"Yeah. But I have this feeling that my brother will not for that kind of tricks from me. He's so determined not to tell me what really happened between them." Anna's curiosity is killing her, and she can't stand it.
She tried to call Nathalia for answers earlier, but Nathalia's phone was off. Because of that, Anna felt that she should just give up and wait for them to tell her everything.
"Wow. People do change when they fall in love, huh." Lannie muttered, but Anna heard what she said. "Oh well, I guess you just have to wait for them to you." Although Lannie is curious about what happened between Aaron and Nathalia, Lannie is not going to make herself crazy imagining what really happen.
If she were to be like Anna, it would be about her brother and Anna. She would pester her brother or Anna to tell her every single detail. And they both know that she is the type of person who gets under someone's nerves.
"I am waiting. It is just that I don't like waiting for this kind of gossip about my brother." Out of all romance stories she reads or sees, the only thing that has been making her feel excited is the fact that it is about her brother.
"Same," Lannie replied.

"Good job, you two. I'm quite proud, especially towards you Lannie."
When Lannie heard that comment from the student council vice president, Lannie glared at him as if she wants to kill him. He is always against her for no reason and she hates it. But when she thinks about it, the only time that he is angry at her is when she is having a great time with the President.
With that, Lannie smirked at the thought she is having. 'Was he being jealous that I'm closer to the President than he is to her? Hoho. I'm so sorry God, I'm being naughty again.'
"Oh please. I don't need any compliments from you." Lannie scoffed at him, then she turned her attention towards the student council president. "Rather, I would love to hear you compliment me, Prez."
Unable to contain her excitement at how cute Lannie is looking right now, the student council President hugged Lannie tightly and said, "Lannie! I'll just hug you for doing a great job! After all, actions speak louder than words."
The vice president who is displeased by the sight he is seeing right now noticed that smirk Lannie is sending to him. He jolted. He realized that Lannie knows something about him that he does not want anyone to know even the President, herself.
'Out of all people, why her?' He inwardly asked.
Noticing the tension between Nathalia and the Vice President, Anna can only sigh and ignore them. "Now that I'm done. I'll be on my way now. My brother is waiting for me at the gates. I'll see you later, Lannie."
Anna didn't wait for them to reply back to her, she just picked up her things and went ahead.
As her distance from the gates is closing in, Anna can her brother more clearly. She can also see that her brother brought his car to school. There are so few students left in school, and yet her brother can still manage to get a lot of attention. 'Despite not liking to show off his wealth, he sure loves to show off how beautiful his car is.' Anna inwardly commented.
"How long have you been waiting for me?" Anna asked as soon as she is in front of him.
Aaron took his sister's bag, then put it on the trunk of the car. "It's only been a few minutes. You don't have to worry yourself about that."
Looking at the clothing her brother is wearing right now, apparently, he didn't went home just yet, and probably went to somewhere else, knowing that he was only waiting for her for only a few minutes. "So, how is grandfather is doing right now? I got a text from Mom that he was stress about something last night."
Anna wanted to go home right away when she got that message from her mother, but she decided not to when her mother followed up another message that it was not that serious. But even after reading that, she can't still remove the bad feeling that she's having.
"He's doing fine. He was just being emotional because you were not home. His old age is getting on him." Aaron said with a scoff in the end. Last night was a headache to him, their grandfather kept on bothering him, telling him to bring Anna back home.
At that time, his mother was done wearing him another earful of his so-called cowardness and he has no energy to heed his grandfather's orders. And because of that, he got another earful of his grandfather's words saying that he is such an unfilial grandson.
"Is that so." Anna stared at her brother who is currently focusing on that road, and she noticed that he has dark circles around his eyes. "How about you? Are you well today?"
If she's going to guess, she will say that last night must be a long night for her brother.
"Well, I'm not. I'm tired and I wanna go home. But I can't do that just yet. I... I mean we have to go and meet up with Elder Martha." The only thing that is stopping Aaron from going to his bed and sleep is Martha Cole. As for his father, they are not going to have training today since everyone is so busy to expose the truth about his father.
"Do you think that Elder Martha will scold me today?" Anna asked out of curiosity. Although she may look like an arrogant person to think this way, Anna thinks that Elder Martha took a liking of her after that exposure of her uncle James' schemes.
"After having my first day with her, there is no doubt that Elder Martha will scold you. She's scary. I mean very scary. It's like the same with Mom, but when she's angry." Aaron shudders at the thought that he is going through another day with Martha. It's only the second day, and yet he already wants things to end fast.
Hearing that Anna gave her brother a determined look. "Brother, I will not go today either." She saw what kind of person her mother is when she is angry. And if her brother is saying that Martha is like her angry mother, then Anna would like to fo home now and forget about the training under Martha.
"Nope. You left me alone yesterday. I will not have you leave me alone today too." Aaron's immediate reply.
"What?! It's not my fault! It's yours! You're the one who told me that I should go instead of coming with you to see Elder Martha." How could her brother blame her for something she didn't do. Sure she's the one who willingly left, but that is after her brother convinced her to go.
"Why did you listen to me?" Aaron knows full well that he is at fault, but he can't help himself. He just doesn't want to put all the blame on himself because he doesn't want to be the only one who will receive punishment.

"You two are not talking to each other? How come?" Martha's son, Jay was the one who greeted them at the front door. And currently, the twins are waiting for Martha to return home.
"Well, my stupid brother just put all the blame on me when he is the who convinced me to do it," Anna replied in an irritated tone.
Jay can only smile at the sight that is in front of him. He can tell that the twins closer than anyone would have expected. 'They somehow remind me of how close Arion and James were like before.' Jay inwardly commented.
After listening to the whole story, Jay finally said something. "While it is true that Anna should what should she prioritize first, you were the one who said some convincing words. You are the main reason why she willingly left. You are at fault, but the blame is mostly on you, Aaron."
Jay is not sure is what he said is the right thing to say, but he just said whatever that comes to his mind.
"Whoever is at fault, I do not care." A voice from behind startled the trio. They turned around and they saw Martha standing behind them. The twins slightly shook at the face she is making, she looks so angry. "What I do care about is to get this day over with."
"Mom, you look angry. What happened?" Jay asked in a worried tone. Some people might think that his mother is always angry, but that is not the case. That is just how her face is, but right now, it seems like his mother is genuinely angry.
"My guess was right. I can't believe how easily that bastard James can be swayed."
