6 The Wealthy Patien

A week had passed since Xiao Wei started at the hospital. She didn't really accept many patients because she needed time to adjust. She got accustomed to the place, staffs and colleagues. There were some who liked her and even idolised her despite her being younger and there were some who envied her. It's obvious. There's always going to be good and bad.

Lu Xing knocked. "Dr Wei, you have your first patient." Xiao Wei's assistant intern alerted. Lu Xing had a promising future. He had low EQ, but he knew how to read people. Take this as an instance. One time Lu Xing saw a girl crying outside the train station. He went to her out of curiosity and saw she was pretty girl aged between 21 to 23. He noticed wine stain on her neck and the top of her dress covered with a scarf. Her cheek was swollen and her hair was a mess. She had a bracelet on her hand which looked expensive. Something she obviously couldn't afford. She looked ordinary with perky features. There's no way she could've bought it. And he noticed there's no ring or ring mark on her finger.

"So, did you get caught by the real wife while playing mistress?"

That was a hilarious situation.

Anyways, here at Haixing hospital in Xiao Wei's cabin, a tall man entered. His face was completely covered with a sunglass and a mask.

"Miss Zhe? Although you're a little girl, I won't doubt your capabilities. However, are you certain you can treat anyone?"

Xiao Wei had a puzzled expression on her face. However, she understood he was a rich man by the aura he emitted. The expensive sunglass and the suit he was wearing could help renovate the whole cabin with high class luxurious furniture. Since she grew up lavishly she knew about these. So, is he here for himself? Or does he have a small child who got kidnapped and is suffering from PTSD? Or does he and his child both need treatment cause they lost their respective wife and mother?

"Hello. I'm Xiao Wei. Thank you for respecting me and not judging me by my age. As for your question, I may not be able to treat everyone. However, if they want to get better, they need to cooperate. As long as it's not neurological, I can handle it."

Although Xiao Wei knew a little about neurology, she still didn't want to go out of her comfort zone.

"I heard you've been trying to make a living on your own despite having stable financial status. How about this, I'll pay you 500 thousand RMB everyday for your service, however, the condition is, you have to keep everything confidential, sign and agreement and most importantly.. live with me.."
