Bai Hao’s lips were twitching, ‘That’s even more violent than Pei Siyan.
But wait, why is Xi Que here?’
Bai Hao was petrified; he gazed at Xi Que and just couldn’t figure out why she was here.
“Xi Que was kidnapped here with me.”
Seeing the surprised and confused look on Bai Hao’s face, Jiang Sheng covered for Xi Que right away.
There were so many things he couldn’t figure out now, while Xi Que seemed to know something. He had to keep Xi Que by his side so that he could ask her about the whole thing.
“I see!”
Bai Hao didn’t get suspicious about it; neither did he ask any more questions.
In the meantime, Hei Ming walked out from Pei Siran’s place with smoke puffed out from his mouth.
But by the next second, he put out the cigarette for he had remembered that Jiang Sheng was pregnant.
He turned to Jiang Sheng and said, “Pei Siyan caused big mayhem just to find you, so he’s probably still being detained by the administrator now. You’d better go check on him yourself.”
“Pei Siyan caused mayhem? Where?” Jiang Sheng was bewildered.
“In the urban area, of course. There are people supervising the non-humans. We don’t get to do whatever we want.”
‘Yeah, I think Pei Siyan has told me that before.
So that’s what happened! He was being arrested! I thought he doesn’t care for me.’
Jiang Sheng’s face blushed a little, but then he managed to press that down and acted normally again.
However, Xi Que had already seen his expression just now and then frowned.
Just at that moment, Hei Ming came behind her abruptly and warned her with his cold voice, “I don’t care who you are, but I’ll make you regret if you ever dare to do anything to Bai Hao.”
Xi Que didn’t get scared by his sudden appearance or his threatening words; she just replied indifferently, “I have no interest in your wife.”
After she said so, she walked behind Jiang Sheng. Clearly, she didn’t want to have more conversation with Hei Ming.
Hei Ming’s face became cold again, but by the time he looked up and found out Bai Hao was looking at him, he changed back to his playful look right away, “Oh, well! What is it, little Bai Hao? Are you missing me for not seeing me for this long?”
He even lifted Bai Hao’s chin when he said so, making Bai Hao looked right at his face bossily.
Of course, Bai Hao was unhappy with that. Surprisingly, he didn’t slap Hei Ming’s hand this time; he just stared at him, unmoved.
His reaction made Hei Ming stunned for a second because that was not like the grumpy Bai Hao he knew.
“Wow, why do you behave so well today? Aren’t you gonna get mad at me for flirting with you?”
“Thank you very much for telling me the location of Jiang Sheng. Goodbye.”
Bai Hao slapped off Hei Ming’s hand coldly, turned around, grabbed Jiang Sheng by his wrist and then strode away.
“Is this like a trend or something? Why everyone is dragging me today?” Jiang Sheng was having a fit; he had had enough of being dragged away today.
“I’m taking you to Pei Siyan now.”
“Oh! Okay then!”
Jiang Sheng stopped complaining and put on a smiling face immediately.
‘Wait for me, my master! Your cute little magic fish is still left behind you!’
The magic fish got up from the ground but then, “Bam!”, it got hit by the incoming cars again. The magic fish flew right back to the bush with blood coming out from its mouth.
‘Why is the world treating me like this?’
The magic fish wanted to cry so badly.
“He’s getting even cuter now; even the huffy look of him is cute.” Hei Ming gazed in the direction where Bai Hao left and a smile appeared on his face.
What Hei Ming didn’t know was that there was another guy staring in Bai Hao’s direction just like he did. He was so focused that he didn’t even blink his eyes.
That guy was his own son, Bai Haotian.
The little figure of Bai Haotian was standing at the back gate all alone. He just gazed at the back of Bai Hao for as long as he could still saw him.
For the past few centuries, he had dreamt of seeing Bai Hao every day and night, but he never had the chance.
He ran out of his room because he heard from the subordinates that they saw Bai Hao earlier before.
“I’m so glad that you are still here.” A lovely smile showed on Bai Haotian’s face.
But desolation took over him again by the next second.
Because Bai Hao didn’t know his existence for he thought he was dead already.
“Young master, why are you here? We’ve been looking everywhere for you.”
The maid rushed over and draped a long jacket over Bai Haotian’s shoulders.
Bai Haotian didn’t reply to that question; he looked up at the sky and asked vacantly, “Is it a full moon tonight?”
“Yes, my young master, it is.”
Hearing that, Bai Haotian smiled, “That’s good.”
He turned back to the yard and just as he was walking, his body started to change magically. Within seconds, he had grown from a little kid to a handsome young man. And just like Hei Ming, he was in all black, looking strong and recalcitrant.
“Young master, it’s not the full moon yet! Please don’t change back to your adult look now. It will do harm to your body!” The maid followed up and tried to persuade him.
“No worries. My magic power is at its fullest now.”
Bai Haotian’s voice also changed from a cold and indifferent voice of a kid to the forceful sound of a young man. He sounded strong and confident.
With one hand in his pocket, he walked into the yard with a smile on his face, he was clearly in a good mood, and all the maids that he passed by had blushes on their face.
