"How nice of you to say that. You should say that to Kyle so that he can have more confidence in making my boss give in."
"Once my brother is finished dealing with his current problem, then I will tell him that," Lannie said.
"Problem?"
"Well, it's more like a personal problem between Anna and my brother." Kyle did not say a word to her, but Lannie can tell that her brother is stressed out. Ever since her brother heard that Anna is going out on a mission, he has been acting strange.
"I hope things will turn out good for them. I can assure you that if Anna comes home crying, the gentlemen in her family will come and get your brother's head."

"Anna, how am I supposed to believe that?" Kyle wanted to believe every word that is coming out of Anna's mouth. But without any evidence shown to him, it is hard to believe.
Anna expected that response from Kyle but hearing it is painful. 'What do I do? He might be thinking that I'm only making up excuses now.' Thinking that telling Kyle the whole truth about her being distant and the result could end up in heartbreak.
"I, I don't know. If there is a logical explanation for this or evidence, I will show it to you." Anna is scared. Too scared that Kyle might leave her. Kyle is the first guy who made her feel that she doesn't have to become someone else while she is with him. He is very different from Juan, and she does not want to let such a guy go.
Seeing that anxious expression Anna is showing him, Kyle felt somewhat relieved. Her expression tells him that she genuinely loves him, and she doesn't want to let go of what they have now.
"If other people heard what you said to me, do you know what they will think of you?" Whether or not Anna is telling the truth, Kyle would not like it if other people ridicule his partner.
"I know. I know they will think of me as some crazy person. You might even think the same thing. But what can I do? I'm speaking the truth." Other people? It does not matter for Anna is someone else other than Kyle heard her. She wants to come clean with Kyle, and that is what she is doing now.
Anna cares no less about those people Kyle is mentioning. What matters to her the most is the relationship she and Kyle have. 'We just got together. I am not about to end this right away.' She inwardly declared.
Not knowing what he should do, Kyle sighed deeply. 'What should I do now?'
"Look at them. They looked like some lost puppy." Claire finds it so ridiculous that Anna and Kyle still have yet solved their problem after all that talking. "What on earth did they talked about? Now they got me super curious."
"From what I saw earlier, Anna was explaining herself, and it seems that Kyle is having a hard time believing her. Now, I think they both are in a corner and don't know how to settle things." Harisson is now questioning himself and asking himself why he stayed longer to watch some teenage drama.
"For how long are they going to be like that? I don't want them to stay longer here with their gloomy vibe." Although sometimes, it is annoying to see Anna and Kyle being all so lovely-Dovey in her cafe, it does not change the fact that they are why her cafe's rate of customers coming in is increasing.
"I'm sure it's not going to last long, Claire. I mean, look at that young man. He's anxious, and he doesn't want Anna to have that sad face on her for much longer." Kyle may not know what he should say to Anna, but Harrison can tell that Kyle wants this conversation to end.
After a few more minutes of that tension between them, Harrison sure that everything will be over. It might even seem like the conversation that just had never happened—the reason why Harrison concluded this way is because he and Claire were like that before.
'No matter what the generation is, love is still just the same.' He inwardly said.
Back to Anna and Kyle, the silence between them lasted longer than they have expected. Not wanting it to continue any longer, Anna spoke first.
"Even though I don't have the evidence that you want, I promise that I will tell you everything. Just, please, don't be like this." Every single time, it was always Kyle who gives in to her. Anna doesn't even remember the day she gives in to Kyle.
'I'm no good as a partner to Kyle.'
"Anna, why do you make it sound like this relationship is about to end?" Kyle asked, then he reached out to Anna's hand and looked at her in the eye. "Do you want this relationship to end?"
Though the answer to that question is obvious, Kyle asked for the sake of teasing her.
"What? Of course, not! I don't want this to end. As a matter of fact, I want you to be my last." Anna saw the smile on Kyle's face, and her face turned bright red when she realized what she just said.
Anna is embarrassed because she said those words out loud. To make matters worse, almost everyone in the cafe is looking in her direction. 'Just kill me now.'
"I don't want it too." While holding Anna's hand tightly, Kyle continued, "I'm sorry if I made it sound like I had enough of you keeping things from me, but Anna, I never intended to let you go. I know there are some things that we both can't talk about, but at the same time, we need to honest with each other, or else this relationship won't work at all."
Hearing all those words coming out of Kyle's mouth, Anna is starting to think that she does not deserve Kyle at all. 'He is way too perfect for me! I haven't done anything to deserve this.'
Anna is about to say a word, but then Claire suddenly appeared. "Now that everything is over, would you two finally order something, and if not, then help this old lady serve customers."
She did not mean to ruin the moment, but Claire had enough of Anna and Kyle sitting in her cafe, not ordering anything. Her cafe is not a place for them to appear and not buy anything from the menu.
"We'll order the usual, Aunt Claire," Kyle said with a smile. He would love to help Claire with the customers, but he would like to have a least one good memory before the day ended after that stressful conversation.
"Aunt Claire, did you hear everything?" Anna nervously asked.
Claire faintly smiled and reassured Anna, "No, my dear. I didn't hear a word that you guys talked about. Besides, I don't want to hear any drama from a young couple like you two. It's a headache, you know?"
Anna felt relieved hearing that. She would not know what to do if Claire were to listen to her unbelievable story. 'I don't want her to think that I'm crazy.'

"Arion, can we talk privately. I have something to tell you."
After long hours of training, Aaron is suddenly called by Leon. Aaron wanted to complain that Leon is ruining his break, but sensing the seriousness of his words, Aaron has no choice but to listen. Without further ado, Aaron followed Leon to somewhere private and asks, "What is it?"
"When I was out on a mission that your father recently gave, I may have found something important, and I haven't told your father about it yet." Leon knows that he will get himself into trouble if he tells Aaron about the information he found, but he does not care. He wants Aaron to be the first one to hear about it.
"...and what information would that be?"
"You and Anna already know that you two are a part of the Ricci family's plan, but that is not all. They have a much larger plan when they have you and your sister in their clutches." Leon has been keeping this information all to himself, and since then, he has been frustrated. He has been waiting for the right time to talk to Aaron without anybody around.
It would have been great if Anna is here too, but since it is essential, waiting for both twins to be at the same place simultaneously is wasting too much of their time.
"Wait. If this is so important as you say it is, why are you telling it to me first before my father?" Aaron is surprised that the first person Leon is telling this information to is him. Naturally, his father would be the first to know about everything that Leon finds.
'He is that loyal to my father.'
"I know. I'm quite surprised at myself too, but that doesn't matter right now."
