Placing the clay, she began to rotate the wheel. First time, the pot broke in middle as her hands were not smooth enough while handling, piercing a hole in the pot. She started the whole process again, and this time just when she thought she made it, but the rotating wheel slowed down, as she didn't rotate it the second time, making the pot into a deformed structure.
Lucia huffed and rested her hands for a while. She was thinking to all that she was doing from the beginning. And, how the potter worked on the pot, he was making. She repeated the memory, which caused her to take interest in this activity. But, the desired result was not coming out.
Nonetheless, Little Lucia didn't lose hope and tried again. This time she remembered every mistake she did in past tries and worked out. However, no matter what, she isn't getting the desired shape she needed it to be.
Disappointment clouded on her face, but her tries didn't stop.
Aeinshia saw Lucia working hard for a clay body and finally spoke about it. She really couldn't withstand Little Lucia getting sad over a clay body, " Lucia, you did well. Let the maid help you. You can learn it from her, " She suggested. She would have added a hand into Lucia's creation, if she knew how to make a pot, however, never did she came across the thought to learn it and as one can understand, she didn't really know how to make a pot. So she thought the maid could be if any help to Aeinshia.
Little Lucia finally halted her actions, turned to face Aeinshia, " Sister Aeinshia, this is my interest. I know I'm inexperienced, but that shouldn't be a hindrance to my development. I am a princess as everyone knows, so I could get all the privileges, take assistance from the maids and teachers, but it should remain to giving wordly advice. Work should be done by me, as I'm learning it and wish to make it perfect, from my perspective. Analogous to how God shows us the destination, but its us who need to create or find the path to reach the destination. "
She halted, took a deep breath, knowing she spoke a lot at once and continued her stance, " It's not like I could not get help from anyone everytime. It is already time for me to depend on myself. This is my situation, I need to face it. If I am a commoner then who would help me? I need to do all my works and chores. All people will do is tell. I don't want to be a burden for others and learn everything by my hands, sister. This would improve me to a better version. "
Yes, in olden days, mostly, pots were made by woman by themselves at the homes. Buying pottery outside was expensive, instead they made pots needed for daily use by themselves.
Lucia continued her monologue, " A princess is someone who understands others work. How am I supposed to know how much hard work others face within giving it a try? It is easy to lead the life of a rich and powerful with previleges, but hard to lead the life of a commoner after living the life of Royal. I want to be strong enough to face any situation that comes my way and get accustomed to any situation that befalls on me. I want to understand our empire's people. After all, not everyday is ours. One should never think about the result and give their best, " She ended her speech and continued working.
This little girl made Aeinshia speechless. She couldn't believe a little girl like her had such sense of maturity and even thinks greater than her, whereas here she is, still trying to sit in a corner wailing her heart out. She was way older than Lucia, mentally. But, she was sitting and crying over her ill fate, loosing hope and faith in living. Lucia's words hit the nail on her head and made her realize one thing.
Crying won't earn her anything. She should gain her courage and face her situation, no matter the situation. The result can be anything, but she should at least try and make a plan, rather than cry over her failed plan.
Aeinshia was now walking in the hallway, determined. She was feeling a ray of hope inside her. She would have to face her own fears and challenges, if she wants to solve her messed up life.
Aeinshia was going to see her uncle. She realized, she left Alexander on hang for an answer for the question, he asked earlier during breakfast.
It was almost lunch time now. So, she was expecting to see him in the dining room. Every meal time, your would surely find the Emperor in the dining room. Alexander always makes sure, that he always eats all of his daily meals in the dining room. Even, if he is alone.
Aeinshia never understood this habit, but she guessed, it has to do something with her aunt, the Empress of the empire and only love of Alexander's life.
She admired their love. She never got to know, about her parents' love. Not until, her father gave her the stone and told a bit of their story. It was admirable, but the only love story she heard, besides the fairy tales, was her uncle and aunt's story.
Alexander never went into details, but emphasized the fact, that the Empress, Elina, came into his life, when he needed her the most. She became his pillar and never expected something from him. Not even his love. It's likt right things come into your life at the right time you need. She is the light he is following in this dark abyss.
He was in a tough position, with the empire because at that time he was on the verge of loosing the throne. Despite being the heir, there were many opposing forces and him being inexperienced didn't help at all. Beside everything, his father, the previous emperor also didn't really care about his child and only indulged in his pleasure and carnal desires, disregarding the throne and state matters away.
So Alexander had to claim his right and worked hard to reach this position and at exactly at such times, he met his love of the life, who devoted herself prolly to him and his empire, always supporting him from dark. In fact, she never even expected to gain anything in return, even after Alexander became an emperor.
Alexander always told Aeinshia, that in the past, whenever it became unbearable for him and lost his hop ro continue, he would go to his, no, his and his love's special spot. And, somehow, Elina would sense he was there and she would go there to be a comfort to him.
In all honesty, it was not the place, Elina was Alexander's comfort place. The woman, who supported and stood beside him and held him, from crashing down. That's why, her loss was almost unbearable for him. It was really an unexpected death. He thought he could have been careful, but all he could do was take precautions from such situations happening again and cannot change the past.
Aeinshia heard little stories and funny moments of them, from Alexander. She admired their love and wanted a love like theirs. She always dreamed of her prince to be like her uncle.
Aeinshia unconsciously smiled, when she remembered, how her fantasies were about her love. Now, it all seems like children stories to her. Guess, she really was craving for love at that time.
Well, who is she hiding the truth from. She always wanted a love, where she could love other person with her whole heart and the other person would do the same. They would confess their love and live happily ever after.
And, she saw a beautiful future with Evan. She was so desperate to make her fantasies a truth, that she forgot the reality. She forgot th difference between reality and dream. She went too far and somehow, turned her situations against herself.
With all these thoughts running through her head, she finally reached the dining room. She heaved out a sigh and composed herself. She was debating how she would greet her uncle, but nothing was coming to her muddy mind.
She entered and looked around, but there was no sign of Alexander. The lunch was being placed on the table, so it was confirmed that the Emperor would be entering soon. She had to wait to talk to him.
Just then, she felt someone stopped behind her and she whipped her head fast.
