Pei Siyan’s anger was instantly suppressed by what Jiang Huo had just said.

Although he was furious, he knew Jiang Huo was right. He had no right to question Jiang Huo when he had absolutely no idea about what Lan Bai had been through.

Pei Hao separated them and pushed Jiang Huo aside so that he and Pei Siyan could keep a distance from each other.

Jiang Huo said that and walked to the balcony to smoke.

Though he looked like he was calm, yet the smoke he spat out was full of impatience. He was probably also worried about Jiang Sheng, but he just acted like he was poised and indifferent about it.

After all, Jiang Sheng was his own nephew! He was more worried about Jiang Sheng than everyone else in this room.

“It’s medical equipment.” Jiang Huo’s eyes turned cold and he said.

“Why should there be medical equipment in that room? I didn’t see any!” Jiang Sheng asked, confused.

“No? Not even one?” Jiang Huo’s voice was full of shock, “Have you seen everything clearly?”

“Why do I need to see it clearly? It’s just a small room and there’s only a bed in there!”

‘What on earth is wrong with him? My uncle looks like he is looking for something.’

“Uncle, are you looking for something? Can I help?” Jiang Sheng asked.

Jiang Huo pinched his brow grumpily and didn’t say anything. Then he cursed, “Damn it.” H seemed to be quite irritated.

After cursing, he sighed and replied, “No, I’m all right.”

‘That doesn’t like all right at all! Something must have happened. This is the first I see my uncle acting like that.’

“I don’t care if you are all right or not. You are not going to leave here if you don’t come clean with us today.”

Pei Siyan had made up his mind, and he must figure out why Jiang Huo was here today.

“Let’s talk downstairs.”

Jiang Huo said and walked out of the room.

Pei Siyan immediately held Jiang Sheng’s hand and followed right after, so did Bai Hao and Pei Hao.

Uncle Mo, who had been silent all the time, was staring at the wall, seemingly curious about what was going on.
