Chapter 525 - Revenge 526: I Agree

"I'm sorry to say this, but your daughter can't even meet up to my standards. She's way... too plain. My wife and daughter are more gorgeous than her."

Veronica's face turned bright red. No one has ever said that to her. No one. Everyone who notices her always says that she is gorgeous and that no one can ever compare to her. She could not fathom why Arion is saying such words to her.

'Is he blind? How can he say that?!"

Arion glanced back at Franklin and said, "Your wife sure is brave to say that."

With that comment, Arion is indirectly saying that he is not happy that Franklin's wife is accusing him of something so vulgar. Of course, Franklin can understand what Arion is saying. He is now starting to sweat that the situation is turning in the wrong direction.

"Please forgive my wife, Mr. Coleman. She was only joking. She is quite a joker, after all." Franklin nervously laughed, then he gave his wife a look. But his wife ignored him, and this made his blood boil.

"Unfortunately, I am not joking, Arion Coleman. And how dare you compare my beautiful daughter to your wife and daughter. Who knows, those two might have gone under the knife." Franklin is literally wondering if his wife ate something terrible to act like this. Out of all the stupids things she could do, she chose to mess with Arion Coleman.

"Not only that, you accuse me, your guest, of something so vulgar, you even accuse my wife and under of something so ridiculous too. It seems to me that you don't know who you are messing with, Mrs. Lace." Arion was barely holding himself back from choking Veronica from messing with his daughter, but now, he thinks he will not hold himself back anymore.

'Mother and daughter pair sure know no limit to their foolishness.'

"Erica! That is enough!" Franklin finally burst. "I want you and your daughter to get the hell out of here. Now! You have done enough!" The longer his wife stays in the same room as Arion, the more she will say unnecessary comments. 

'She could lead the whole family in death row if she stays here.' Franklin inwardly said

Erica wanted to fight her rights to stay in the room, but from the way Franklin shouted at her, she knew that she had crossed his line. With fear in her heart, she and her daughter left.

As soon as they left, Arion spoke first. "Don't even try to apologize, Franklin. Your wife is not joking, nor is she a joker. With that, I not going to let this slide. But first thing first, let's get down to the real reason why I'm here in this dump place."

"Great. My relationship status with Kyle is now spread all over the place." Anna said in an irritated tone. The promise that she made with Kyle is now broken, and it is all because of Veronica.

Leon is currently sitting next to Anna, raises his brow, and says, "Wow. It's my first time to hear someone say that. Usually, any girl would be happy to hear that her relationship is known by everyone." 

"Of course I'm happy."

"So you're happy and irritated at the same time? Can't you just chose one thing?" Anna is only making him confused at her reply. How can he understand what she really thinks if she is not saying it correctly to him?

Anna sighed. "I'm happy that I can tell everyone about Kyle and me, but we promised that until we get my father's approval of our relationship, we can't tell anyone about it."

After she and her brother got home, Anna immediately called Kyle. She explained everything to him. Anna feels terrible that she broke their promise. Thankfully, Kyle was very understanding, and he also said that he does not mind it one bit. In fact, he is happy that everyone knows that she belongs to him.

Hearing Kyle said those words is making Anna blush. Kyle truly knows how to make her heart race.

"Okay. But I don't understand why you still need your father's approval when you two are already in a relationship? In my opinion, you and Kyle are just taking extra unnecessary actions."

"I love my family, and Kyle knows that. He knows that I will feel uncomfortable being in a relationship with him when my father does not like it one bit. Besides, I know for sure that it will be such a nice feeling if everyone that Kyle and I care for approves of our relationship." It might be true that she and Kyle are giving themselves more work, but just like what she said, it will be such a nice feeling to have everyone accepts their relationship.

"Wow. I almost feel touched by such words." Leon spoke in a monotonous tone. 

Anna gave Leon an unhappy look. She noticed this not too long ago, but Leon always has this look on his face whenever there is talk of family and special someone. It is like he does not believe in such a connection. To be more precise, Anna thinks that Leon has never experienced it.

She wanted to ask him about it, but it would only mean that she could be crossing the line. It is Leon's private life. She has no right to ask him. The only thing that he could do is stay quiet and wait for the day he shares his story.

'Your past is such a curious one, Leon.' She inwardly said.

Since they both are in school and are currently on a lunch break, Anna and Leon decided to stay inside the classroom. But to avoid any unnecessary rumors going around, they forcefully dragged their whole friends with them.

Leon's eyes landed on their friends, and a good idea suddenly pops into his mind. "You know, Anna, I don't usually like sharing about what I do in my private time, but last yesterday, I went to a party, and I saw this beautiful person, she's in the same age as us. And I'm telling you, her beauty is way above yours."

Leon purposely said it out loud, and Zen's ears perked up. Nervousness suddenly took over him.

"Really now? Can I see her picture?" It's rare to hear Leon talking about a girl he is interested in, so she can't help but be curious about who this person is talking about.

"Of course, you can!" Without any hesitation, he took out his phone and let Anna see the picture he took. "Tell me, am I wrong, or am I right?"

"You are definitely right. Who is this person?" Anna is not even gonna lie. This person Leon is showing her is way above her, in fact, she is jealous. 

"Her name is-"

As soon as Leon is about to say its name, Zen suddenly came over and covers Leon's mouth. "Haha! Her name is Zeila! Yeah! That's her name, Zeila."

Zen is nervous, to the point that he even pee himself. He is still in the midst of trying to get over yesterday's nightmare, but Leon is trying to make him relive it. Just thinking about it now is making him feel gross.

To make it worse, Anna agreed that his female get-up is much more alluring than her. 'Anna, why did you have to say that! You should not have to say that!'

Seeing how much Zen is shaking, Leon is holding his laughter back. This kind of reaction is exactly what he expected. 

"How did you even know that? You and Leon were together yesterday?" Now that she is asking this, she remembered what her mother said to her last night. None of her friends attended their training. Zen is not the type to skip training, so it would only make any sense if he was with Leon yesterday.

"Y-Yes. I was with him and we met her, and Anna, how can you say that. If you ask me, you are way more beautiful than this woman." He wants to forget, but how can he forget about his nightmare if they are talking about it right now.

'Leon, I really want to kill you right now.' From the back of his mind, Zen is currently imagining how should he kill Leon.

"Seriously, Zen? How can you be so blind? Though I hate to admit it, this girl in the picture is really stunning. Sorry, Anna, I think she your number one spot." Nathalia suddenly appeared next to Zen, and Zen almost tripped because of her.

"Don't be sorry because I agree with you." Both Anna and Nathalia kept on looking at the photo and kept on a compliment that person, which is him.

On the other hand, Leon tap Zen's shoulder and said in a low volume, "Sorry. I know I promised not to share it with anyone, but I was really bored. But hey, it was worth it. I laughed."
