Chapter 526 - Revenge 527: Stubborn As A Rock

Name:REBORN: Revenge Author:C_J_Taganna
"Sorry. I know I promised not to share it with anyone, but I was really bored. But hey, it was worth it. I laughed."

"It was no worth it! That photo is embarrassing! Why do you even have it? You said you're going to delete it after!" Zen is shaking. He can barely keep his voice low. With every passing second, Anna and Nathalia staring at that picture and asking what that person's identity is, Zen feels like he is about to faint.

To others, he might be overreacting, but he cannot stand it. Yesterday's event is the one thing he does not want anyone to know. He would rather die than to let anyone know about it.

"Zen, why do you look so frustrated?" Nathalia asked. She has no idea what is going on between him and Leon, but it seems like they are fighting about something from her point of view. "Are you two fighting over this girl in the picture?"

If what she thinks is the truth, this could be one drama she is looking forward to seeing. 'I'm so bad to think that way.'

"You could say it like that," Leon said.

"You have a girl you are interested in, Zen? I'm sure your mother will be happy to hear that." Josh, who rarely takes an interest in such conversation, suddenly joins in. This shocked Zen. Josh is the last person he expected to participate in this conversation.

"No. My mother will not be happy. She might even cry." For the past few days, Zen's mother suddenly took an interest in his love life. She asked him if whether he found someone he is interested in.

He has no idea why his mother suddenly asked him that, but he answered her nonchalantly. Saying that he has not yet found someone, but for some reason, his mother's reaction is not what he expected. Her face was full of worry.

"You think she's going to cry because you and Leon are interested in the same girl?"

The question Anna asked him almost made him choked. He wants to say that the girl they are talking about is him, and he is not definitely not competing against Leon. 'This is getting ridiculous.' He inwardly said.

"No. I'm not interested in her, and I am not competing against Leon with kind of nonsense."

"I don't know, man. That girl is a beauty. And now that looking at the picture more closely, she kind of reminds me of you." Aaron's comment suddenly alerted Zen. Though he knows that girl in the picture is him, how can Aaron notice that? If he did not have any idea, Zen wouldn't guess he and that person in the picture is not the same person.

"W-What? Nonsense!"

Anna and Nathalia flinched. "What's with you? Do you really have to shout like that?" Zen has been acting weird since the conversation about the girl has started, and everyone noticed it. They did not point it out because they all thought that he is shy that he is finally have someone in mind, but this time they believe that they got the wrong idea.

"If you're really not interested in her, then there is no need for you to shout like that." Anna frowned. "The way you're acting right now makes us think that you're hiding something."

With that, Zen closes his mouth. He should stay quiet now than to say another word. Zen is afraid that if he does open his mouth now, he might reveal the truth he has been trying so hard to hide.

Leon, who couldn't take it any longer, sat at the very corner of the room and tried his best not to laugh out loud. Everyone watched him, and they all saw him shaking. They know for a fact that he is laughing, but they have no idea why he is laughing.

"What's wrong with him? Did I say something funny?" Anna asked. People around here have been acting so differently, and she feels annoyed about it.

"Just don't mind him." Aaron shrugged.

Back to where Arion is, Franklin and his family are shaking and kneeling in front of Arion. "Please! I didn't know that the Ricci family associated with you in any way! Please don't ruin my family just because of that reason!"

Franklin kept begging and begging for almost twenty minutes now, but Arion is still not saying a word to him.

On the other hand, Veronica has been tearing the moment she found out that Arion Coleman is slowly ruining her father's company. She and her mother were in the room staring at nothing because of her father's orders, but when she heard her father screamed, she got curious and peek at what is happening.

To her surprise, her father is on the floor, kneeling in front of Arion. Her blood boils, seeing that. Though she and her father are not in the right term at the moment, it does not mean that she would want to see him kneeling in front of anybody. Even if that person is Arion Coleman, her father should not kneel.

She ran towards her father, but she immediately regrets doing so. Because of that, she is now kneeling in front of Arion. From the bottom of her heart, she hates every single member of the Coleman family. They are the main reason why her life is so miserable, especially Anna.

Anna is the central core of everything.

"Your family's connection with the Ricci family is such crucial information, but what I'm furious about the reason why I'm ruining everything that your family has, is the fact that your daughter kept on picking on my precious Anna." Whether Arion knows about their connection with the Ricci family, Arion would have still come and ruined them. One of them messes with one of his family members.

He would not have been doing any of this. His daughter was at fault, but Veronica started it all. It is evident from everyone's eyes who made this mess, and if Veronica still doesn't admit it, then the ruin of her family is in her hands.

"Picking on her? Nonsense! It is your daughter that started all of this!" Veronica's mother shouted. Arion raises his brown, and he could not be more speechless. In this situation, how could she be so blind and an idiot at the same time?

"It's nice to care for your child so deeply, but what you're doing is way over the line. Because of the "care" you and your husband have been giving to her, she grew up to be the horrible person that she is now." From Arion's point of view, Frankin and his wife kept on giving and giving whatever Veronica wants because of that, Veronica perceives it like she can anything whenever she asks for it. They never did gave her something that she can use in the real world.

Veronica cannot take it any longer. She finally opens her mouth and said, "My parents are not in the wrong for giving me whatever I want. It's only natural for them to that because we have the fortune to spend. And my mother is right. It is Anna who started all of this. Why blame me? Maybe you are the one who is blind here, Mr. Coleman."

"Young lady, how can you be this stubborn? It's clear that you have not yet experienced how hard life really is, and I'm starting to feel bad for ruining your family. I mean, I can already see that you're going to have a hard time living outside of the fortune you speak of." After saying that, Arion scoffed and started to walk away from them.

He does not want to waste any more of his time speaking with people like them. They are as stubborn as hell. 'Is it really hard for them to admit that they are in the wrong? Geez. Spoiled rich brats sure are annoying.'

Standing outside, Arion sees the person who has been waiting for him for hours. "What's with that face, Arion. You looked peeved. What did they do this time?"

It was Stan who has been waiting for him. Arion has no idea why Stan decided to wait outside rather than to come along with him, torturing the minds of those stubborn people, and he also has no idea why Stan even come along with him in the first place.

"Those mother and daughter pair is stubborn as a rock. They don't want to admit who's really at fault. If they have done that in the beginning, maybe I wouldn't have ruined their company." Arion replied in an annoyed tone.

"Heh. Franklin didn't even try to defend his daughter? That's news to me." Stan is surprised to know that Franklin did not even try to defend his daughter. Usually, no matter what Veronica does, he would always side her.

"I guess his company is much more important to him than Veronica."
