A big bright, proud smile formed Kana's lips as she nodded her head. It was like she was the one who had done all the things the old man said just now. "That is my baby! You should never expect anything less from them! Mmm… Mmmm..."
"I should also mention that your daughter Yana has also become a goddess. She has become the Goddess of Beginning." The old man announced.
"Goddess of Beginning?" Kana asked. She did not know much about the other gods and goddesses, so her interest was piqued. She knew from what she heard about Yana that she was one who loved to fight. So her becoming a goddess quite surprised her.
"The Goddess of Beginning is different from other gods and goddesses. She is one who excels at combat due to her ability to wield gravity and bend time and space. She has no control of time and space but is able to use the power of gravity to bend it to her will, making it hard to kill her. To be honest, even I think I would have trouble with her now. Only the Goddess of Death and Angelica would be able to fight with her head on without issue. As even gravity can not escape death and the power of word that resonates with the soul is unable to be stopped.
"Hmm, here, take a look." The old man waved his hand, creating a water screen in the air.
Upon it, Kana saw a young woman with a sword in her hand. Her foot was pushing a big burly man's face into the blood soaked ground. Around her were many more dead bodies and large sword scars that sliced the land in two. The young woman looked like the god of slaughter with her body drenched in blood, combined with the cruel smile that formed on her lips. She raised her sword and stabbed through the burly man's back effectively and decisively taking his life. Her eyes turned toward the sky as she slowly closed them before opening them again. Only then did the sword in her hand disappear as she turned and walked up the set of stairs that was in front of her.
"Those people are?" Kana asked. She was not surprised by the scene she saw. Her daughters had all walked different paths, this much she knew. They had to walk through life the best way they knew how. Yana yearned to be strong by using the sword in her hand. It was a path filled with blood. But this did not mean that Kana would let people try to bully her daughter even if they were already dead.
"Ah, that was rank number two through five who were attempting to stop her from taking on the trial. They were basically a gang of thugs who only submitted to the strong." The old man said casually.
"Humph! Serves them right! Trying to stand in my baby's way!" Kana snorted.
"The trial should be no problem for her as it is all based on strength. The power of gravity she wields now is so strong that she really has no match within the realm of blood. But I will say this… She may try to fight you later on in order to better herself." The old man was actually more afraid she would want to fight him. The little girl's sword stances were strange. If she were to merge gravity into all ten stances, Kana's ability to rule over the other realms would be further solidified. When combined with Angelica's power and the power that Rain was cultivating, the three of them alone were enough to stop armies of millions.
The only one lagging behind for power was her husband. He worried he was not going to be able to grow any more… "I wonder if I should toss him into that place…."
There was one long lost power that no one dared to venture to get. That was because the place to get this power was filled with some of the most frightening existences. But the strange thing about this power was that although it was filled with peril, the power itself was good. If Creige could gain this power and get acknowledged by it, he would have the power to protect his family from anything that came. It was the power to protect and would allow him to be one step away from becoming the first God of Protection. While thinking about this, the old man nodded to himself and decided he would go speak with Creige once he was done here to see if Creige was willing to try to seize this power for himself.
While the old man could easily hand the power over, he did not wish to do things that would not allow one to grow. He wanted each of Kana's family members to grow stronger, allowing them to progress and learn as they go. All this experience will allow them to build stronger foundations with their new abilities.
While the old man was lost in thought, Kana was happily watching her daughter on the water screen. Her eyes filled with longing. She pictured herself hugging her daughter and kissing her soft cheeks. Just thinking about it made Kana smile. She sat down on the table and waved her feet back and forth as she watched Yana doing her thing. As she watched, an idea came to mind. "Hey, old man, bring up two more screens of Rain and Angelica too so I can see them."
"Haha, sure." The old man decided he would hang around for a bit and give Kana some time to see her daughters. He waved his hand once more, creating two more water screens that showed both Angelica and Rain. Everyone in the room gathered around Kana and watched with her. They were all her family and friends. Kana went from being a little girl who was alone to being surrounded by so many people who loved her. In this life compared to all her others she was truly blessed.
