[bonus chapter 9/20]
"What are you screaming for!?" Aoi yelled. She instantly got mad at Tri'an's reaction. She did not know why she would be afraid of Kana all of a sudden after learning who she was.
Kana was also very confused by this. She did not know why Tri'an was suddenly so scared. "Ummm… Why do you seem very afraid?"
"Yo-you don't know?" Tri'an asked as she tried to calm herself down. "The god or goddess of death is someone revered by any race no matter which plane of existence they live on or planet they might be from. The god or goddess of death is the one who will always strike fear and reverence into the heart of everyone. Only the goddess or god of life can match you. "
"I do not understand as it is now I am a named god, but there are realms higher than that as well… so why is the goddess of death named as such if they are revered on any plane?" Kana asked.
"Silly child… You must not have lived very long yet. The realm of gods is nothing but a name for those who first ascend to become immortals, but they are no god. They are just powerful beings. Us spirits are stronger than a small immortal. You do not know what a true god is until you have seen one. They are beings beyond anyone's imagination." Tri'an just dropped a bomb on Kana's views of the world around here. To find out that, in truth that the idea of a god was not what she thought and that they were just playing gods.
"How do you know all of this?" Naru asked.
Tri'an smiled and waved her hand. As she did, many glowing threads spread throughout the world and up into the sky. "My world is a world connected to the ley lines of every universe in existence. You could say this world is very special because of this and is protected. For visitors to show up here is very rare. Normally they would fall into some kind of void. But of those who came, they have all died. As my world is untouched by outside forces, it is also rich in materials and treasures left behind by… Ahem… Let's just say greed is one thing that kills people."
"I see. So in a sense, all sprites on this planet are basically seers of every universe in existence… Is it possible that... Let's say I wish to know about some planet someplace you would know about it? " Kana asked.
"Yes. Any planet you can name I will be able to tell you about." Tri'an answered.
"Then tell me about Earth. It is said to be in a special zone cut off from everything." Kana was just wondering what had actually happened to the planet she was originally born on. She had no idea how much time had passed on that world.
"One second." Tri'an's body suddenly began to glow. She tilted her head back and looked up towards the sky. Then in front of everyone's eyes, light shot from Tri'an's eyes up into the sky and expanded into a rectangular shape and began showing pictures of a ruined city.
Kana looked at the pictures and sighed. "It seems that world was just full of hate after all."
The images being displayed were of war. Each picture showed a different place, each one the same as the last. It showed soldiers fighting and people fleeing. It seemed the world was actually on the verge of collapse. Kana shook her head and was glad she was no longer there. "That's good. I was just wondering."
"You sure know a peculiar world. The whole world was at war with itself. And the ones overseeing the experiment there have decided the world was a failure. It should be gone from existence in a few days." Tri'an information made Kana feel gloomy. She remembered that Eie was from Earth as well and was looking to get back to see her son. But from the looks of that earth, the technology seemed to be not as advanced as it should be.
"Tri'an, are there more Earths in other dimensions by chance?" If there was another earth in other dimensions, then Eie might still be able to see her son even if it was not the one she gave birth to, or she could have come from an alternate earth altogether.
"Yes, there is an infinite amount. So I only picked the one in this plane of existence." Tri'an answered.
"I am starting to get a headache..." Naru acted as if all this information was too much for him, held his head, and dramatically fell towards Aoi in hopes she would embrace him, but only Aoi snorted and stepped to the side, causing the little guy to fall on his butt. He looked up at her with big round watery eyes, only for her to kick him to the side. He sat up and hunched over, hugging his knees, and began drawing circles in the dirt.
"I see… Is it possible for you to focus in on one person if you know what they look like?" Kana was wondering if she could even give Eie a glimpse of her son. She had done so much for her that Kana was hoping to help them in some way.
"It is possible, but I would need to see the memories of a person who knows them." Tri'an answered.
Kana immediately opened a portal back home and stuck her head through, scaring Eie half to death. "Eie!"
"Ahhh!" Eie yelled out, almost jumping out of her skin, "Kana, can you not do that!?"
"Sorry! But, come here, it's important." Kana waved her hand, causing Eie to come flying towards her. She then grabbed Eie and pulled her through the portal.
"What!? Why did you bring me here!? I was really busy, you know!" Eie complained.
"Stop whining and let Tri'an see into your mind and think about nothing but your son." Kana explained as she turned Eie around to look at Tri'an.
"What? My son!? Wh-what do you mean!?" Eie, body trembled as she looked at Kana and then back at Tri'an.
Tri'an smiled as she said: "I am not fully sure what is going on myself, but from what I understand, you are from that planet called Earth correct?"
