However, with what is happening right now, Anna thinks that what she hopes for to happen won't happen and it's going to last for a long time.
It's like a gunshot that went through his heart when he heard Anna say those words. She's blaming herself for something he and Mary are not agreeing on. "Anna, it's not your fault. You convinced me to come here because you want our family to be complete. There's nothing selfish about that."
To tell the truth, the one who is being selfish is him and Mary. They were so caught up in their own moment that they did not pay too much attention to the real problem is.
After sighing, Mary replied in a gentle manner, "Anna, your father is right. None of this is your fault, you are just being kind and sweet, just like always. The ones at fault are me and your father, so please, don't ever blame yourself for what happened between me and your father."
Mary can promise that she will never let one of her children see her and Arion fight, but what she can't promise is that she and Arion won't fight again because, in a relationship, there is always a fight. Nothing is perfect, there is always a hole in a relationship, but that doesn't mean that she and Arion will have to part ways.
She and Arion loves each other very much, but her stubbornness is not letting herself forgive Arion or at least let Arion prove that he is trying. That is one of her faults in the matter.
"Fine." Aaron suddenly spoke. His voice is firm as ever, it seems that he had made his decision. "For my sister's sake, I will give you a chance. But if ever you make my mother cry again or my sister, I can assure you that there will be no more chances."
After saying that Aaron walked away from everyone and went to his room. He may look like a coward running away from that room, but he would rather let everyone think of him that way rather than staying there and watch his sister blaming herself.
He knows that out of all of them, his sister is the one suffering the most. She is the only one trying to hard to make their family happy. And he, on the other hand, is doing the opposite thing his sister wanted.
Just like his mother, he is also being stubborn. His pride is not letting him give his father a chance.
From the bottom of his heart, he appreciates what his father has done for the family. What his father did was wrong, but his father's reasons are all for the sake of their family's safety.
He doesn't know how to express what he truly felt on the day he saw his father, instead, he acted like he is angry and that he doesn't want his father's face.
After Aaron left the room, no one spoke except for one person who saw everything from start to finish. "Well, at least he gave you a chance. That's a good thing, right, Arion?" Leonardo asked.
"Yes. It is." Arion showed a smile, a smile that indicates that he is relieved that his son is finally giving him a chance. What Aaron just said is enough to make him happy.

In Aaron's room, Aaron is currently playing on his phone, his way to distract himself from what happened earlier.
As he is playing, someone suddenly came knocking on his door. It's a gentle knock, and he knew right away who that person is.
Aaron immediately stood up and exited his game, not caring if his teammates his hate him for leaving in the middle of the game. The person on the other side of the door is much more important than the game itself.
"Anna, what are you doing here?" He asked as soon as he opened the door. He looks at her up and down, he noticed that his sister is already wearing her pajamas. It seems like she is ready for bed, but what is she doing in front of his room?
"I'm here to talk, brother. Is it alright for me to enter your room?" While standing in front of her brother, Anna is feeling quite nervous. No matter what her mother and father say to her, she still thinks that it is her fault and that her brother is angry at her.
Not wanting to sleep without saying that she is sorry to him, Anna decided to pay her brother a visit.
"Of course." Seeing the expression plastered on her face, Aaron can tell that his sister is nervous about something, and he can tell what it is.
As soon as Anna sat down on Aaron's bed, she immediately said, "I'm sorry, Aaron."
