Chapter 303: Do Not Feed The Kana

Kana sat in front of a heaping pile of food. Those who were also coming to get something to eat gave strange stares in her direction. But to Kana, food was more important than image, no matter what life she was in.  She was happily stuffing her face when Instructor Shelly walked in and sat in front of her. "Number Seven, are you even going to be able to eat all of that?" Instructor Shelly asked.

"Mmm... Vawt Shum?" (Want Some?) Kana asked, her cheeks filled to the brim, causing Instructor Shelly to laugh.

"You are truly an interesting girl. While others are worried about what is next, you are happily eating away as if nothing in the world matters." Instructor Shelly let out a sigh. She had come to test this little girl but seeing her happily eating like this made her think she should wait until she was done. This, of course, was just a thought. Instructor Shelly pulled out a dagger from god knows where and stabbed it at Kana, exerting her killing intent. She was doing this to test, to test to see if that killing intent early meant something. 

But to her surprise, Kana sat there calmly eating her food, not even paying attention, but just as her dagger was about to hit Kana, her hand was hit by something, and the dagger dropped from her hand and onto the table with a clang. She looked at what it was to see a chicken bone lying next to the dagger. She stared at Kana in disbelief. But the damn girl was still munching away. "Shructor Fewlly, iwts mot wice to dwoo that vifle I wam eating." (Instructor Shelly, It's not nice to do that while I am eating.)

Instructor Shelly was still leaning over the table, staring at Kana in disbelief. She never thought after all the strict training she had to go through that her attack would be so easily diverted like that to the point that she lost her weapon! This was a huge kick to her ego! But at the same time, she was extremely excited. She wanted to know just what kind of monster was this little girl!? Sitting back down and scratching her head awkwardly, Instructor Shelly let out a forced laugh as she said: "Haha! Sorry, sorry, this is how I test my students from time to time. To see if their guards are up."

"Hmm? Ofay!" (Hmm? Okay!) Kana still did not stop eating or look in Instructor Shelly's direction. She only cared about expanding her little stomach.

"Then I will leave you be for now. I must go finish some paperwork." Instructor Shelly got up, her palms sweating. She wanted to rush to the main office and beg them to just let the girl pass, but she knew this was not possible. She walked back to where her sisters were a bit absentmindedly. "Sister Shelly, did you go easy on her?" One of her sisters asked. 

"You saw?" Instructor Shelly asked.

"Mmm... I was monitoring the cameras." Her sister replied.

"Then can you bring it back up? I want to see the moment she even threw the bone at my hand." Instructor Shelly did not even see Kana move and only felt the bone hit her hand before losing her grip on her dagger.

"I figured you would, so I saved it on an external, here." Her sister took out a USB drive and handed it to her. Instructor Shelly thanked her and headed to her room and right to her laptop.

When she saw the video, the kana motions were still too fast when watching it regularly. She had to slow it down to actually see the moment the bone left Kana's hand. But when she paused the screen on a certain section, a chill ran down her spine. "This kind of look… Only those old men have this kind of look in their eye… I should not test her anymore on my own. I have a feeling I might die without even knowing how." 

As for Kana, who was causing her instructor to become fearful of her, she patted her now fattened stomach as she let out a satisfied burp. "Life is always good with food."

She got up and left the cafeteria, and headed back to her dorm room. When she arrived, she found her new roommates were busy chatting away. One girl who wore pigtails stood up and crossed her arms across her chest. "Since you are here, we need to decide the hierarchy."

"Oh? So you want me to break your legs too, so that  you can be tossed out in the trash like that other girl?" Kana asked with a beautiful smile on her face. Her words causing the other girls to shrink back. They seemed to have forgotten this fact.

"I…. we submit..." The girl who was just now acting haughty quickly lowered her head, not daring to look Kana in the eye.

"Mmm… You can do as you please just do not bother me. But remember the first shred of killing intent I feel from you girls, I will end your life." Kana said this without even looking at the girls as she walked over to her drawer, took out her nightwear, stripped, and put it on. Only then did she hop into her bed and close her eyes. The two girls stared at her as Kana quickly fell asleep in a  matter of seconds. 

The two girls stared at Kana dumbfounded, not sure how to react to this. She went to sleep just like that!? Was she not afraid of them making a move on her while she slept? Although they had such thoughts, they did not dare act on it or even look at Kana for too long.  As for Kana she was happily snuggled into her blanket in a deep sleep.

"Lad just sitting here won't help any. Take the lass back with you and rest in one of the rooms. She might be in her trial for a while. I am sure you do not wish to hand bathe her here do you?" Old Sir said as he looked at Creige who was gently running his fingers through Kana's hair.

"It's fine?" Creige asked.

"Yeah go ahead. I know you do not wish for her to lay on this cold floor like that. Take good care of her. I promise the gift she will receive after this will truly be worth all her struggles."
