The moment Anna and Arion step foot in the school property, they immediately hear gossip that really made Anna's day for the better. The last time she heard gossip like this is way back in her past life, the news about her having a man after her grandfather's birthday party. That gossip brought shame to her family, and now, she is thankful that it didn't happen again.
In this new life of hers, it's that wretched person's turn to feel the same shame she felt back then. "Can this day get any better, brother?" Anna said with a smile plastered on her lovely face. Clearly, she is having the best time listening to every person she and her brother walk pass by.
"You sure are wicked, sister. How could you do that to her? You have no heart." There is no reason for Arion to ask who is the main culprit of what is happening today. It's clearly his dear sister's work. The only person who has that information is his sister and no one else.
"Heart? Do I really need that to punish someone who deserves it, brother? And calling me wicked is a bit too much, brother. I would rather call myself an angel." The images and other things that she told Leon to post are only a quarter of what that person is hiding. That person should be lucky that all the information that she has not yet been exposed in one go.
"Angel? Dear sister, you sure have a unique way to describe yourself." No matter how many times Aaron has seen his sister like this, he is still having a hard time believing that she is the same Anna that he knew before.
"What can I say, when someone messes with me or anybody that I care for, that someone will get what he or she deserves." Anna is done playing like a girl good in front of those who are not deserving of her kindness.
"Anna!" An angry voice from behind the twins suddenly shouted Anna's name full of rage hinted in her voice.
The twins turned around and they saw the star of the gossip that has been going around the school. Anna looks at that person with a smile, acting like she has no idea what is going on. While Aaron, on the other hand, showed a nonchalant face.
"Rebecca, what can I do for you?" Anna put on a mask that most people in the school know, the kind and sweet Anna. If Josh, Zen, and Leon were to see what kind of face Anna is putting on right now, they would most likely have trouble keeping their laughs intact.
"Don't play innocent with me! I know that it's you that did this to me!" Rebecca shouted in anger. The only person she knows who has a deep hatred for her is Anna, and Anna has the power and wealth to dig up information about her even the ones she tried so hard to hide.
"Miss June, are you accusing my sister of whatever is happening to you right now?" To those who heard Aaron, they can tell that Aaron disliking the fact that Rebecca is accusing his sister. And most people in the school know that Aaron will go aggressive if someone attacks his sister.
Whether it's a girl or a boy, Aaron will take action no matter what the consequences it. With Aaron's overprotectiveness, people are jealous and afraid of Anna.
"Don't try to act like you have no idea, Aaron! I know that you and this good-for-nothing sister of yours are obsessed with throwing me into the mud!" Rebecca always tries to avoid having a conflict with Aaron because she doesn't have the power to fend of Aarion, but right now, she does not care anymore.
Her image, the image that she has been trying to clean is now all gone because of what Anna did to her. She has been working hard and has used extreme methods to get to her goal, but now, all her hard work were gone in an instant.
"Good-for-nothing?" Hearing that rage is rising up inside of Aaron. Out of all the words that Rebecca could have said to his sister, why does she have to say that? Does she not care about her life anymore? "You dare to call me sister a good-for-nothing?!"
Rebecca flinched when she heard Aaron's voice, she knew that Aaron will get angry, but she didn't expect him to get this angry. "Yes! I called her that! She has always been jealous of me that's why she is spreading all these fake gossips about me around the school. She has no talent like mine, and she can't do anything that's why I called her a good-for-nothing!"
Since all has been said and done, Rebecca decided to continue what she started. Since they are a lot of students looking at them right now, she will act like she's the victim and everyone will blame Anna, and everything will be in her favor later on.
"You made a big mistake calling my sister like that," Aaron said coldly. "Don't you know that every member of the Coleman family has many skills? And one of those skills is a skill that you could never achieve?"
Sure. Rebecca might be good at what she does, but Rebecca doesn't know his sister that well. His sister can act like Rebecca, but better at it. And every day in front of people that Anna doesn't like, she has to act in front of them. There's not even a hint of dislike in every move she makes. That is what makes Aaron think that his sister is better in acting than Rebecca.
"Hmph! There is always a first in everything. You are just saying that because you don't want to embarrass your family name. You know sometimes being honest in front of other people is the best way to escape embarring yourself." No matter what everyone says, Rebecca will continue to believe that Anna is not as good as her and that Anna will always be the useless one.
"You say that, but Rebecca, shouldn't you be honest with everyone else too?" Anna asked. "I don't know what you are accusing me of, but what if those words that have been going around the school is the truth? Just like you said, better say the truth now before you embarrass yourself."
"So you are admitting that you're the one spreading those rumors! Anna how could you! I've done nothing but be nice to you, so how could you do this to me?!" After what she heard from Anna, Rebecca panicked on the inside, she felt that Anna is going to show something that will gravely affect her in front of everyone else, so she decided to level up her character as the victim of what Anna did.
'Wow. I can't believe she's really doing this. She's really shameless.' Anna inwardly commented.
