Chapter 89 - (Doubts And Concern, Mystical Mountain)

Hiro's words startled her complexion a little, but judging by his ability of an ancient level monster.

He should know something that she didn't.

Furthermore, he had already made a promise to buy her some beautiful clothes.

So she doesn't mind spending some time here, might as well take the liberty to loosen up a little and appreciate the beautiful night sky.

For those guests that Hiro was mentioning before. Hiro had always been made aware from the system that his existence was tracked down by an unknown force.

And after several tiny inquiries, he finally discovered who those people were.

An old acquaintance with his family. They were currently in a state of desperation while running away from the empire.

Who else could they be other than Vince with his family?. Including Keylon the tiny masked figure.

And so Hiro suddenly thought of a great idea to greet them. And also, today might be the first day for the emergence of his new force.

The members included Mirai, Saya, (redacted) princess, Ivan, and finally, the soon-to-be Vince.

Quite a lineup under him, and all of them are by no means normal characters.

Mirai possessed the direct corroded link similar to that of Saya. The princess possessed the newest deviant link similar to that of Ivan.

And finally Vince, a human expert at the level of demi ancient realm.

As for the name of this force that he was about to create, he had already thought about it for a very long time.

This force shall be known as the EverBeyond.

(Author note: Any thoughts for this amazing masterpiece of mine?. It took me many hours to come up with such a dazzling art like this. I know you guys would like it to. I am good at naming.)

(If you guys have a better suggestion for the name, I am willing to hear to broaden my naming skill)

-

46 kilometers away from the island where Hiro was.

It was a small boat the size of a black dot in comparison to the vast ocean.

A group of people in black cloaks could be seen there with Vince's stalwart figure standing at the forefront of them.

Peering ahead expectantly with his right palm opened to the front. There was a weird glittering compass on his palm, with the pointer directing ahead for them.

The waves were splashing around with the boat speeding ahead unhurriedly. All of them were sitting down on those chairs and waiting there patiently.

Waiting for the so-called good news from Vince.

Not long after.

"We are close... It won't be long before we reach our destination"

Vince finally stood up from the chair, strode forth the front deck, and placed the compass on a slightly elevated white platform in front of him.

Hearing his words, his wife then came to his side and asked worriedly.

"Honey, I can't stress this enough but are you sure that the monster would be willing to shelter us?. We are humans after all"

"Don't worry, I have a way to convince that existence. And as long as I am here, nothing will happen to my family "

"At the very least, can you tell me where your confidence came from?. I don't want to put our daughter's lives in danger"

The woman asked again with a pleading gaze. Grabbed Vince's palm and squeezed it a little.

Vince naturally understood her thoughts of concerns. The existence that they were about to meet is by no means a normal monster.

And the word monster had already given off so many bad impressions for her. It was too risky, Vince's decision might lead them to death but he is after all her husband.

The best thing that she could do now is to find some more assurance inside his plan. To ease her heart down and also to make sure that their daughter won't be in danger.

Feeling the soft touch of her hand, and seeing the worried gaze that was staring back at him.

Vince then softly replied.

"The existence that we are about to meet is a monster inside a human female form. The empire founders had launched an attack against her so in a sense both of our situations can be counter as an ally. "

"But Vince, that doesn't answer my question at all. What is our worth for that existence to accept?. If it's you alone then it might be possible but with us accompanying you, it might be a different story"

Like she had said if it was Vince alone that went to meet Hiro.

The chances of him being accepted might be extremely high due to his strength and coupled with the amount of knowledge inside his mind.

But if he were to bring his family along, then the chances for his plan to work might be extremely slim.

Though, what she doesn't know was that Hiro will accept them no matter how weak they are.

He doesn't mind sheltering a group of tiny people in exchange for a powerful demi ancient expert. Sounds like a good trade for him, and he will lose nothing in the process.

Her worries were meant to be pointless if she were to know of this matter.

"Don't worry, as long as I am here. Nothing will happen to my family"

Vince repeated back those words in a soft voice. Pulled her body into his embrace and caressed her long hair gently.

At the same time.

Both Keylon and Evelyn were feeling rather uncomfortable while seeing this intimate episode in front of them.

Especially Evelyn with her cheeks reddened into a hot bun.

In terms of appearance, her mother still retained the same look as she before when she was 20 years old.

Looking rather young and beautiful as if the erosion of time barely did anything to her youth.

Then another waiting game shall begin with the boat continuously moving about the front. Getting closer and closer to Hiro's warm greeting.

-

Not long after, Vince finally saw something up ahead inside his point of view.

"There it is!. It should be there!"

"Everyone come up here!"

He excitedly called out the rest of his family members from resting. Gathered them to the front and looked ahead where the tiny dot was.

His face was plastered with joy but that was only him while the rest of them had these concerning complexions on their faces.

No matter how many words of assurance Vince had given to them, in the end, it would still be hard for them to accept it.

Worries of the unexpected were still there and they could only pray within so that nothing bad will happen to them.

The closer the boat got to the tiny black dot, the clearer the image became to their eyes. And what joined into their sight was simply breathtaking for them to fathom.

"What in the world?"

"This place is?!"

Sounds of exclamation gasping about from their mouth. With their eyes wide open in shock and even their scalp went numb a little in the presence of such a view.

It was a towering mountain draped in the immortal mist all around it. The peak that punctured through the sky and the vacuumed area under it.

With no water whatsoever creating a c-shaped space that spanned beyond their full extent of sight.

"T-this?... Honey, is this the place of that senior?"

The woman hurriedly asked in a trembling tone. Not believing that a monster would live in such a mystical place.

The impact from the picture in front of her was a bit too appalling. She had never seen such a place before, even the empire's palace could barely be compared to this mountain.

Like a sacred place made for immortals, secluded for eternal.

"I am not sure myself, but the compass is pointing towards this mountain. That senior should be here"

Vince replied as the boat finally stopped from moving any further.

Fearing that they might accidentally fall into the giant space of nothingness under the mountain. Better be safe than sorry.

"Let's go. "

"Y-yes"

Under the cover of Vince's energy. He grabbed all of the people on the boat and glided away to the mountain in a cautious manner.

His speed was slow while at the same time, he secretly circulated his divine senses all over the mountain area.

And to his surprise, his powerful divine senses were unable to discern further up from the lower part of the mountain.

As if there was a very powerful restrictive force that was rejecting his divine sense.

"There's a giant set of stairs there. "

He whispered to himself in a low voice.

Drifted away towards the location and moments later, they finally arrived before a set of strange giant steps that stretched up above the mountain.

Looking around this place, numerous giant serpent statues were erected here and there, like a bunch of sleeping guardians.

Giant floor tiles made out of weird red essence and beautiful fields of flowers on both sides that spanned over kilometers.

"This place is so beautiful "

Evelyn blurted out in surprise as she stretched her hand down to touch a group of purple flowers.

And Keylon stepped closer towards one of the many giant statues and slowly attempted to interpret the words that were engraved on it.

"Mark? "

"the beginning of the truth?. "

"What's the meaning of this?"
